The shop list was upgraded whenever Jake finished a mission, and while before he didn't find a good greatsword with the amount of money that he had before, he probably could find one now, and the shop didn't disappoint him.

Jake nodded to himself in satisfaction while he looked at the sword. Putting its effects aside, the design was pretty sick. It was a bit smaller than the previous one, but the sides had so gravures that made Jake recall runes. Only that wasn't enough to make the sword deserve that title. Still, it was pretty cool.
Jake had decided to fight the enemy as soon as the sun rose, but he changed his mind. The effect of the sword would help a lot, and he wanted to master it. During the fight, its effects will increase so that it would be perfect for longer fights against the bosses. In the hands of those that are too careful, the skill would be even more powerful, even though that wasn't Jake's case.
"Well, now, it is high ti to go," Jake said, and then he began to cross the frozen dungeon.
During the ti that he was resting, Jake wondered why the entrance of the dungeon was on the base of the mountain. He eventually concluded that it was because the interior would be a lot larger than expected… He confird that the tunnel was also quite long. He had to walk for twenty minutes and find several dead ends before he could find the final part of the dungeon.
Jake couldn't help but frown when he found a winged frozen salamander sleeping around the crystal. Instead of a Salamander, it was more accurate to say that the monster was a weird species of dragon. Aside from its blue body and wings that apparently were protected from crystal scales from above and below, the monster also had so fearso claws and fangs that were as long as a sword. The monster itself was at least twenty ters long, after all.
On the tail of the beast, Jake saw so similar to a crystal sphere covered in ice spikes. Anyone who gets hit directly by that will end up with several holes in their body.

Jake blinked several tis while looking at the paraters of the monster… They were just too high… Stupidly high. They couldn't even be compared to the bosses he had fought before. He knew that the level of difficulty would spike a bit, but not that much… It was insane to the point that left Jake speechless, and few things could do that.
"I guess this third stage will truly test my skills," Jake said while showing a nervous smile. "Still, this kind of challenge will make a lot stronger and fast, so it will be fine."
All of s sudden, Jake began to wonder why he wanted to beco stronger… Putting survivability aside, he didn't have any reason to risk so much to obtain power. Since he was always fighting alone, it was clear that he could obtain more experience and coins than those who fought in groups. He had the upper hand…
"I wonder if it was because of those mories…" Jake rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I wanted money while doing sothing fun, but now…"
Jake decided to take those thoughts out of his mind. It wasn't ti to think about that kind of stuff when a monster of that level was in front of him. He had to concentrate in order to deal with the enemy in front of him. Even if he didn't have a reason to do that now, his current life was a lot better than before. So, he had to do his best to keep doing what he wanted, even if it seed aningless.
Jake enhanced his new sword with the dark flas and then stepped forward. At the sa ti, the enemy got up and glared at him. The boss sure looked intimidating from all angles, but it didn't stop Jake from dashing at the creature.
The frozen salamander fired several ice spears toward him, but Jake dodged them by sidestepping at the last mont. It wasn't hard to know where the spears would shoot at. One just had to keep their eyes in their direction once their point appeared.
Still, even when Jake dodged them, he felt a shiver run down his spine since they passed on his sides so fast, and when they hit the ground, they made the entire room tremble. Still, Jake kept moving.
Eventually, the boss opened its mouth and used Ice Breath. However, Jake protected himself behind his sword, enhanced with the dark flas. Despite the difference in magic power, Jake still managed to prevent the cold of the attack. Unfortunately, before he could do anything else, the monster turned around at a fearso speed and then used its tail to attack.
