Noah stayed perfectly still, hidden in the shadows of the hallway, his eyes narrowing as he listened to the boy's final reluctant agreent.

"Alright," the boy muttered, his voice heavy with nervous resignation. "Let's go tonight."

Noah smirked, the pieces of the interaction falling neatly into place in his mind.

'She's working him like a puppet on strings,'

he thought, his smirk deepening.

The boy's body language was screaming vulnerability, hesitation, awkward pauses, and anxious attempts to deviate from the conversation.

'

She's a piece of work,'

Noah mused, a fleeting mory flashing through his mind of another manipulative person he'd encountered in the past.

'The parallels are… funny.'

Hearing the pair getting ready to leave, Noah made his exit, slipping out the sa window he had used to enter.

Sliding into the driver's seat, he started the engine, his destination the boy's house.

The drive to K-Block was short.

Noah parked his car in a spot near the boy's house and walked the rest of the way. Explore more stories with empire

The house appeared in front of him, and Noah wasted no ti slipping inside through the previously unlocked window.

His movents were quick and soundless.

Noah began a careful sweep of the house, not out of suspicion but to familiarize himself with its layout.

Each room was as mundane as the next—plain decor, mismatched furniture, and signs of hasty tidying.

'The parents are definitely away,'

he noted, though he double-checked every corner to confirm whether there was any uninvited guest with him.

Finally, Noah entered the parents' bedroom.

It was further down the corridor, tucked away from the other rooms. Unlike the rest of the house, the bedroom was neat and clean.

Noah stood near a shadowed corner, positioning himself where he could observe without being seen.

'Now, we wait.'

Forty minutes later, the faint sound of the front door clicking open reached Noah's ears. His lips curled into a smirk as he heard the voices of the boy and Natasha entering the house.

"Your house looks so cool," Natasha said, her tone dripping with honeyed approval.

"It's alright," the boy replied with a shrug, his voice barely hiding his nervousness.

Natasha didn't miss a beat, leaning closer to him.

"So, where do you want to chill? The living room, or…" his voice trailed off suggestively as he watched her hands reach for his hand.

Natasha blushed deeply. "Uh, I an, can you show around first?" Her voice tugged at his heart's strings.

The boy, flustered but eager to impress, began walking her through the house. "Um, it's a bit ssy, though. You know, since my parents aren't here and all. Just… don't mind it."

Natasha waved it off with a charming laugh. "Don't worry, baby. I'm not here to judge."

The boy spoke awkwardly, explaining the boring details about the kitchen, living room, and his own room's layout.

Natasha feigned interest with an occasional hum or gasp, her tone carefully designed to keep him talking.

Finally, they stopped outside the last door at the end of the hallway.

"This is my parents' room," the boy said hesitantly, his voice dropping slightly. "But, uh, we can't go inside."

Natasha's eyes glinted with sothing more than curiosity, though the boy was too flustered to notice.

"Oh, I see," she murmured, her tone thoughtful but playful. "So, where should we hang out then?"

"Uh, my room?" the boy suggested, scratching the back of his head.

"That sounds perfect," Natasha said, her smile widening as she took his hand and led him down the hallway.

From the shadows of the parents' bedroom, Noah's smirk widened.

'She wanted to know every detail of this house, and she's already thinking of how to use it.'

Her interest in the parents' room hadn't escaped him, either.

'She's gathering information,'

he thought.

'Well, I don't really care. Based on her actions, she should be here soon.'

A smirk slowly ford on his face, as he sat on the bed chilling on his phone waiting for Natasha.

...

Inside the boy's room.

"You can sit down here," The boy said, as he grabbed the clothes on his chair and shoved them inside his closet.

Sitting down on the chair, Natasha's smile deepened.

"So, what do you want to do," She said, fidgeting with her hands.

"I don't know, I an we can play gas or maybe you should give what you promised..." He smiled, trying to act confident even though he was clearly nervous.

"Sure," She said, bringing out a small pack with so pills inside.

"I got us so... we can enjoy our ti together," She said, winking as she got up from the chair and sat next to him on the bed.

....

An hour later.

Natasha left the room as a smirk slowly ford on her face.

"What an idiot, hehe."

The pills inside the small bag were indeed ecstasy pills, after giving him one. She sneakily gave him a sleeping pill and soon he knocked out.

Natasha pushed the boy's room door closed behind her with a satisfied smirk. Her lips curled into a smug grin as she muttered to herself.

"Let's see what they have here."

Her tone carried an air of arrogance, each word dripping with self-assured confidence.

"They've been telling to hurry up and get into his house for the past week," she whispered, stepping quietly down the corridor toward the parents' bedroom.

The room was barely illuminated by the light from the far end of the corridor. As Natasha entered the room, the darkness swallowed her, the blinds drawn tightly over the windows.

She hesitated for a mont, squinting as she adjusted to the gloom.

"Where are these damn light switches?" she muttered, running her hand along the wall near the door, her voice tinged with mild annoyance.

Her fingers fumbled over the cool surface, searching for the familiar shape.

"There it is," she said in a slightly excited tone as her fingers found the switch.

Click.

The room was suddenly lit up.

Natasha turned with a triumphant smirk, eager to examine her surroundings. But the mont she faced the room, her heart froze in her chest.

Sitting casually in a chair, legs crossed and a gun pointed directly at her head, was Noah. His lips curled into an evil smirk, the glint in his eyes sharp and shockingly calm.

"Shhh," Noah whispered, the sound soft but carrying an unmistakable authority as he motioned toward the door with the barrel of the gun.

"Close it. Quietly."

Natasha's breath hitched.

Her chest tightened as fear took hold, her earlier smugness vanishing in an instant.

"Who the hell is this guy? How is he in that idiot's house without him knowing." She thought, scared shitless.

She instinctively obeyed, her trembling hand reaching back to grip the doorknob.

With a soft click, the door shut, sealing her inside the room with him.

Her mouth opened to say sothing, but no sound escaped. Her gaze darted to the gun, then back to Noah's face. His expression hadn't changed—cold, and sothing about his expression sent a shiver down her spine.

"Good," Noah said softly, his voice calm but dripping with quiet authority. He gestured with the gun toward the bed. "Now, why don't you sit down? Slowly."

Natasha's legs felt weak as she nodded wordlessly, her hands raised slightly in a subconscious gesture of submission. She moved toward the bed, each step careful and deliberate as if she feared that sudden movent might set him off.

When she sat, the mattress dipped slightly, the sound deafening in the otherwise silent room. Natasha's voice finally returned, trembling and hesitant.

"W-who are you?" she stamred. "What do you want from us?"

Noah leaned forward slightly, the smirk fading from his face as he studied her. "The better question," he said, his voice low. "Is what

you

want. Breaking into soone's house, sneaking around, drugging… That's not exactly behaviour befitting a guest, is it?"

Natasha's heart raced as her mind scrambled for an explanation, but Noah didn't give her the chance.

"You see, I've been watching you," he continued, his tone still calm, but the intensity in his eyes made her squirm. "From the mont you walked into this house, you've been playing him. Acting sweet, twisting his emotions, all to get here. Am I wrong?"

Natasha's lips parted, but her words caught in her throat. She shook her head quickly. "N-no! I wasn't—"

"Don't lie," Noah interrupted, his voice sharp as the gun tilted slightly, just enough to refocus her attention. "You're not very good at it."

Her hands trembled in her lap, her earlier confidence replaced by sheer panic. "I… I didn't an—"

"Didn't an to what?" Noah's voice was icy now, his gaze boring into her. "Didn't an to manipulate him? Drug him? Or didn't an to get caught?"

Natasha swallowed hard, the lump in her throat making it difficult to speak. "I-I didn't drug him! I swear!"

Noah tilted his head slightly, his smirk returning. "You know," he said casually, "it's funny you say that. Because he's fast asleep right now. Out cold, in fact. Care to explain?"

Natasha's eyes darted around the room as she searched for an escape, but there was none. Her voice wavered as she stamred, "I-I didn't an to hurt him! I just wanted—"

"What did you want?" Noah asked, his tone cutting her off like a blade. "What were you looking for? Because I'm curious—who was pressuring you to co to his house for the past week"

Natasha hesitated, her breathing shallow as she weighed her options. She knew she was cornered, her mind racing as she tried to think of a way out.

Noah's smirk deepened as if he could read her every thought. "Let save you the trouble," he said, his voice dropping to a near whisper.

"I already know why you're here. Either you tell what I want to know or..."
