lisa opened her eyes and saw the lights on the roof of the cabin. The plane was still flying steadily.
lisa let out a long sigh of relief. It was just a bad dream...
"lisa, are you alright?" A few concerned voices sounded at the sa ti.
lisa held her chest and shook her head with lingering fear, "I’m fine. I just had a nightmare."
The dream she had just now was so real.
It was so real that it seed like it had really happened.
lisa thought, Why did I have such a strange dream?
Is it because I had been disgusted by Ryleigh these past few days?
Jaylin turned his head to look at lisa, only to see her face pale and her forehead covered in a cold sweat.
"lisa, you look terrible. Are you really okay?" he asked, feeling bad for her.
lisa forced a smile. "I’m fine."
"Let
take a look." Luca stood up and walked to lisa.
He bent slightly and placed a finger on lisa’s wrist.
Two minutes later, Luca smiled and said, "It’s nothing. Maybe it’s because you’ve been too tired and nervous these past few days. You’ll be fine after a short rest."
"Sure. Thank you, Mr. Luca," lisa said as she ca back to her senses.
lisa had indeed been tired these past few days. She had been trapped in the cave by the avalanche. Shortly after being saved, she imdiately started to look for Luca and now she was rushing back to Aldness.
No matter how fit she was, it was still a little too much for her to take.
"Give
a glass of lemonade," Murray suddenly said to the flight attendant in a deep voice.
"Mr. Gibson, please wait a mont." The flight attendant smiled and said respectfully.
Soon, she brought the lemon water over and handed it to Murray. "Mr. Gibson, here you are."
Murray took the cup and gave it to lisa. "You like lemon water. Drink so and you’ll feel better."
lisa was stunned and subconsciously took the cup.
When her fingertips touched Murray’s palm, lisa’s heart skipped a beat.
It felt so familiar... The feeling made lisa dazed for a mont.
She thought, Murray still rember that I like to drink lemon water?
"Murray, I also want so lemon water." Ryleigh clenched her hands, and a flash of jealousy flashed through her eyes. She shook Murray’s arm.
"Bring
another glass of lemon water," Murray said to the flight attendant indifferently.
"Thank you, Murray." Ryleigh leaned close to Murray’s ear and raised a provocative smile at lisa in a place Murray could not see.
lisa was furious and put the glass of lemon water aside.
Ryleigh was not like the gentle, kind, and considerate girl that Murray had ntioned.
lisa thought, It seems that I really need to investigate Ryleigh.
After a few hours of travel, the plane finally landed at the airport in Aldness.
"Mr. Luca, let’s go to the hospital to see Mr. Marc now." Once they got off the plane, lisa couldn’t wait to rush to the hospital.
Luca nodded. "Let’s go."
Alex had already arranged for a car and they rushed to the hospital.
In the ward, Dr. White, who received the news, was waiting for them.
Sarah and Claire were also in the ward, standing by Marc’s side.
"Dr. White, how is my grandfather?" Murray asked eagerly the mont he entered the ward.
"It’s still the sa." Dr. White’s eyes fell on Luca, who was standing behind Murray. "He has been unconscious all this ti, but all the indicators are still normal. Mr. Luca, co and see him."
Luca took a step forward and said coldly, "All of you, go out and wait."
Murray frowned.
Although everyone said that Luca’s dical skills were superb, this was only a rumor after all.
Murray had not seen Luca’s skills.
What if only Luca and Marc were left in the ward and sothing bad happened...
At this mont, Sarah suddenly said coldly, "You want all of us to get out? That’s ridiculous!"
"Are you that Mr. Luca?" Sarah looked at Luca from head to toe.
Luca kept a straight face. He ignored her.
"Murray, is this really Mr. Luca? Can he cure your grandfather?" Sarah raised her voice and said sharply, "I heard that it was lisa who found him. Rember, it was lisa who made your grandfather ill. How can she be so kind as to find soone to cure him?"
"Mrs. Gibson, please mind your words. You can question , but please don’t question Mr. Luca’s skills!" lisa did not expect that Sarah would say this. She could not help but go against Sarah.
lisa had gone through many hardships to get Luca here, and she didn’t want Sarah to ss it up.
"Mom, that’s enough. Let’s go out," Murray said coldly when he saw that Luca put on a long face.
No matter what, Luca was now Murray’s only hope.
Murray was willing to believe in lisa. He believed that Luca could cure Marc.
Sarah’s expression changed. Claire also said, "Murray, Sarah is right. How can we let a nobody treat grandpa?"
"Shut up! Since when do you have a say about grandpa’s doctor?" Murray was irritated and asked the bodyguards to take Sarah and Claire out.
"Mr. Luca, I’ll leave my grandfather in your care." Murray gave Luca a deep look and said.
Then, Murray turned around and walked out of the ward with the others.
"lisa, you may stay," Luca suddenly said.
"Sure," lisa paused.
"No! lisa can’t go in there! Haven’t you done enough harm to us?" Sarah stopped lisa.
"Mom, can you be quiet for a while?" Murray pulled Sarah away with a long face.
"Murray, have you forgotten how your grandfather fell ill? Do you want lisa to hurt him again?" Sarah glared at lisa and wanted to stop her, but Murray pulled Sarah away.
lisa ignored Sarah and entered the ward, closing the door.
"How is it, Mr. Luca? Can Mr. Marc be cured?" lisa looked at Luca with anticipation.
"Sure," Luca said after a mont of silence.
lisa felt relaxed.
She believed in Luca’s dical skills. Since Luca said Marc could be cured, then Marc would be alright.
Luca opened the dicine box.
"Mr. Luca, are you planning to use your special treatnt?" lisa asked.
lisa had also thought that she could use the special treatnt she learned from Luca to treat Marc. But she was not confident enough, and she had no chance to do so.
Now, with Mr. Luca personally going to give Marc the treatnt, he would be able to cure Marc’s illness.
"That’s right." Luca nodded. He picked out so special instrunt. After disinfecting them with alcohol, he started to use them first on Marc’s chest.
