"That’s enough. Stop making a fuss." lissa took a step back to avoid the kiss.
They stopped in front of Marc’s ward. She carefully recalled the scene where she saw Ryleigh. "If I’m right, she is not sick."
"What do you an?" Murray smiled and asked.
lissa muttered to herself, "I can tell if she is sick by reading her face. Although she is pale, her eyes are clear, and she could walk steadily. The blood she spat out didn’t sll right. To deceive you, she has put in a lot of effort such as bribing the doctors and nurses and using artificial blood."
When Murray heard this, his heart sank. Ryleigh alone couldn’t do so many things.
So...
"She has a helper," He deduces in a low voice.
"You guessed it." lissa was not surprised. Even she knew what was happening, so it would not be difficult for Murray to figure it out.
lissa looked up at him, "If Ryleigh is not Lily but knows so much about her, you will be able to find your Lily when you find out about her and her helper."
Murray noticed that lissa used the phrase "your Lily", so he knew that she was jealous again.
He tightened his grip on her taking a step forward to get near her. "What’s wrong? Do you not believe my love for you?"
"Not quite. It’s just that I don’t know what n are thinking. Since you are good to Ryleigh because you thought she was Lily, you may do the sa to the true Lily..."
She hadn’t finished speaking when Murray pressed his lips against hers leaving the words stuck in lissa’s mouth.
He held her in his arms and kissed her passionately, taking away his fiancée sobriety. She had to lean against his arms and accept the strong, overbearing and wild kiss.
It had a hint of punishnt and lissa still suspected his feelings for her.
Murray increased his strength still holding her head with both hands and opened her lips with his tongue to suck and entangle with hers as if he was to swallow her.
The woman gasped in pain as if she had just been electrocuted.
lissa finally managed to catch her breath, "It hurts..."
Seeing her like this, Murray imdiately softened his actions and kissed her more and more gently, and soon, lissa felt a complicated feeling flooding her.
lissa was shy, but she felt comfortable and wanted more kisses.
"God, how can I have such a thought..."lissa’s face turned red with the idea.
After so ti, Murray let go of her.
If it wasn’t for the fact that they were at Marc’s ward, he wouldn’t have let her go so soon.
She blushed and leaned against his chest.
"Can you not kiss in such a place? If Grandpa cos out and sees it, it will be awkward." lissa could not help blaming him.
"I think Grandpa will be happy to see it." Murray was in a good mood at the mont, the smile on his face softened his usual cold countenance.
lissa went speechless at his words.
She turned to look at the door and knocked on it. "Co in." Marc’s voice sounded from inside.
The door opened, and Clara said respectfully to them, "Mr. and Mrs. Gibson."
Murray was satisfied with the way she addressed lissa. He held his fiancée’s hand and walked inside.
Marc was leaning against the bed and reading the newspaper. He had glasses and looked kind.
When the grandfather saw them, he imdiately put down the news and took off his glasses. He smiled brightly and greeted, "lissa, co here and take a seat."
"Marc, how do you feel?" She let her hand be held by the old man and sat down next to the bed.
"I feel much better now. After you treated , I felt much swifter and less pressure," Marc said briskly.
lissa grabbed the old man’s hand and put it on the quilt. Her voice was soft and pleasant. "That’s so good. Grandpa, I will take your pulse again so that I can understand your physical condition."
"Alright." Marc couldn’t help smiling when he sensed her consideration.
He glanced at Murray standing in the corner, "How is it? The fiancée I picked for you isn’t bad, right?"
"Of course." Murray raised his eyebrows, "The old is always right."
lissa pursed her lips. What were they two talking about? Could they change the topic?
She pretended not to hear anything and lowered her head to concentrate on taking Marc’s pulse.
Murray’s gaze fell on lissa.
It was said that n who were working seriously attracted the attention of won.
It was also the case for n when won focused on their job.
Murray looked at lissa’s profile. She had exquisite and delicate facial features and fair and clean skin. He was obsessed in an instant.
He could not wait to marry her.
His wife would only be lissa!
He was so focused on her that he didn’t even notice when Joseph entered the room.
A few minutes later, lissa finished taking the old man’s pulse. She gently put his hand down and let out a sigh of relief. "Marc, your pulse is stable. Other than your weak health because of the long illness, there is nothing serious. Take good care of yourself, and you will slowly recover."
"Thank you." Marc took her hand and sighed.
He ca back from the verge of death. If it wasn’t for Dr. Hanson and lissa, he probably wouldn’t have survived this.
"You don’t have to, Marc, with here, you will live a long life!" She returned the grip in her hand.
"A long life is not what I want, I just hope to see you marry Murray and give birth to a great-grandson." The old man stroked his beard and said with a smile.
"A great-granddaughter is fine!" Marc was afraid that lissa would think that he valued boys more than girls, so he added this.
"Marc, what are you talking about? How can it be so fast?" lissa was a little embarrassed.
"Not at all." Murray strode over to lissa and looked down at her, "I can’t wait a mont."
lissa was lost for words.
Could they stop talking about this topic? It was too embarrassing...
