Lukas and Noah started to walk towards the place where Sydney lives, and Noah knowing where she lives was very weird for Noah to know.
"You’ve got a crush on her, don’t you?"
Lukas asked, he was not sure why Noah, who never gave a fuck about anything, would go out of his way and introduce a girl to him.
"Neh, you’ll see when you get there, maybe you will find the things she says amusing or horrendous, just don’t bla ."
Noah said, while shrugging his shoulders, he was, as usual, in his "don’t give a fuck about anything at all" mood, but he was enjoying his ti with his brother anyway.
"Alright, will her parents let her co outside? It’s already 9 PM."
Lukas asked, "Unlike people from the big cities, here people care about their children."
"Yeah, they will. She lives only with her mother, and her mother is sick."
Noah said, then pointed at a classic single-story, ranch-style house.
"That’s her house? Nice house."
Lukas complinted the white-colored house, which had only one light lit up. The area Lukas grew up in was a little rural and a little far from the coast, still, the wind was very chilly.
"Yeah, wait here in the streets, I’ll go and fetch her."
Noah, saying this, walked ahead and knocked on the door. A girl with a white tank top ca out, and seeing Noah, she smiled. Lukas could see this even from far away. Then she looked in Lukas’s direction and went inside. She ca out after wearing a coat.

Lukas, seeing the sudden prompt, smiled. He needed to donate money, that’s the easiest task ever. He could just go ahead and donate his entire fortune right now to get an SSS tier reward.
Noah ca back with the girl, and seeing Lukas, she blushed hard, her face turned red, and she was unable to look at him for a long ti.
"If you are wondering, I don’t like her at all."
Noah whispered this into Lukas’s ear, then said loudly, "I will leave you guys to talk it out."
Noah said this, left them, and walked a minute before finding a good seat to sit down and relax.
Lukas was feeling awkward, but he had to talk with her. She was too nervous to utter a single word, so Lukas thought it might be a good idea to start the conversation, otherwise, they might end up standing here till the sun cos out.

Sydney said with a smile that she was nervous, but she got an eloquent tone in her voice.

Lukas said casually.

Lukas was so shocked that he almost yelled. Noah, on the side bench, hearing his reaction from afar, laughed his ass off.

Sydney said, she was almost insisting.
"Tell the truth, why are you doing this?" Is this a prank?
Lukas asked if he was not buying anything from her if she was playing a prank, that was another matter altogether.

After she cald down, Lukas got to hear her reason: her other has a dangerous sickness that needs surgery and dicine worth $250,000, and then another in Europe that will need more than $500,000, so she went this way knowing that Lukas has tons of money.
"Sigh! You silly girl, you could have told that first, you almost gave a heart attack. Co tomorrow to my house, and I’ll prepare a $3 million check for you in your na so that you can do the treatnt with your own money."
Lukas said he has to donate anyway, so he will donate as much as he can.
"N... No, I will just take $800,000 and will return it.
Sydney said, puffing out her chest.
"You can take $5 million from as a loan or $800,000 as a gift, I can’t do anything less."
Lukas said he knew this girl wouldn’t dare to take such a big loan and would curb into taking his donation.
Just as he predicted, her enthusiasm was gone, and she accepted to take $800,000, which will be the minimal amount she will need to treat her mother.
"Okay, I’ll pick it up from your house tomorrow."
Sydney said she was very excited to get such a large amount of money, she felt like she was dreaming, and Lukas felt like System knew sothing like this would happen.
