"Louise!" Lana shouted while she watched the area being covered by a dark sphere that resembled a fog.
She tried to run at her and check her condition, but Jake stopped Lana and then pointed upward… it seed that at the last mont, she jumped away and escaped the explosion, but then Jake noticed that sothing was off. When Louise landed nearby, they saw her showing a pained expression, and when they approached, they noticed that she had so holes in her arms and shoulders… like she had been hit by bullets that ate away her flash. It was quite the nasty thing to do...
"What the hell are those wounds…" Jake said.
"That dark smoke dropped on a bit when I ran away… most of it expanded when his body imploded, but so small droplets still hit …" Louise replied.
"So, it is sothing liquid?" Jake looked at the sphere that was decreasing in size instead of dissipating.
In the place Justin was supposed to be, they only found a large and perfectly round hole. The smoke had a magical presence, but after being used, it just disappeared, unlike the other types of magic that revert back to mana to the environnt…
Louise was able to heal Louise, but it was a very slow process since she described that her flash had disappeared instead of being damaged. Jake looked at the others fighting the third group of mutated humans… if all of them explode like that, then they truly will be in a bad spot.
"We killed more than a few of them already… so it doesn't look like all of them can explode like that," Jake said.
"Only Justin suddenly got stronger in the middle of the battle as well, so the enemy can't make them stronger that easily," Lana added. "Still, we have to be careful."
"Agreed… you guys should stay further away from the backline, just in case," Jake said. "That guy was targeting you in the middle of the fight against Louise, and now they also have more reasons to target her."

Jake held his sword tightly since he could see a lot of enemies heading toward his party. He had yet to recover all the mana in his sword, so he couldn't wipe them out instantly. "I need to be more careful. There are kids watching…" Jake thought when the upper body of the enemy fell to the side.
It was a bit late to consider that when they were in the middle of a war agaisnt other humans. Still, at least Jake had to try not to make things get too gory… Regardless, two other enemies approached Jake ard with hamrs, and they swung those weapons at the sa ti while mirroring each other horizontally. Still, in that short window of ti before the attack, Jake looked to the sides and then saw the other parties and Karina and Julian struggling agaisnt the enemies they were fighting. Covered in sweat and dirt, despite that, the cold of the area still was eating away the heat on their bodies… They have been fighting one hell of an intense battle for one hour. It was only natural that they would look like that…
Jake didn't want to provide more data about his abilities to the enemy, but he couldn't keep holding back any longer. Besides, that was the final push… after the humans on the enemy side die, only the target remains.
With those thoughts in mind, Jake summoned the dark flas on his weapon and made it move across the blade like a saw and then swung it… cutting the hamrs and their wielders at the sa ti and without feeling any Resistance…
