Soon, they made their way to the nearest village. On the way, Tyler was fiddling with the chip.

Because he used too much force during his battle, the chip was damaged.

That ant he couldn’t use Ace.

It wasn’t truly a problem since he had managed to do just fine without AI. But this was a yearly reward.

He didn’t want to lose it so quickly.

Thus, he was trying to see if he could fix it. He didn’t have a chanical Engineering Degree.

He knew this was made by his system. So, he wanted to see if it was all technical or the combination of technology and power.

Because whenever he used Aura, this wouldn’t damage the chip. Even when he used Fire Dragon Roar, its heat wouldn’t affect the chip.

This shouldn’t happen with a normal chip.

Even when he used Lightning Cloak, the chip wasn’t damaged. It was damaged because he struck the monster with his head.

This made him realize that this chip was made out of durable material, but what about the circuit board or transistors?

Did it even use those? What about storage? Wires? Signal receiver?

All of these things were so interesting that he couldn’t wait to take them apart and see if he could repair them.

That being said, while on the journey to another village, he was only observing it.

Two Days Later

He looked at the completely recovered chip with a dumbfounded expression.

It turned out the chip was made out of a material that could regenerate and recover itself.

He didn’t even get a chance to open it.

He wasn’t sure whether he should feel sour or happy about this. But eventually, he ca to accept it and asked.

"Ace, how much damage can you sustain, and how long does it take you to recover?"

"Sir, the material of the chip is made out of Adamantine tal. It is one of the rare tals that can be found on Earth."

"It was ford from the chemical reaction of the dead bones of the hunters and monsters."

"Surprisingly, this doesn’t take that long to form."

"This tal has a unique property of being able to recover to its previous state as long as it is provided enough energy."

"The chip is equipped with a special tool to absorb natural energy and convert it into the electricity that can be utilized by this tal."

"It not only runs the whole chip but also helps the chip recover if it is damaged."

"Because the chip doesn’t have the storage system for energy, it generally takes about five days to recover."

Hearing that, Tyler was surprised. He didn’t expect the Adamantine tal to be so unique.

But what surprised him even more was the fact that this tal could be found in large amounts.

"Ace, how can I access this tal? I haven’t heard about it yet."

"Sir, it is possible that this tal can only be found in certain mines. As I said before, this tal is ford from the chemical reaction of the dead bones."

"The chemical reaction is done by humans, using the bones of the dead hunters and animals."

’Wow! That’s quite a sinister business model they have.’

Even the bones of the monster could be sold. Although the cost of the bones wasn’t high.

Now that he knew why they were bought, he was quite impressed.

"As for why you weren’t aware of this, it’s simply because only those of Fourth Rank and above can access this information from the Hunter Association."

At this mont, Tyler nodded his head.

He could understand why. Before this, abilities and skills were like guns given to children.

Now, those children had turned into adults.

Of course, he imagined that only after reaching the Seventh Rank, they would beco trained adults.

Because even now, there were many restrictions he could feel.

For example, he could manipulate the skills, but he couldn’t manipulate the ability itself.

He tried it with Shadow Manipulation, but he couldn’t pull out his shadow using his Aura.

He needed to activate the skill for that.

He imagined once he reached the Seventh Rank, he would be able to do it. Now, he was getting more and more aware of his powers.

Fourth Rank was a benchmark for strength. It represented his control over his power.

Just when he was thinking about it, Ace’s reminder rang in his ears.

"Sir, we have reached your destination!"

At this mont, they stood in front of a desolate place. But it was more like a destroyed land.

The houses were destroyed, blood was spilled, and there was almost no one in the village.

"Ace, ca....calculate.....how many people can live in this area?"

Tyler hoarsely spoke.

The sight of this village reminded him of the incident from a year ago.

Looking at the village, the colors from his eyes drained. He didn’t cry, but it was hard to hold back his emotions.

At this mont, Rose walked to his side and clutched her hand.

She didn’t say anything, just stood there.

And that was all he needed.

Tyler knew he couldn’t stop monsters from hunting humans. For monsters, humans were resources, and wasn’t that the sa for humans?

Unless he obtained the power to obliterate the world and beco a walking disaster, he wouldn’t be able to stop humans or monsters.

This kind of sight was normal.

It’s just that they stayed in a peaceful and happy city for a year, so they forgot about this.

"Sir, there were 3500 to 4000 people city."

"Four Thousand!"

Rose also heard Ace’s voice. She clenched her fist as anger reflected in her eyes.

At this mont, Tyler turned back, facing his people, and said.

"From journey Eternal Forest to this village, it took us two days. But now, it shouldn’t take us long."

"So, let’s run!"

"Yes!"

Four of them shouted at the sa ti.

Six of them ran towards the second village. It wasn’t that far away from this village, but even so, they used their full speed.

Especially Tyler, who was running several tis faster than they were. Even if he wasn’t using Aura.

When he got closer, he finally saw the outline of the buildings, and at the sa ti, he sensed several monsters near those buildings.

He picked up speed, utilizing his second skill.

[Explosive Steps]

His body dashed forward even faster, appearing next to the village in a matter of seconds.

His eyes quickly scanned.

"Five monsters, two right, three left."

He calculated the position of the nearest monster, as there were also humans near them.

Fortunately, he had beco Fourth Rank.

[First Skill- Fire Dragon Roar]

As he spat out a huge amount of fire, he controlled them into five long dragons and used them to attack the monsters separately.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Fire dragons struck the monsters, pushing them away from the people and burning them with the intense heat.

When those people realized what had just happened, they turned their heads and saw Tyler.

Just when they were about to thank him, he disappeared, leaving behind a small hole in the ground.

[Explosive Steps]

[First Skill- Fire Dragon Roar]

Once again, he reached in front of seven monsters and released seven different fires in the form of a dragon.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

So of them were instantly burned by the heat of his fla, while others managed to dodge his attack.

’Three Street!’

He calculated in his mind and chased after those monsters. They were faster, but not faster than him.

His fire dragons engulfed them and burned them into burned at.

Of course, his job wasn’t finished.

There were at least hundreds of monsters in this village alone.

Many people were already dead, but there were at least around a thousand people who were alive.

So, he imdiately moved away, chasing towards another group of monsters.

This ti, he was facing almost twenty at the sa ti.

And, they weren’t easy targets either. Each one of them was a Street Level Monster.

And, they were backed by two City-Level Monsters. These two monsters hadn’t eaten any humans yet.

But when they saw Tyler, they freaked out.

As monsters, they could easily sense his power.

So, when he appeared in front of them, they instinctively wanted to run away.

Considering their levels, even his Fire Dragon wouldn’t be able to chase after them.

Unless he used Explosive Steps, but then, he would cause a lot of destruction in the village.

’Guess I will use that.’

[Fourth Skill- Lightning Cloak]

As he covered himself in lightning energy, he instantly appeared in front of those monsters, coating his fingers with lightning as he pierced through their bodies.

Splash! Splash!

[Double Lightning Cutter]

One of the monsters had his neck pierced while the other had his stomach pierced. But both of them drew their last breath as Tyler pulled out his hands.

He turned back as he stared at those monsters and disappeared.

Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash!

In less than five seconds, twenty bodies lay beneath his feet.
