UK:GSW Chapter 408 – Nagato's Data-Form Body, Konan: I'll Do Anything, Onegai~~
Uchiha Kei's Mangekyo Sharingan ability was no secret to those around him—at least, one of them wasn't. He frequently used a certain ability known as Heroic Spirit Manifestation, which allowed the heroic spirits residing within the ntal network world to be manifested into the real world, granting them the ability to act freely in reality.
However, this wasn't a system-provided power. It was a Mangekyo ability Uchiha Kei had created by combining his Sharingan with the ntal network system's properties. As such, it only worked within the signal range of the genjutsu network—or, if Kei himself served as the signal center, the manifested spirits couldn't stray too far from him in areas without the network, or else they would vanish when the signal was lost.
Its greatest use was to allow masters like Senju Hashirama to act freely in the real world—especially soone like Senju Tobirama, who could beco a full-ti research workhorse, adding brick after brick to Kei's grand blueprint.
This was the ability everyone knew best, and the one Kei used most often after gaining his Mangekyo Sharingan.
Thanks to his system enhancents and the ntal network's support, Kei's eyes were Eternal Mangekyo from the start—completely free from the usual chakra consumption.
But his other Mangekyo ability was unknown to others. He had never used it publicly; it was a trump card he rarely had cause to employ. Since he spent most of his ti staying safely in Konoha, there was little opportunity for it.
Most people assud he only had one Mangekyo ability—Heroic Spirit Manifestation. While so found that a pity, many thought it made sense. After all, that single power was already so overwhelming that in many eyes, it surpassed all other Mangekyo abilities.
Now, however, Uchiha Kei was about to use the power of his right eye.
Ga Datafication—that was his right-eye Mangekyo's ability.
It allowed him to target soone and convert them into a ga-character-like, fully datafied form—a skill that effectively altered the laws of the real world.
It lasted ten minutes and had a one-year cooldown—though Kei had already used system items to nullify the cooldown, aning he could activate it whenever necessary.
Still, since doing so required consuming precious system items, Kei rarely used it unless truly needed. That was why no one knew he had such an ability.
Now, the ti had co.
When the others heard Kei claim he could save Nagato, they looked at him in surprise. The elderly Jiraiya's eyes showed pleading, but before he could speak, Konan rushed forward, dropping to her knees before Kei. Desperate and sincere, she begged him, promising she was willing to do anything if it ant saving Nagato.
Yes—this had the flavor of a certain kind of "doujin scene."
If Kei had made certain demands, Konan would have agreed without hesitation—executing them to the letter, even going out of her way to "upgrade the service" to please him.
But Kei had no interest in that. With his current status, he could have as many outstanding won as he wanted—many of them of higher "quality" than Konan.
Besides, the won already at his side were more than enough. Kei had long since moved beyond such low-level pursuits.
That said, he wasn't going to ask for nothing—Konan's abilities were extrely useful, especially now as Main World Konoha entered a period of great expansion.
She was one of the shinobi world's rare talents in governance. With Nagato's long-term illness leaving him unable to act personally, it had been Konan who managed both the Hidden Rain Village and the Akatsuki—culminating in the infamous Six Billion Explosive Tags project.
As insane and wasteful as it seed, pulling off such a feat proved just how strong her operational capabilities were. This wasn't sothing that could be achieved with Kakuzu's funds alone.
Such talent was not to be wasted.
So Kei took advantage of her plea and made his demand: Konan would serve Main World Konoha for the next twenty years, using her abilities to help build its future.
She would be well-compensated—full salary and benefits, no deductions. If she achieved results, she would earn rewards.
The others were stunned. In the shinobi world, such a "punishnt" was absurdly light—in fact, it was practically a reward. It ant Konan would inevitably hold a position of authority, perhaps even wield considerable power, with excellent conditions.
It was like gatron declaring he would conquer Earth, then telling the workers: "You only work eight hours a day, rest three days a week, get two months of paid vacation a year, and a raise every three months. Your kids will be sent to specialized schools for free so they can serve when they grow up."
Hearing it, one might think he was recruiting top talent, not punishing soone.
Konan was bewildered. Was she hearing things? Dreaming? Even if she voluntarily defected to Konoha, she doubted she'd get such a deal.
For a mont, she even had the odd thought: Maybe handing the Hidden Rain over to this man would give everyone a better life.
Regardless, she knew she couldn't waste ti. She nodded quickly, agreeing to Kei's terms.
To show her sincerity, she even offered to accept a binding seal that would place her life and will in Kei's control.
To her, Nagato was her last family. And unlike in the original story, this Nagato had no peace, no redemption—only ideals and hopes crushed in the cruelest way by Black Zetsu.
She would grasp any chance to save him.
Kei opened his Mangekyo Sharingan, preparing to use his right-eye ability on the dying Nagato.
But just before activating it, Kei seed to think of sothing. In a sudden flash step, he appeared before Nagato—and, to the astonishnt of everyone, plunged his hand forward and dug out Nagato's Rinnegan.
Even on the verge of death, Nagato let out a cry of pain from the act.
Konan's eyes widened, fury boiling over as she prepared to attack—
—but Minato Namikaze, knowing his comrade best, recovered from his own shock in an instant. Using the Flying Raijin, he appeared beside Konan, sealing her movents and even silencing her.
"Forgive , Konan," Minato said apologetically. "Please calm down. Kei isn't harming Nagato, nor does he covet the Rinnegan's power. There must be a reason—he's doing this to save him."
That was unconditional trust.
Hearing him, the Main World shinobi cald down. Whatever they thought of Kei personally, they trusted his skill. If he did this, it wasn't to take the Rinnegan for himself.
Even the No. 2 World shinobi chose to believe—after all, Main World Konoha was the strongest ally they had.
Kei handed the Rinnegan to Orochimaru, who placed it in a special container, then finally turned his Mangekyo on Nagato.
In an instant, reality-warping power enveloped Nagato's body, rapidly altering it.
His flesh-and-blood form beca data, transforming into a ga-character-like state—
A strange being with a health bar.
As long as that health bar wasn't empty, no matter how severe the injuries, he wouldn't die.
When the transformation completed, a bar appeared above Nagato's head. It was less than one-third full, but not empty. His shattered, dying body vanished—no more pain, only surprise, confusion, and deep bewildernt.
"What… happened to ?"
"I thought I was already…"
"Where am I? Am I dead? Is this my soul?"
Unable to see without his eyes, Nagato could only sense emptiness and void. The weakness and pain were almost gone—lingering only as a faint reminder that his health was low, not that he was dying.
The sight shocked everyone. The change was so surreal it made the world feel unreal.
Those who had played the genjutsu-based gas instantly recognized it—Nagato now looked exactly like a ga avatar, complete with health bar and seemingly unshakable vitality despite massive injuries.
So Kei's other Mangekyo ability could turn soone into a ga character?
And in the real world, no less—blatantly rewriting the rules of reality!
Mangekyo powers were indeed both terrifying and wondrous.
Before anyone could react, Kei pulled out a pile of items—dical supplies. These were top-quality, but not system-made—strategic resources Konoha manufactured, which Kei could easily obtain due to his status.
Earlier, these would have been useless—Nagato's condition had been beyond the reach of dicine.
But now?
Anyone who's played gas knows what Healing Items do when you're datafied.
Kei had Nagato—now blind—held still and forcibly administered the best dicine inside and out.
Nagato startled, trying to resist, but though his data form could retain combat ability, Kei—as the controller of the datafication—could simply disable it.
Thus, the "strongest" Nagato was reduced to a docile civilian, drawing curious looks from the others.
Datafication could strip a top-tier fighter down to an ordinary person—imagine the implications in battle.
But Kei knew they were overestimating it. The power had conditions—chiefly, the target couldn't resist. Against soone at full strength, success wasn't guaranteed.
If Nagato hadn't been so close to death—consciousness nearly gone—Kei wouldn't have been able to transform him so easily.
Even so, Kei had removed his Rinnegan first to increase the odds. Leaving them in might have caused the ability to fail.
That was one reason. Of course, there were others—but those, he kept to himself.
In any case, Kei's Ga Datafication—privately nicknad "○ God, Activate"—wasn't as overpowered as they imagined.
With the dicine forcibly administered, Nagato's health bar rose rapidly—from the danger zone into safety, and then climbing toward full.
His injuries healed at a miraculous pace, as if ti itself were reversing.
