Lukas was taking Annie to her car, which was near Nassau Inn, and neither of them was talking.
Annie’s face was flushed, and she looked like she was out of breath.
Lukas looked like he was a little tired, but his mood seed to be better than earlier this noon when he got a hundred million dollar contract offer.
"What a day!!" Ahaha, Lukas said, laughing out loud.
Annie looked at Lukas, who was laughing like a maniac, and she pursed her lips and smiled a little.
" Wanna grab a dinner?" Lukas asked as he was in a super good mood.
" Sure, hey, I really wanted to ask you one thing," Annie said with a light tone.
" Yes, I really love you, Annie, and we really are a couple from now on," Lukas said this, sighing, because this was the fourth ti he had to console her.
Annie, hearing this, smiled widely, then looked outside. The weather was nice, and as it was 8 at night, the whole city was bright with lights.
Lukas went to the ’Peacock Inn.’ This inn was perfect for having conversations and a tasty al. As he was parking his car, a notification ca from the system.

Lukas just paused for a second and then smilingly parked his car.
As Annie was feeling very tired, Lukas ran and opened the door for her and took her hand so that she could hold him while walking.
" Sorry, my feet are all jelly." Annie chuckled with a red face and walked with pressure on Lukas’s hand.
" It’s alright, just take it slow and give yourself ti," Lukas said gently as she was walking too slowly, but he gave her motivation while gently taking her inside.
The atmosphere inside was very good, there were families and middle-aged friends’ groups in the restaurant. The only young people inside were Lukas and Annie and so kids with their parents.
" Let’s take that table over there, it’s a little secretive and perfect for us." Lukas took Annie to a corner table, although there were people beside them, but they were mostly focused on the TV.
"Alright," Annie agreed readily, and then Lukas helped her sit down slowly.
" Order for as well," Annie said with a gentle smile.
"Alright." Lukas, nodding his head, sat down and looked through the nu.
As he was looking through the nu, a waiter ca in with two small plates. "Sir, this is complintary ’Amuse-Bouche.’ Please have them while you browse through our nu." The waiter placed two bite-sized, white-looking dishes in front of Lukas and Annie and then left.
Annie was curious about the dish in front of her, which was free and looked delicious.
" Eat it," Lukas said with a gentle tone, and then he was thinking about what to have, as money was not a problem anymore, so he was not restricted to ordering in budget, which felt nice and comfortable.
Guess I should go ho tomorrow to eat with my family again.
Lukas sighed! His emotions were a little haywire, he sotis thinks about his regression and his talent for baseball. Was regression the reason he got that talent, or did he always have it and fail to utilize it because he was doing sothing else?
Maybe everyone in the world has so kind of talent, and only a few get lucky enough to know it, like ssi, for example, and now maybe ?.
Lukas shook his head when he thought too much and focused on the nu he had in his hand, and he now had a pretty good idea of what to order.
"Waiter," Lukas called out to the waiter, then looked at Annie, who had eaten both of their complintary dishes.
Annie just showed her tongue playfully and then licked her fingers.
" Sir, are you ready to order?" The waiter ca and asked politely while bowing a little.
"Yes, everything I say just brings two of them for both of us: gravlax, steak au poivre, and do it well done, please, and for dessert we will have this chocolate pot de crè." Lukas ordered for the two of them and smiled at Annie, and the waiter left after writing down everything.
" So you got a role in this big-budget movie. How are you feeling?" Lukas asked casually to have a conversation, he realized he was getting better at starting conversations now.
" I feel actually great. In Pearl Harbor, they were suggesting a nude scene, so I kind of backed off but got this huge role instead, hehe," Annie said with a laugh.
" W... Why are you laughing? " Lukas asked, he was not sure why she would laugh about it.
" Well, last ti there was a person who asked for your autograph, I was so jealous. Now I will be signing autographs, and you can just look from the side." Annie laughed when she rembered how embarrassed she was that day, she almost thought that girl was asking for her autograph. (For Ref—Chapter 23)
" Well, about that, Didn’t I tell you ? " Lukas asked, he was pretty certain he told her about his baseball deal.
" About what, Luke?" Annie’s laughter died down, and she placed both of her hands on her cheek to listen to what Lukas had to say, she also had a beautiful smile on her face.
" So I did not," Lukas said while looking downward with embarrassnt.
How could I forget?! Fuck
"So tell now, what’s happening?" Annie asked, she was very happy Lukas was going to tell her about sothing really good.
" I kind of got into a baseball team," Lukas said that line as slowly as possible.
" You did? Congratulations! Annie was imdiately happy for him.
"Th...Thank you." Lukas was not sure how to tell her if she hangs around with him, people may ask for his autograph more.
