Yuri pointed out a reality to Buck, which was that he had already boarded the thief’s ship and couldn’t get off even if he wanted to.
Pulling the ladder after ascending is a routine tactic of the KGB, and Yuri was especially adept at using this move.
Watching Buck walk into the Compaq Building with slightly difficult steps, Yuri glanced at his watch and said softly, “Alright, we’ll go in ten minutes.”
Gao Yi also checked his watch. He initially wanted to ti it with a stopwatch, but the old-fashioned stopwatch was too cumberso to use, so he simply gave up on the idea.
“Are we really going to break in?”
Yuri responded without hesitation, “If Little Andic is indeed inside, it shows that the Red and Blue Group indeed wants to be enemies with the Garden. Therefore, Buck certainly won’t co out, and we have no choice but to break in.”
Everyone here is quite experienced, but with Yuri present, he generally plays the role of the think tank, as Yuri has proven with his actions in Ben what it ans to be truly ruthless.
“Alright, then we wait ten minutes.”
“No, we wait twenty minutes.”
Gao Yi looked at Yuri in astonishnt and said, “Didn’t you say ten minutes?”
Yuri, still watching the Compaq Building, continued calmly and confidently, “The ten minutes was for Buck. If we need to break in, Buck will be interrogated. Then, if Buck says nothing, waiting twenty minutes before entering won’t have any effect. If Buck confesses imdiately, those inside will know there are only five of us and we’ll plan to break in after ten minutes. When they’re guarding against us at that ten-minute mark and we don’t show up, it disrupts their rhythm.”
Gao Yi was not foolish; he just wasn’t used to using people like Yuri, nor did he like deceiving his own people.
Yuri was right, waiting twenty minutes was indeed more advantageous.
Gao Yi said solemnly, “There’s just one problem; will more reinforcents co here?”
“The Compaq Building is the headquarters of the Red and Blue Group, not the FBI headquarters. As you surely know, a headquarters isn’t a place always ready for combat; it’s where the Red and Blue Group conducts its business. They have public identities to cover up with, so the vast majority inside are ordinary clerks who don’t even know what they’re truly doing. So clearing out such a place isn’t too difficult.”
Dani scratched his head and said, “We don’t know the layout inside or the internal structure. We’re spies, but our current approach is like a reckless drunk. Even the poorest unit wouldn’t launch a frontal assault under such circumstances, and I don’t even want to ntion that this is New York.”
Yuri smiled and said, “So all the British can do is ss around secretly because when you really need to let loose and take action, you don’t dare.”
“You… never mind.”
Dani didn’t want to say more to Yuri, because he knew it was useless.
The Russians are like this; at tis they seem reckless, yet their recklessness often causes great distress to their opponents.
A few spies from an assassin organization breaking into a headquarters of an underground organization in the most prosperous area of New York is definitely not the style of assassins, nor the style of rcenaries, but it is indeed a very Garden-style approach.
Gao Yi was doing sothing no rational person would dare, and he was quite pleased with it.
“It’s been eight minutes; I don’t think Buck will co out.”
Gao Yi was seriously preparing to break into the Compaq Building.

Gao Yi pressed the stopwatch, and the second hand began to move, then they started walking out of their hiding alley.
Lucy walked alongside Gao Yi, reaching out to hold his hand, swinging it as if they were a couple on a shopping trip.
Yuri first walked in the opposite direction for a bit; he walked alone for so twenty or thirty ters, then stopped, mingled with the crowd to cross the zebra crossing, and after reaching the other side of the pedestrian walkway, he turned back towards the Compaq Building.
In fact, the distance between the four of them wasn’t too far; Yuri was only separated by a few dozen ters across the street.
The timing wasn’t so exact. They said twenty minutes, but between syncing watches and formulating a strategy, a few minutes were lost, so when they actually initiated the attack, it was about twenty-three or twenty-four minutes later.
The timing wasn’t that precise, and there wasn’t really a plan; Yuri had an idea, and Gao Yi just went with it, so everyone started acting.
