The sky changed in an instant.
One mont, the battlefield had been a frozen ocean under gray Arctic clouds. The next mont, the sea, the ice, and the wind vanished. Gravity shifted. The air turned dry and dusty. Broken mountains stretched across a dead horizon under a dark orange sky.
The enormous reptilian titan planted its claws into cracked stone instead of drifting ice. For a brief second, the creature looked around, confused by the sudden change in environnt. The radioactive glow along its dorsal plates flickered as it processed the unfamiliar world.
High above the ruined landscape, Tony floated beside Wanda while watching the displaced monster examine its surroundings.
Far below them, Thor pushed himself up from the cracked ground where he had landed after the sudden shift in space. Dust rolled off his shoulders while faint arcs of lightning still crawled across his arms like restless sparks searching for an outlet.
The titan's massive head slowly tilted upward.
Its burning eyes locked directly onto Tony and Wanda, hovering in the sky.
A low rumble rolled through the creature's throat as the jagged dorsal plates along its spine began lighting up one by one. The yellow glow deepened into a violent red that pulsed beneath the armored scales like a chain of nuclear reactors warming to full power.
Godzilla has registered Tony and Wanda as a greater threat than Thor.
Thor saw the glow from below and instantly understood what was coming.
"Dodge that blast, Stark!" he shouted from the cracked stone valley.
Tony barely reacted.
He looked down at the towering creature with the relaxed expression of soone observing a mildly interesting science experint instead of a city-leveling kaiju.
"In the end," Tony said while drifting slightly forward through the air, "you are nothing but a stupid monster."
The titan's jaws opened wide.
A violent sphere of red nuclear energy gathered inside its mouth as the glow along its dorsal plates intensified to blinding levels. Heat rippled across the broken landscape. Loose dust lifted into the air from the raw energy building inside the monster's throat.
Then the beam fired.
A colossal stream of crimson atomic breath tore through the air like a focused volcanic eruption. The blast scread across the ruined sky directly toward Tony and Wanda with enough force to vaporize mountains.
Wanda's red energy flared instinctively around her hands.
Tony did not move aside.
Instead, he flew straight toward the incoming beam with his right hand raised.
Thor looked up from the ground and blinked in disbelief. "He is not actually doing that."
The atomic breath struck Tony a fraction of a second later.
The mont the beam touched his raised palm, the golden glow across his body flared brighter. The raging torrent of nuclear energy bent inward toward his hand like a river pulled into a whirlpool.
The energy did not explode or scatter.
It flowed into him.
Energy absorption rippled across Tony's body as the beam poured into his palm. Scarlet radiation spiraled around his arm in blazing rings before vanishing beneath the golden cosmic glow covering his skin.
The beam continued pouring into him.
The air scread from the sheer power being pulled into a single point in space.
Wanda watched from a few feet away with wide eyes as the storm of atomic energy vanished into Tony's hand like water draining into an endless well.
Godzilla kept firing.
The titanic creature leaned forward and pushed more power into the attack. Its dorsal plates burned hotter as the beam intensified into a brighter, more concentrated stream of nuclear destruction.
Tony simply absorbed more.
Golden light crawled across his arm as the energy built to ridiculous levels. The radiation storm that could have flattened a continent vanished into the glowing center of his palm while he hovered calmly in the sky.
After several seconds, Tony tilted his head slightly, as if deciding the energy buffet had reached a satisfying portion size.
"Alright," he muttered.
He clenched his fingers.
The incoming beam stopped instantly as the energy funnel collapsed into his hand.
For a brief mont, the battlefield fell silent.
Then Tony thrust his palm forward. He used the power of the Reality Gem to make the blast unabsorbable.
The energy he had absorbed erupted outward in a blinding red-gold beam that dwarfed the original blast. The redirected atomic breath roared across the ruined sky and slamd straight into Godzilla with catastrophic force.
The impact hit like a nuclear hamr.
The colossal creature was blasted backward across the dead landscape as the redirected beam detonated against its armored chest. Shockwaves ripped across the ground and shattered nearby rock formations into flying debris.
The kaiju crashed through a line of ruined mountains before finally sliding to a stop across several kiloters of scorched terrain. Dust clouds rolled across the wasteland while the redirected beam faded into drifting embers of radiation.
High above the battlefield, Tony lowered his arm and flexed his fingers casually.
"See?" he said while glancing toward Wanda with a relaxed grin. "Recycling energy is good for the environnt."
However, Godzilla recovered quickly before roaring in rage.
Thor grinned as the titan hauled itself upright again across the blasted wasteland. Dust rolled off Godzilla's armored body while the glow beneath its scales pulsed like a living reactor warming for another round. The monster shook off the redirected atomic blast as if soone had thrown a bucket of hot water on it instead of a continent-breaking beam.
"Well done, beast," Thor shouted while lightning crawled across his forearms in brighter arcs. "You survive the strike of Stark. Now you face again."
He launched forward across the cracked terrain with explosive speed. Each step shattered stone beneath his boots while sparks snapped between his clenched fists. The energy inside his body built faster now, the divine power he had buried under years of reliance on his hamr finally clawing its way to the surface.
Godzilla turned its head slightly as the charging Asgardian closed the distance. The titan's massive tail moved before Thor could adjust.
The strike ca like a falling building.
The armored tail slamd into Thor's side with catastrophic force and launched him into the sky like a human-shaped artillery shell. The air cracked from the impact while the god spun upward through the clouds until he beca a distant silhouette against the dim light of the ruined world.
High above the battlefield, Tony folded his arms and watched the flight path with calm curiosity. Wanda tracked Thor's trajectory with glowing eyes while the wind stirred her hair.
"That looked painful," she said quietly.
Tony shrugged while watching the distant speck vanish into the sky. "He'll walk it off."
The sky above the battlefield began to change.
Dark clouds rolled in from nowhere and gathered over the titan's towering form. Static electricity snapped across the swirling storm while thunder rumbled through the dead mountains surrounding them.
Far above the clouds, Thor's body stopped rising.
For a mont, he hovered there in silence. The wind whipped through his blond hair while lightning crawled across his skin like living veins of white fire. The storm answered him instinctively. Thunder rolled louder as the clouds spiraled inward toward the center of the sky.
Thor could feel his divine power again. It was more powerful than ever. He opened his eyes.
Lightning exploded across his entire body in a violent flash of white energy.
"YES," he roared into the storm while electricity wrapped around him like armor.
The god of thunder dropped from the clouds.
He fell like a spear of divine lightning cutting through the dark sky. The storm above answered his descent with a roaring thunderclap that shook the world.
Godzilla looked up just as the glowing figure smashed into its back.
The impact detonated across the battlefield.
Stone cracked. A crater erupted beneath the titan's feet. Shockwaves blasted across the wasteland and flattened the surrounding terrain. A massive ring of lightning burst outward from the collision point and raced across the ground like a tidal wave of white electricity.
Dust exploded into the sky.
Thor stood on the titan's back at the center of the impact crater while lightning surged around him in violent currents. His fists burned with concentrated power while the storm above raged like a living creature feeding his strength.
"I AM THOR," he shouted while slamming another lightning-charged punch into the armored plates along Godzilla's spine.
The strike detonated with a thunderclap that echoed across the ruined planet.
The dorsal plates beneath his fists glowed from the impact.
They did not break.
Thor froze for half a second.
The titan's armored scales remained intact beneath the storm of divine lightning. The energy he poured into the creature rolled harmlessly across its body like water striking polished steel.
Godzilla turned its head slowly.
The massive reptilian eye locked onto the tiny warrior standing on its back.
The titan did not look hurt.
It looked annoyed.
"Oh," Tony said from above while scratching his chin thoughtfully. "That might be a problem."
Wanda stared at the battlefield below with wide eyes while the storm continued roaring around Thor's glowing form.
Godzilla's dorsal plates began lighting up again.
One by one, the jagged spines along its back ignited with violent red energy. The glow intensified rapidly while heat rippled through the air around the titan's body.
Thor saw the light building beneath his feet.
"Well then," he muttered while lightning crackled louder across his arms. "You still have so fight in you."
The titan's jaws opened wide as it turned its head back, targeting Thor.
A sphere of burning nuclear energy ford inside its throat while the storm clouds above flashed with thunder. The glow intensified until the entire battlefield pulsed with violent red light.
"Not today," Thor growled while planting his boots against the armored plates.
Lightning crawled across his body in violent currents. The storm above roared louder. Thor lifted both hands and forced the energy through his arms, the only way he could think to stop the attack.
A bolt of lightning erupted from his palms.
The beam slamd straight into Godzilla's open mouth just as the creature prepared to fire its atomic breath. The lightning struck the growing sphere of nuclear energy and forced the unstable power backward into the titan's throat.
For one brief second, the battlefield went silent.
Then the monster's mouth exploded.
A violent blast of red light detonated inside Godzilla's jaws and burst outward between its armored teeth. Lightning and nuclear fire mixed into a chaotic explosion. The titan staggered as the internal detonation forced its head backward. Smoke and glowing embers poured from its mouth while the nuclear glow along its dorsal plates flickered wildly.
Thor rode the shockwave and leapt down just before the explosion finished tearing through the monster's throat. He landed on the cracked ground several ters away.
"Ha!" He laughed while pointing toward the titan with fierce satisfaction. "How do you enjoy swallowing thunder, beast?"
Dust rolled across the ruined landscape while Godzilla shook its massive head and stumbled several steps across the shattered terrain.
'It's getting boring. Let's end this,' Tony thought as he flicked his finger and used the Space Gem to open a portal inside Godzilla's belly and released a beam of Power Gem's energy, destroying the titan from inside.
Godzilla's body began to swell like a balloon as Tony continued to pour more energy.
Thor noticed the sudden swelling. He thought that the blast unstabilized the monster's energy and it was going to blow up. So, he flew up into the sky toward Tony and Wanda. "That creature is about to explode," he shouted while thunder rolled behind him. "The energy inside it has beco unstable."
Tony watched the swelling titan.
Godzilla staggered across the shattered terrain while the glow inside its body burned brighter. The dorsal plates flared with violent nuclear light. Cracks ford along the creature's sides as the internal pressure climbed past anything the armored skeleton could contain.
Thor frowned while the lightning around his arms slowly faded. "If that monster detonates here, the entire world will be destroyed."
Tony nodded.
"Pretty much," he replied with a relaxed shrug.
The creature opened its jaws and released a distorted roar that sounded more like a reactor tearing itself apart than a living animal. Nuclear light leaked from its mouth and eyes as the internal pressure reached catastrophic levels.
Wanda turned toward him with alarm in her eyes. "Tony."
Tony used the Space Gem to teleport Wanda and Thor out of that world. He sent them back to Earth.
At the sa ti, Godzilla exploded.
The explosion tore across the ruined planet like the birth of a small sun. A sphere of nuclear fire expanded outward with apocalyptic force. Mountains shattered into dust as the shockwave ripped across the horizon.
Tony simply swiped his hand in the air as a wave of red energy erged from his body, freezing the reality before erasing the entire world and Godzilla's existence.
Then, he sighed. "I'm too OP. It ain't fun anymore."
