Chapter 247: Chapter 189 Nightmares

Murray’s deep eyes flashed with surprise. He looked at the middle-aged man behind lisa.

If he was not wrong, this unremarkable-looking man should be Luca.

Murray took a step forward and said in a respectful tone, "Mr. Luca, thank you."

"If you want to thank anyone, you should thank lisa." Luca snorted coldly.

Murray, who had always been mighty, was humiliated. His lips curled up a little awkwardly.

Murray thought, Mr. Luca’s temper seed to be a little weird.

Otherwise, with his superb dical skills, he wouldn’t have hidden in this freezing place for no reason.

After thinking in this way, Murray felt better. He was worried about Marc. "lisa, there’s no ti to lose. Let’s set off as soon as possible," he said.

"Let’s go!" lisa nodded.

She also wanted to rush back to Aldness and cure Marc as soon as possible.

Murray took out his phone and was about to call Alex. Suddenly Ryleigh ran over, panting. She ran straight to Murray, grabbed his arm, and called him in a soft voice, "Murray."

Ryleigh’s hair was disheveled and she was wearing cotton slippers. She looked a little embarrassed.

"Ryleigh? What happened?" Murray was stunned and asked.

Ryleigh looked at lisa warily and tightened her grip on Murray’s arm. "I didn’t see you when I woke up. I was looking for you everywhere."

Murray ca out when Ryleigh was asleep. Seeing her uneasy look, he patted her on the shoulder. "Ryleigh, lisa has found Mr. Luca. Now we have to rush back to Aldness imdiately. You have not recovered yet. Rest here for a few days first. I will ask Alex to pick you up later."

"No, Murray, I don’t want to stay here alone. I will go back with you." Ryleigh shook her head.

Ryleigh thought, How can I let Murray and lisa go together? I would not give lisa any chance to get close to Murray!

"But you haven’t recovered..." Murray said hesitantly.

Ryleigh looked at him with tears in her eyes and said pitifully, "I’m fine. I don’t want to be alone. I will be afraid..."

"Murray, are you going or not?" lisa urged impatiently when she saw Ryleigh acting like a weak and innocent girl in front of Murray.

"Let’s go." Murray put on a serious face.

They went to Aldness in Murray’s private plane.

"Murray, is your plane safe?" Nina sat next to lisa and looked around worriedly, "There won’t be a second accident, right?"

The last ti when the plane lisa took crashed and fell into the sea, Nina was almost frightened to death.

Now that they were sitting on Murray’s private plane, even Nina was afraid of heights.

Murray sat in front of lisa and Nina. He turned around and his deep eyes fell on lisa’s face.

Their eyes t and lisa looked away.

Murray’s put on a sullen face, and he said with frustration, "Do you think I am a person who will make the sa mistake twice, Miss Paul?"

"Don’t worry, Miss Paul. I’ve already checked the plane carefully. It’s safe. There won’t be any problems," Alex added.

"That would be for the best." Nina shrugged.

"Murray, is it really safe?" Ryleigh naturally sat next to Murray, sticking close to him all the way.

"Yes, it’s fine," Murray spoke with a calm expression.

Ryleigh glanced at Murray and rested her head on his shoulder. "Since I fell off the cliff that ti, I had been afraid of standing at a high place and taking a plane."

Murray’s heart skipped a beat.

He thought, Afraid of high places and taking a plane... lisa was also afraid of high places.

Ryleigh and lisa really had a lot in common.

"But now that you’re by my side, I’m not afraid of anything," Ryleigh continued.

"That’s nice. There are still two hours before we reach Aldness. You should take a good rest first," Murray replied calmly.

"Murray, I feel so cold..." Ryleigh suddenly crawled into Murray’s arms.

Ryleigh clung to him tightly. This made Murray feel a little uncomfortable.

He gently pushed Ryleigh away, took off his suit jacket, and put it on her. "This should make you feel better."

Feeling Murray’s alienation towards her, Ryleigh paled slightly. She glanced at lisa who kept a straight face and raised an obedient and satisfied smile. "Murray, you are so good to ."

When lisa saw this, it hurt her heart.

lisa simply closed her eyes.

In her mind, she couldn’t help but recall the scene when she and Murray ca back from France and the plane crashed.

In fact, it had only been half a month. But now when she thought about it, it was like a lifeti ago.

At that ti, did Murray an what he said to her? Was there any sincerity in his words?

lisa frowned and took a few deep breaths to get rid of the inexplicable emotions in her heart.

She thought, I wonder if Murray has found out the culprit behind the crash?

Was it Jim?

If so, why didn’t I hear anything about Jim?

If it was not him, then who could it be?

As she silently thought about these things, lisa’s eyelids beca heavier and heavier, and she finally couldn’t hold on and fell asleep.

She had a very restless sleep.

In her sleep, lisa seed to be locked in a dark room.

Many people intimidated her and beat her up.

lisa wanted to fight back, but she was powerless.

The scene suddenly changed. She was stumbling and running in the forest.

Many fiendish people were chasing after her.

Seeing that those people were about to get her, lisa desperately ran forward.

But...

There was a cliff in front of her...

She looked down. It was pitch black and unfathomable.

There was a cliff in front and pursuers behind. She had no way out!

Just when lisa didn’t know what to do, a tall woman, wearing high heels, walked toward her with a sneer.

It was Ryleigh!

Step by step, she walked toward lisa. Her delicate face was twisted, and she said, "Murray is mine. No one can take him away, including you!"

After saying that, Ryleigh reached out and pushed lisa down the cliff!

"Ah! No!" The fear of falling spread throughout lisa’s entire body. She cried out in alarm and suddenly woke up.
