[A few days later]

Late afternoon sunlight spilled across the small outdoor café, warming the polished wooden table where Tony Stark and Wanda Maximoff sat surrounded by half-finished plates of pastries and a small mountain of snack wrappers that Tony refused to admit he created.

The street nearby buzzed with normal city life. People walked past with shopping bags, cars rolled slowly through the intersection, and the sll of fresh coffee drifted from the café doorway every ti soone stepped outside.

Tony leaned back in his chair while lazily stirring his iced coffee with a tal spoon that clinked softly against the glass. Across from him, Wanda rested her chin on her hand while watching him with a soft smile that carried equal parts affection and amusent.

"You have eaten six pastries already," Wanda said while sliding the empty plate toward the center of the table with a teasing expression that clearly expected a clever excuse.

Tony lifted one finger as if preparing an important scientific presentation. "In my defense, those pastries were aggressively delicious and therefore legally classified as irresistible food items under the Stark international snack protection guidelines."

Wanda laughed quietly while brushing a loose strand of red hair behind her ear. She said, "You invented those guidelines five seconds ago during this conversation."

Tony gave a slow nod that carried zero sha about the obvious fact she had just pointed out. "Correct, but the rules are still legally binding according to the highly respected court of Tony Stark."

Wanda reached across the table and stole a bite from the last pastry sitting on Tony's plate.

Her fingers brushed his hand during the small act of theft.

Tony paused for a mont as he watched her chew the bite with a playful sparkle in her eyes.

"You know," Tony said while leaning slightly closer across the table, "most people would call that theft of private dessert property."

Wanda tilted her head while resting her elbow on the table.

"Most people are not dating Tony Stark."

Tony grinned slowly.

"You make a solid legal argunt, counselor Maximoff."

For a quiet mont, they both sat comfortably in the peaceful rhythm of the afternoon. The kind of calm mont that felt rare, considering how often their lives involved explosions, aliens, or ancient cosmic nightmares trying to destroy reality.

Wanda broke the silence first.

"I was thinking about sothing earlier today."

Tony leaned forward slightly with genuine curiosity in his expression.

"That statent has historically led to very interesting developnts in my life."

Wanda smiled gently before continuing her thought.

"I think we should take a trip."

Tony raised an eyebrow while reaching for his coffee. "A trip, where exactly are we talking about here?"

"Anywhere," Wanda answered while tracing a small circle on the table with her fingertip. "Sowhere far away from missions and monsters and complicated responsibilities."

Tony nodded slowly while considering the idea. "It's been a while since we've taken so ti off."

Wanda leaned back in her chair while imagining the thought more clearly. "I an sothing simple," she said. "A road trip with everyone."

Tony's eyebrows lifted with amused curiosity. "Everyone, aning the extrely chaotic group of extraordinary won who have sohow decided I am acceptable romantic company."

Wanda rolled her eyes lightly at his self-aware humor.

"Yes, that group exactly."

Tony leaned forward again while clearly becoming more interested in the idea.

"So we take a road trip."

Wanda nodded.

"A normal road trip," she continued while her voice softened slightly. "Like normal people."

Tony tapped his fingers against the table thoughtfully.

"A minibus," Wanda added while picturing the scene with growing excitent. "We drive through mountains, stop at small diners, and sleep in roadside motels like ordinary travelers. Obviously, not right now. Nat's pregnant, so... Maybe in two or three years? We can all clear our schedules and just go..."

Tony smiled as he imagined the absurd image of his entire household squeezed into a single vehicle while arguing about snacks and music playlists.

"You realize Natasha will stop by every single shop to buy clothes and toys for our baby?"

"And Yelena will argue about the music," Wanda added with a playful smirk.

Tony chuckled softly.

"That sounds like absolute chaos and I am strangely excited about the experience."

Wanda reached across the table and gently intertwined her fingers with his hand. Her touch carried a quiet warmth that made the noisy street around them feel distant and peaceful.

"I think it would be nice," She said softly while looking directly into his eyes.

Tony squeezed her hand gently in response.

"Honestly," Tony replied with a quiet sincerity that rarely appeared in public conversations, "that sounds like the most relaxing disaster I have heard about in years."

Wanda leaned forward slightly and kissed him on the cheek.

The gesture was soft and unhurried.

Tony blinked once in pleasant surprise before smiling like soone who had just won a private victory nobody else could see.

"Dangerous move," he said with playful seriousness. "You keep doing that and I might cancel all world-saving responsibilities for the foreseeable future."

Wanda laughed softly before saying, "You would last two days before inventing a satellite-powered ice cream machine for roadside diners."

Tony opened his mouth to respond, but before he could speak, the bracelet on his wrist suddenly pulsed with a red flash.

He looked down.

The blinking light continued pulsing with urgent intensity.

His expression shifted from relaxed amusent to focused concentration.

Wanda noticed the change instantly. "What happened?" She asked.

Tony tapped the bracelet's surface.

A translucent holographic display unfolded above his wrist, projecting layers of scrolling diagnostic data and global scan maps that rotated slowly in the air above the table.

The screen imdiately filled with flashing warning indicators.

Tony's eyes narrowed while reading the data.

"That is not good," he said quietly while expanding the sensor display to full scale.

Wanda leaned closer so she could read the information appearing across the holographic panels.

"What's going on?"

Tony rotated the display toward her.

A bright red marker blinked near the northern edge of the planet.

"Massive nuclear radiation spike," Tony explained while zooming the map toward the northern Pacific region near the frozen coastline of Alaska.

Wanda frowned while studying the readings.

The radiation output values continued climbing rapidly.

"That level cannot co from any power plant or military reactor," She said after reading the data.

Tony nodded slowly while watching the numbers climb past several catastrophic thresholds.

"Yup," Tony said while expanding the scan radius over the ocean north of Alaska. "Because those readings are coming from sothing buried under a massive iceberg the size of a small mountain."

The holographic display flickered as the radiation levels suddenly surged again.

Tony's voice dropped slightly as he watched the data spike.

"Okay, that reading just jumped into the completely ridiculous category."

Wanda leaned closer.

"How bad is it?"

Tony stared at the screen for another second.

"Imagine the output of a nuclear reactor having a violent argunt with a supernova-level radiation storm."

Before Wanda could respond, the ocean satellite feed suddenly switched to live footage.

A colossal iceberg floated in the freezing waters several miles north of the Alaskan coastline.

For several seconds, nothing happened.

Then the iceberg exploded.

A violent eruption of ice and yellow energy blasted into the sky with the force of a volcanic detonation.

Chunks of frozen debris shot outward across the ocean surface while enormous waves rippled across the surrounding water.

Tony stood up from the table slowly as he watched the feed.

"That cannot be good for the local fishing industry."

At the center of the shattered iceberg, sothing enormous moved beneath the glowing radiation cloud.

The ocean churned violently.

Then a massive green shape burst upward from the wreckage.

A towering theropod creature rose from the freezing water with terrifying power. Its reptilian body glowed faintly with nuclear energy that radiated outward from beneath armored scales. Along its back ran jagged maple leaf-shaped dorsal spines that pulsed with yellow light like living reactors.

The creature threw its head back and released a thunderous roar that echoed across the ocean and through the satellite audio feed.

"MRAWWWW!"

Tony stared at the hologram with stunned fascination.

"What the hell is that thing? A dinosaur?" Wanda asked.

"Oh, no," Tony shook his head slowly while watching the massive creature step onto the shattered remains of the iceberg. "That's the freaking legendary monster from the Japanese Mythology... Godzilla."

AN: I found my old comics stash. Back in the day, Marvel did a crossover with Godzilla. They released a couple of comics. So, I just added it as a side story. 😬😬
