[chanical Arm Enhancent Module - Universal Type] (Purple)
Attack Power 4
Defensive Power 4
Additional Effect: Active skill duration extended by 10 seconds, cooldown ti reduced by 5 seconds.
This was a piece of purple equipnt, but perhaps because it was just an enhancent module, it didn't have the high price tag other purple items had, costing only 1900 Atonent Points.
The two attributes provided were very practical for lee classes, and the additional effect was simple and direct, capable of further increasing output—perfect for a Hellhound's offensive role.
What was more critical was that this type of enhancent module could just be plugged into the original equipnt for use without losing the original equipnt's attributes, and if better equipnt ca along in the future, it could be removed and re-inserted.
Incredibly flexible. Ma Lu saw it and snapped it up, then continued scrolling down, initially wanting to also buy a piece of equipnt for the Bliss Bird, but couldn't find anything suitable after looking around.
Ma Lu took a liking to a wand but was a bit short on money, and the wand seed more suited for combat-oriented mages rather than healers.
Ultimately, Ma Lu decided to save the remaining 923 Atonent Points for another ti.
After all, during the beginning phase for newcors, the priority for healing equipnt wasn't as high as for offensive gear.
Having bought the equipnt, Ma Lu returned to the 19th floor, just in ti as Hook-Nosed Granny once again pushed the door open and entered, followed this ti by seven Witches.
The seven Witches' expressions varied upon seeing Ma Lu—so shyly lowered their heads, so stood tall and eager, barely stopping short of writing "pick " on their faces, and others appeared indifferent, as if the matter had nothing to do with them.
Ma Lu watched each of their reactions, then took the file that Hook-Nosed Granny handed over.
"These are their basic profiles, including their school performance and behavior. You can pick your preferred Witch based on this information," she said.
Ma Lu pretended to flip through it and said, "Too much text, why don't you just give a direct introduction instead?"
Hook-Nosed Granny frowned and instructed the Witches, "Co forth, one by one."
After listening to the introductions of the Witches, Ma Lu's biggest feeling was whether he had offended the Granny in so way, as otherwise, why would she have brought him seven Yun Ques?
Seeming to know what he was thinking, Hook-Nosed Granny preemptively spoke up this ti.
"For your safety, the batch of Witches assigned to you when you first beca Knights are typically top students from the school, and naturally, the rest are mostly average students," she explained.
She paused, adding, "Of course, if you're not satisfied with any of them, you can choose not to select, but even if you don't choose, the money you donated won't be refunded."
"Fine," Ma Lu could only perk up and try to find a hidden SR card among a bunch of R cards, or at least, uncover a low-starred war deity. Find exclusive stories on empire
Unfortunately, there were no colors flashing above the Witches' heads, and it was impossible to tell who was strong or weak just by looking with the naked eye.
So, maybe… just pick anyone to use for now?
Just as Ma Lu was about to take a chance, a thought struck him, and he opened up his built-in Chessboard Map tool.
Suddenly, nearly half of Holy Temple City unfolded before him, turning into a grid of squares.
The grid was filled with countless dots, and Ma Lu dragged the view to the square where he was located, then focused on the current floor and room, finally able to see the attributes of the nine people in the room.
He wouldn't talk about himself, but what surprised Ma Lu the most was the hook-nosed granny who was always serious and seldom laughed.
She was actually the strongest in the room.
With an HP as high as 121 points and an attack power reaching an astonishing 21 points, and as for her sin value, it was 0/195.
So she was a witch before? Why has she beco a granny, and even more surprisingly, taken off the Ring of Order from her neck?
According to the Bliss Bird, once witches put on the Ring of Order, they could never take it off, but the granny in front of him had clearly broken this iron rule.
Moreover, Ma Lu had learned her na from the map—Thorn Hawk.
Because Ma Lu looked at her a few tis too many, Thorn Hawk frowned again and asked, "Knight, have you made your choice?"
Ma Lu almost blurted out, "Can I choose you?" But he also knew that since Thorn Hawk had taken off the Ring of Order from her neck, she would no longer be at the command of a knight.
Well, perhaps the captains and vice captains of the Sacred Order of Knights, like Li Wei whom Ma Lu had t before, might be able to command her, but definitely not a new knight like Ma Lu.
So Ma Lu quickly shifted his gaze and began to size up the seven witches.
Most of them were, as Thorn Hawk had said, quite ordinary, until Ma Lu's eyes landed on a girl nad Ouroboros Serpent.
Her attack power was only 4 points, even less than Yun Que's before she switched weapons, but her HP was a little higher than the other six, at 61 points.
That still fell short of the Hellhound and Bliss Bird, but what truly surprised Ma Lu was her attribute of sin value.
Her maximum sin value was 5 points higher than Thorn Hawk, reaching a full 200 points, and Ma Lu also discovered she ca with as many as four skills.
Amongst a bunch of R cards, was there really a hidden SR card? No, with such an obvious top model of sin values and number of skills, she could probably be considered an SSR card.
Ma Lu looked through the Ouroboros Serpent's information again but couldn't find anything unusual about her; her grades, and past performance at school, were all fairly average, not much different from the six witches beside her.
Even the skills only had one registered.
This one... keeps a deep cover.
Ma Lu stroked his chin; he had co to this plane to collect ingredients, and he wasn't very keen on getting involved in complicated matters.
But the strength of the Ouroboros Serpent was indeed quite remarkable; most importantly, she fit the profile well. Her high sin value cap and so many skills obviously pointed to the mage's path.
If he could add her to his team, not only could he activate the Formation Function, but he could also fill the void of magic-based professions.
As for the low attack power, that wasn't really a problem either. If he wasn't mistaken, the weapon in her hand was probably similar to Yun Que's earlier one, the most basic kind, and this must also be part of her disguise.
Ma Lu looked at Ouroboros Serpent again and noticed that she was also staring at him, even giving him a sweet smile, as if to say hurry, pick .
Alright, as you wish.
Ma Lu extended his hand towards Ouroboros Serpent, "I've made my decision, it's her."
Thorn Hawk's face remained serious and emotionless; she showed no sign of any change in expression. She turned to Ouroboros Serpent and said, "You heard him, from now on he is your knight."
