"You weren't in the illusion that you could have him all to yourself now were you?" i i caught the hamr thrown at her with a smile. That gave her the answer she wanted, "Co now sweetie that is unrealistic."
i i wasn't here to fight, but to gauge what type of person Nobara was. And she was easy to read so far. She still had a child's naivety, soone who had yet to see how the real world operated.
"It can happen if he wants it to." She expected that response, but hearing it still made i i chuckle. Leaning against the wall, she tossed the hamr back towards Nobara.
"If he finds soone worth making that compromise for, then I suppose he will. But are you worth enough for that?" i i caught the hamr again and tossed it back without a change in her expression.
"Shut up!" Nobara threw the hamr again and got lodged into the wall behind i i.
Deep down Nobara already knew of this, but getting confronted on a topic like this turned out to be harsher.
Although Adam did tell her to make her to make a decision, he still did it in a way that didn't anger her. Adam had no way out of this either, which beca the worst part for her. In a way, he gave her more options than she should've had in her position.
He entertained her stupid conditions and went along with things the way she wanted, even if he had no obligation to do so. So, he must've done that for the others to. Naturally, he must've gotten close to so of them, and their relationship would progress as a matter of fact.
So, it was stupid to think that he would leave them for her when they didn't even know each other that well. That is why she never asked about his previous or current relationships all this ti. She always tried to put it off. But she couldn't run from that.
Unlike her, i i knew what she had to do. She wasn't one to impose such demands. She wouldn't mind if Adam had more won and she spared no effort to tell her that. But, this was the way she looked at this thing.
To her, any price beca justified as long as what she got was of equal worth.
"Tall, handso, rich, powerful, outstanding in bed, and can get anything I want. I may have used all my luck to have an encounter with such a man, and I am not in the mood to retry for a better one just because he has a few other won. As far as I am concerned, it doesn't get any better than that." Nobara grimaced at those words.
Each word was like a jab at her, and she understood why i i did this. She wasn't trying to push her into a corner. This was a simple thod to let Nobara understand what the choice was. i i made a compromise because Adam was worth doing that.
So, what about Nobara? Will she make the sa decision as her or will decide to test fate again?
"Get lost..." However, she took the third option and decided to not answer at all.
"Well well, would you look at that?" i i sighed watching her leave, "I tried to find an ally, but that didn't go as planned."
She wasn't here to harm her. Gathering information would be an apt way to understand her actions, and if possible bring Nobara to her side.
'The concubines of the kings did this often. So, I am not doing anything new.' Pulling out her phone she made a call ignoring the hundreds of ssages and missed calls.
The higher-ups were still crazy about the information about Adam. They were ready to pay an enormous price in exchange. But she had no intentions of sharing anything with them. i i wasn't foolish enough to let other people have a piece of the pie. That is unless they are special.
"Ui Ui, make sure to follow her. If she falls for an ambush, be sure to get her out of danger over yourself." Nothing could change her mind any longer.

The Wish Shop, ???.
Adam arrived at his shop a few seconds ago, but his eyes narrowed down to slits. He didn't have a good feeling. Like, sowhere soone was trying to fuck him over sohow. But, he couldn't do anything about it since he arrived at the shop.
More than that, the real reason he felt uneasy was because of what happened with Nobara. She didn't lash out, but he knew that with this that bridge was as good as burnt. If soone spent a day with Nobara they'd understand how her mind works.
Straightforward to a fault, uncompromising, and stubborn. These were but a few of her troubleso yet strangely charming qualities. But, because of that, he knew that things wouldn't work between them.
'I'll try to work on a backup plan in the anti.' He sighed.
At least with this, he could clear things up without problems. The longer this went on, the more troubleso it would be for both of them. Before Nobara made an impulsive decision, he wanted to give her clear options about the future.
After pacing around the room for a while Adam sat down to make plans. Whatever the result may be, it was out of his hands right now. He had to focus on the shop as another client may appear. But, he also had other plans.
"I can visit Rias and Akeno now." The mont he saw the pocket watch, he made his decision.
It had been a while since he saw them, and Adam had a few things to do there too. With a smile, he opened the door and made his way towards their world.
But, when he entered the universe Adam found himself in a different location instead of Kuoh City. The reason for that change stood before him.
"Long ti no see boy." The administrator of this world summoned him using his authority.
If so other Administrator did this Adam would be suspicious of their motives, but not with this welcoming old man.
"It hasn't been that long, I think?" Adam smiled.
"Our sense of ti is totally fucked anyway, so let's agree to disagree." The old man laughed. With the long lives they lived, years felt like hours to them. This lapse in perception did create so problems. But, now wasn't the ti to be talking about them.
"Alright, so what do you need to do?" Adam asked.
This Old man was hospitable no doubt about it, but that didn't an he had no hidden agendas. The pocket watch and he also ignored the tis when Adam went overboard in the world of the living. It felt strange because his actions shifted the fate of the world itself, but the Administrator didn't tell him off even once.
'If this happened sowhere else, they would've barred from entering.' Adam understood that he wanted sothing in return from the start. So, he played along, and today that ti arrived.
"As expected, I knew you would understand."
