Despite being slamd an option of fine. It seed the eting would end well.
"I’m happy I ca to this eting. When I was coming in. My thoughts were there was nothing good that will co out of this. But everything have two sides" lissa said happily.
"Now that you are happy, shall I introduce you to a program we are planning to hold. Why not be one of our high esteed stakeholders?" Mr Black asked her.
"I would really love to be" lissa accepted without much further ado.
"In that case, we should carry you along and tell you all the benefits of this program" Mr. Black seed happy for her acceptance.
"I’m all ears, sir" lissa replied politely.
"This program was established to sensitize all the personnels of entertainnt companies. Not just investors, entertainers but also the technicians as well. We will educate everyone about their duties. How to know if they are being enslaved or cheated" Mr Black looked like he had a lot to talk about.
"That is for the employees, specifically,I think" lissa chuckled.
"We also have plans for the employers. There are so entertainers who exploit companies because of their popularities. The companies couldn’t do anything for the fear of audience leaving them" Mr Brown answered her swiftly.
"Additionally, we will set up a policing body. Cases like yours with Anthony will be their main focus. They will be tasked with avoiding such occurrence at all cost" Mr Black added.
"Yes, your case has caused a change in the public opinion about us. We are going to do sothing to gain our footing back too" Mr Brown scoffed.
"All what you are saying are good things. So which category do I fall into?" lissa questioned.
"Of course, stakeholders. We are using your face and influence. You will be our high esteed figure anywhere we are having the social etings" Mr Black answered quickly.
"I need to say this. We are grateful that you accepted to be part of our program. A lot of companies has turned us down. They claid they do not have ti. And this program is going to be beneficial to us all" Mr Brown appreciated her.
"Without seeing the planning for the program. From what I heard for you, I am rest assured the program is going to bring a lot of developnt to Entertainnt Companies generally" she buttressed.
"Many people don’t see that" Mr. Black moaned.
"It is a privilege for to partake in sothing right after this saga" lissa nodded.
"We will keep you inford as the preparation progresses" Mr Brown assured her.
lissa’s phone started ringing.
"I’m sorry, I should have turned that off" she ended the incoming call.
"You can answer the call, please" Mr Black waved at her.
"Thank you" lissa answered the call imdiately as it started ringing again. She stood up and moved to a corner for a little privacy.
"Hello ma’am, it’s , the nanny" nanny said from the other end.
"I know, what happened?" she asked sternly.
"Can you help reach Mr. Murray. I’ve been trying to contact him to no avail. There is sothing urgent to discuss with him" the nanny’s voice was shaking.
"Is there any problem at ho?" she was worried. She knew the nanny would not call except there was sothing she couldn’t handle.
"There is no problem but Mr Murray asked to call him and I haven’t been able to reach him for so ti" the shakiness of her voice had beco more glaring.
"So why is your voice shaking like this, did you offend him?" she questioned him.
"No, not at all. Just help get the ssage across to him. Tell him it is about the children" she said hastily.
"And what’s the ssage?" lissa asked eagerly.
"I’m sorry, he has told not to bother you with it. He will understand when you tell him it’s about the children" she repeated.
"Now that he is unavailable, do you realize I am in the position to cater for my children, what is it about them?" she asked with a more strict voice.
"The children are sick. I think they have fever" she said reluctantly.
"You an my kids are sick and you couldn’t tell straight away?" she was angry but this wasn’t the nanny’s fault.
"I’m sorry, ma’am" the nanny begged.
lissa ended the call. There was no way she could get ho on ti even if these people let her leave.
An idea struck her mind.
She made a call.
"Hello, Linda" she said hurriedly. "Are you at ho?" she asked.
"Yes. I just walked past your house, not long ago" Linda chuckled on the phone.
"Please, I need your help. My kids are sick. Can you get them to the hospital for ?" she requested politely.
"Oh, my! Of course! Don’t worry. They will be okay" Linda consoled her.
"Thanks" lissa ended the call and went back to join Mr Black and the others.
"You looked sad, is that a bad news?" Mr Black showed concern.
"My kids are sick" lissa let out. "I need to leave now" she announced.
"You will need to tarry a bit. Mr Brown had gone to get the details of your fine. He will be here in no ti" Mr Black looked behind.
Mr Brown approached them imdiately.
"What’s happening?" Mr Brown gave lissa the file in his hand. "I’m afraid there is a downside to the penalty you are given" he sighed.
lissa opened the file. "What is the downside?" she asked
"You have to make the paynt before you leave here" Mr Brown couldn’t talk confidently.
"That isn’t a problem" lissa brought out her phone again. "All I need is to send this account details to my assistant. He will pay right away" she asserted.
"Mr Brown" Mr Black called. "She just received a call now that her kids are sick. She needs to leave as soon as possible" he solicited for her.
"She has to pay before she leaves and I see it’s like she is already making the paynt" Mr Brown nodded.
"Your account has been funded. I’m looking forward to being your special guest.
lissa rushed out and headed for the hospital
