Jude Sinclair’s training camp courses ended a while back, and he returned to the kindergarten.
During this ti, the excuse was that Seraphina Sinclair’s ntal state wasn’t good, so he stayed ho and didn’t go to the kindergarten. Now that Rosalie Quinn was back, Jude was sent off to the kindergarten by Seraphina.
Finally, when school ended at the kindergarten, Jude saw Desmond Fairchild waiting for him outside. He imdiately glared at him, puffed up with anger, turned his head away, and walked to the other side.
This scene happened to be witnessed by the kindergarten teacher, who imdiately said gently to Jude, "Jude, you shouldn’t be disrespectful to your dad."
"He’s not my dad." Jude didn’t buy it at all.
The teacher stood awkwardly in place, looking at Desmond Fairchild with a hint of inquiry in her eyes.
Seeing his deanor, Desmond walked over helplessly and amusingly, reaching out to pull Jude to his side, "Thank you, teacher. Jude’s mom and I have been having so disagreents lately, and he’s upset for his mom."
"Oh, that’s it." The teacher finally breathed a sigh of relief, she thought, these two look so much alike, like they were carved from the sa mold, how could they not be father and son?
Then Desmond ignored Jude’s struggles and brought him to the car, getting kicked hard twice by Jude during the process.
"Let go, you have another woman and made mommy angry. I don’t want you either, let down!" Jude punched and kicked fiercely, struggling hard.
Desmond, feeling quite the headache, had no choice but to hold Jude’s hands and feet down before speaking, "Jude, things are not what you think. I know I made Seraphina angry, and I want to explain and apologize to her, but your mom won’t talk to ."
"Serves mommy right for ignoring you! You’re lying to . If you really wanted to apologize and explain to mommy, why haven’t I seen you!" Jude looked at him angrily.
"Did you guys move? I went to Azure Cloud Shores and didn’t see you." Desmond thought about it and felt a headache coming on. Not just Azure Cloud Shores, he even checked hotels and other places, but there was no sign of them.
Jude finally cald down a bit, looking at him half-doubtfully, "Are you telling the truth?"
"Of course it’s the truth, when have I ever lied to you?" Desmond said earnestly.
"Even so, mommy’s been in a bad mood lately and doesn’t want to see you." Jude still shook his head, refusing to relent.
Desmond wasn’t in a hurry but guided gently, "Jude, see, the reason mommy’s mood has been bad lately is that she’s angry with . If I cheer her up and she stops being angry, wouldn’t her mood improve?"
Jude scrunched up his little face in thought for a while, and realized it seed to make sense, but...
"Alright, I’ll agree with you on that, but I need to take you to see soone, and if she agrees, I’ll take you to see mommy," Jude said seriously.
Desmond agreed imdiately, so Jude guided him to the place he had arranged with Rosalie Quinn.
As soon as they entered the restaurant, Jude spotted Rosalie sitting by the window and quickly ran over. Then he leaned over to whisper in her ear, all while pointing at Desmond, who was walking over at a leisurely pace.
After listening to what Jude said, Rosalie snorted coldly. The mouth of a man is deceitful — I don’t trust a word of it!
"Desmond, I’m telling you, your words might fool little Jude, but they won’t fool . Based on your actions alone, I will definitely not let you see Seraphina." Rosalie stated directly as Desmond approached.
Thinking back to when she was young and had t Desmond before, after all, Bayside City isn’t that big, and the circle is just so limited.
But she never expected that he’d turn out to be such a jerk now.
"Rosalie, what do you an by that?" Desmond frowned at Rosalie’s indignant look.
"I’m telling you, when Seraphina was abroad back then, she went through a lot. She gave birth to little Jude all by herself, her health wasn’t good to begin with, and she had to work to earn money while also taking care of little Jude, she was busy to death every day, her own health was like that, and I worried every day that she’d be overwheld."
"Fortunately, she gradually ca out of it and returned to normalcy. Now, I absolutely won’t allow you to push her back to how she used to be."
Recalling Seraphina’s past made Rosalie’s heart ache terribly, almost wanting to tear Desmond into pieces.
Damn man, enjoyed himself without caring about others’ lives, Seraphina’s past sufferings had his involvent, for sure.
Hearing her say that, Desmond remained silent for a while. After a long ti, he slowly opened his mouth, speaking with seriousness and firmness, "I promise those past incidents will never happen again, and this ti, I will truly and sincerely love her."
Rosalie looked at Desmond’s serious expression, feeling a little uncertain inside. Even though Seraphina never admitted it verbally, how could Rosalie not see it? That girl was probably already head over heels for Desmond.
If she really let Desmond cut ties just like that, she feared that Seraphina would be heartbroken alone.
Her emotional fluctuations these days were mostly related to Desmond, but she refused to talk, bottling it all up inside.
Sigh, as the old saying goes, a heart ailnt requires heart dicine to cure.
Fine, for Seraphina’s sake, just trust Desmond for this once. If he dares to break his promise, she’d make sure he pays dearly.
After another whispered conversation with Jude standing by, Rosalie concluded, "Seeing how serious you are, I’ll give you one chance. Little Jude and I will arrange to et her tonight, and it’s up to you after that. You only get this one chance to ensure she doesn’t stay upset."
Seraphina Sinclair had no idea that she’d been set up by her childhood friend and son. When she received Rosalie Quinn’s call, she naively thought she was just eting up with the two for a al.
When Seraphina arrived at the restaurant Rosalie ntioned, she suddenly realized this was the place where she and Desmond first ca to eat with Jude. For so unknown reason, watching the waiters move about, she felt an inexplicable sensation in her heart.
Standing dazed at the entrance, Seraphina received a ssage from Rosalie, "Seraphina, have you arrived at the restaurant? We are in room 520."
520? Seraphina furrowed her brow, suddenly unable to figure out what Rosalie was up to.
But since she was already here, there was no turning back, so she could only brace herself and push open the door to go inside.
