As a result, no one noticed that Irene Rowe had disappeared without anyone realizing it.

Everyone’s focus was on Seraphina Sinclair; nobody cared about anyone else, after all, Seraphina’s life was worth five billion.

Of course, this was exactly what Seraphina Sinclair wanted.

She pretended to be troubled, raised her head and opened her mouth as if she wanted to speak, but nothing ca out.

The bald man waited too long and finally got a little impatient. He yelled at her, "Have you thought it through or not? If you have, then speak up!"

"I’m thinking, aren’t I? What’s the rush? Are you really afraid I’ll escape with all of you big n surrounding ?" Seraphina glimpsed that Irene had already slipped away, giving her more confidence in her voice.

After all, these people wouldn’t let her go, so why bother begging humbly?

"All I want to say is, if I don’t die today, none of you will have it easy either." Seraphina Sinclair has never been a sheep waiting for slaughter. Though it seems against so many people her strength was inadequate, it wasn’t without chance.

"Miss Sinclair, such big talk." The bald man looked at her disdainfully. This tiny build wouldn’t take more than a few punches from their group, yet she dared to speak harshly.

Saying this, the bald man waved his hand to the others, without a trace of emotion: "Get her!"

A group slowly approached Seraphina Sinclair. The nearest skinny man rushed up first, trying to grab Seraphina’s arm, but who knew that with her petite figure, she slipped out like an eel in a mire from his big hand.

He grabbed with force, only touching a corner of Seraphina’s clothes.

He obviously didn’t expect Seraphina to be so agile, and for a mont of distraction, it allowed her to break free from control.

Others didn’t imagine either that he couldn’t catch Seraphina. In their mont of daze, Seraphina spotted a gap and broke into a desperate run outward.

Her maneuvers left everyone stunned.

Logically, with so many n out to kill, an ordinary woman would be scared stiff, yet Seraphina not only ran but was surprisingly fast.

The bald man, realizing, angrily shouted: "What are you standing there for? Hurry and chase!"

"Oh!" No one dared to let Seraphina escape, they rushed in pursuit.

Seraphina, just a young woman, and pregnant now, couldn’t possibly compete with these n. No matter how agile and fast she was, she couldn’t outrun a group.

Before long, Seraphina was caught.

The bald man looked at her blush-red face from running, pulled out a regulation knife, and tapped it on her face, a wicked smile at the corner of his mouth, "Weren’t you great at running? Why not run now? You bitch."

Before he finished, he slapped her hard, the force so strong that blood began to seep from the corner of Seraphina’s mouth.

Seraphina’s eyes showed fierceness, like a sharp sword directly looking at the bald man, her red lips tightly bitten, refusing to utter any plea for rcy.

If she managed to survive today, she would definitely not let these people go.

"Oh? Quite the backbone." The bald man sneered repeatedly, "I hate won like you the most. What are you pretending for?"

He waved his big hand, and a lewd smile appeared on his scarred face: "Miss Sinclair is quite pretty, anyway you are going to die, why not let us brothers enjoy."

If she feared death, but hearing this, she truly panicked.

She would rather die with dignity than be humiliated.

"What do you want to do?" Watching a group close in, Seraphina couldn’t help swallow, her face instantly turning deathly pale.

"Isn’t it clear what we want to do? If you cooperate, maybe we leave you with a whole body." The bald man rubbed his hands, one big hand grasping Seraphina’s slender shoulder, sneering as he tore her business suit’s top.

Seraphina scread loud in fear, wanting to resist but her hands and feet were pinned down by several people, making her immobile.

"Desmond Fairchild! Save !" At critical mont, Seraphina could no longer contain her fear, screaming Desmond Fairchild’s na.

And who knows if the heavens heard her cry, just at that mont, she heard the blaring sounds of police sirens.

From the sound, it seed more than one police car was coming.

This sudden situation stunned everyone, but Seraphina showed a delighted face, indeed stalling for ti bore fruit.

While those n were in a panic, she quickly broke free from their restraint and attempted to flee.

The n in black knew if they couldn’t settle Seraphina now, not only would they lose the five billion, but also risk getting caught. Anyway, going all out, they decided to capture Seraphina as a hostage, perhaps making a run for it.

The bald man reversed his grip and seized Seraphina’s shoulder, trying to draw her closer.

He never expected Seraphina to be a fighter. Although her skills weren’t overwhelming, taking advantage of his careless underestimation, a shoulder throw wasn’t a problem for her.

With a bang, the bald man slamd to the ground. Wincing in pain, he realized his mistake and grimly told his subordinates, "Catch her, don’t let her run!"

How could Seraphina match this group of n, trying to handle them with punch and kick, but ultimately two fists couldn’t block four hands.

Just as she struggled and almost fell into their grasp, a tall and mighty figure materialized before everyone. Before they could ask who he was, a few n in black near Seraphina were swiftly knocked down.

Masked, Desmond Fairchild pulled Seraphina protectively behind him, facing dozens of n in black alone, his long, narrow black eyes glimred with cold light, his entire aura exuding a killing intent.

"Hold my hand, don’t let go." He lowered his head and spoke to Seraphina in a deep voice.

Seraphina gripped his hand tightly, tears gathering at the corners of her eyes as she nodded with a sob, "Mm, I won’t let go."

Even if the man wore a mask and hat, Seraphina recognized him at a glance.

Desmond Fairchild held Seraphina with one hand, ready in a defensive stance.

After all, fighting while holding Seraphina, it wasn’t convenient to attack.

Yet, he viewed these n with total disdain.

He wasn’t worried, but Seraphina was extrely anxious. She held his hand tightly, worried for him, "Desmond, if we can’t win, let’s just run, the police are here, we just need to break through."

"Don’t worry," Desmond reassured Seraphina, "As long as I’m here, I won’t let anything happen to you."

Seraphina trusted Desmond, but with so many people, if they were taken hostage and executed, what then?

Originally, Seraphina wasn’t so afraid, but after Desmond’s arrival, she was overwheld with nerves.

Not only for herself, but also for Desmond.

In such a critical mont, past events faded away, only their current safety occupied her mind.

Yet clearly, she had worried needlessly; she never imagined that Desmond, even while holding her, could cut through so many n, and not rely by running!
