Li Yang hadn’t fully understood the purpose of the ghost face in his palm when a fierce impact hit his chest.

Suzu ramd into Li Yang like a runaway wild donkey, delivering a heavy headbutt that nearly knocked him over.

Li Yang frowned, looking down at the girl in his arms.

Suzu raised her tear-streaked face:

"I thought... I thought you were done for."

Suzu had predicted that Li Yang would engage in a fierce battle with a mysterious person in the future, a battle whose outco she couldn’t foresee.

Suzu knew Li Yang wouldn’t die soon, as the tiline hadn’t reached the battle with that mysterious person yet.

But if Li Yang lost his mind, how was that different from being dead?

Li Yang looked at Suzu’s small face, his mind drifting.

He seed to see a little kitten.

After his grandmother passed away, Li Yang was in deep sorrow, uncertain of his future or where he belonged.

That afternoon, while walking down the street, a little black kitten jumped into his arms from a trash can.

From that day, Li Yang had family.

The current scene was very much like that afternoon.

Li Yang instinctively cradled Suzu’s head, softly speaking:

"It’s okay, I’m back."

Suzu pouted and burst into tears:

"Please don’t abandon ! Not now, not ever!"

Li Yang wore a gentle smile on his face, reminiscent of the high school student he was years ago.

He seed like a good-natured boy next door.

He patted Suzu on the back of her head, pulling her closer:

"I won’t."

The Apostles watched this scene in astonishnt.

It was their first ti witnessing such a side of the Death God.

A... gentle Death God.

In their minds, Death Gods were supposed to be rciless and cruel.

Yet this caring Death God only made the Apostles even more determined to follow Li Yang.

Only the Crow had a knowing smile at the corner of his mouth.

Only Xiaohai showed jealousy in his eyes.

Li Yang looked up at the exhausted Apostles.

He showed no embarrassnt for his earlier display of tenderness.

Nor did he feel any emotional stir from the Apostles’ loyalty.

What lay in Li Yang’s eyes was pure indifference:

"Disperse."

His emotionless voice reached the Apostles’ ears, reminding them that this man was still the unattainable Death God.

The Apostles bowed down, one after another:

"Yes!"

After the Apostles left, Li Yang took Suzu’s hand and gently said:

"Let’s go ho."

Suzu wiped her tears away:

"I want a half-year mbership!"

Li Yang chuckled:

"A year."

Suzu’s face lit up with a smile.

....

At the Half-Mountain Villa in the South Sea.

Li Yang sat on the sofa, staring at the ghost face on his left hand.

After so thought, Li Yang channeled a bit of Spiritual Power into the ghost face.

The ghost face seed to awaken from a deep slumber.

"Uh... cough... ha..."

The ghost face’s eyes turned venomous, its features twisted, producing a terrifying noise like a broken blower.

Suzu, playing a mobile ga on the ground, jumped up in shock at the sound.

She looked at Li Yang incredulously, her gaze slowly moving to his palm.

It was that terrifying ghost face!

Could it be that Li Yang was going on a rampage again?!

Suzu’s large eyes filled with fear.

Li Yang furrowed his brow and lightly rebuked:

"Silence!"

The previously arrogant ghost face imdiately zipped its mouth shut.

Like a mouse encountering a cat.

Suzu let out a breath of relief, skipping over to Li Yang, reaching out her tiny hand to touch the ghost face on his left hand, pausing briefly:

"Li Yang, can I hit your palm?"

Suzu seed intent on avenging herself on the ghost face; after all, that damn ghost face had embarrassed her so.

Li Yang ignored Suzu, focusing on studying the ghost face’s function.

He sensed that the ghost face was the Necromancer Mask.

This was a Talent he acquired beyond the six bestowed by the Death God.

The Necromancer Mask could possess corpses and parasitize the living, and possibly had other uses.

"This Necromancer Mask appears to have intelligence."

Flas flickered from Li Yang’s right hand, which he brought close to the Necromancer Mask, attempting to singe it.

As expected, the slightly conscious Necromancer Mask reacted instinctively.

The ghost face opened its mouth and sucked in all the flas from Li Yang’s right hand.

Li Yang gripped his left hand, retracting his Spiritual Power from the active Necromancer Mask.

Deprived of vitality, the Necromancer Mask rely seed like an ordinary tattoo.

"As I thought, it would eventually reveal more functions."

Li Yang contemplated using the Necromancer Mask’s innate defensive chanism to devour enemy Skills when encountering formidable foes.

"I’m heading to the basent; don’t follow."

With these words, Li Yang headed towards the stairs.

He still had unfinished business.

The Celestial Race’s corpse!

The Celestial Race’s corpse could be fashioned into the most formidable Undead at present!

....

In the villa’s basent.

A cold, eerie light emanated from a massive Magic Circle.

The Array lay on the ground, exuding a ghostly blue hue, the complex Spell being a Hellish curse, continually flickering.

Li Yang sat cross-legged before the Magic Circle, murmuring Spells continuously.

Black liquid oozed from the Magic Circle, writhing slowly, as if it possessed life.

As Li Yang’s chanting accelerated, the black liquid, guided, poured into the Celestial Race’s body.

Suddenly, a chilling wind swept through, and the light from the Magic Circle flickered sinisterly, like a candle fla.

’Boom!’

Outside the villa, thunder rumbled, followed by a torrential downpour.

As if the heavens were weeping.

With the Magic Circle’s light flashing, the Celestial Race’s corpse rose, kneeling on the ground, issuing a silent roar.

The Celestial Race’s corpse underwent transformations.

Ribs jutted through muscles, enveloping the flesh.

The hands grew emaciated, with glowing sharp nails.

The feet thickened, resembling the claws of a beast.

Its body continually enlarged; the initially three-ter-tall Celestial Race’s corpse now transford into a five-ter-tall Headless Giant!

Despite kneeling, the Undead Giant’s shoulders touched the ceiling.

Li Yang’s right hand ford seals while chanting Spells, he extended his left hand.

"Roar!!!"

The Necromancer Mask activated, letting out a rampant roar.

An identical ghost face floated from the Necromancer Mask, imprinting itself on the Headless Giant’s heart, forming a tattoo.

Should Li Yang activate the ghost face on the Headless Giant, he could anchor his consciousness within it.

This was an added layer of insurance for himself.

According to that scavenging elder, ng Xing, the Lord of the Celestial Race was formidable.

In case his current Corpse of Death failed, he could revive using the Headless Giant’s body.

Furthermore, this potent Undead carrying his consciousness might beco a valuable asset in the future, offering greater utility.

Sweat beaded on Li Yang’s forehead, clearly exhausted.

He was unsure of the Celestial Race’s power in life, yet the current Headless Giant had reached Tier Six Peak in combat power.

"What should I call you?

Without a head, should I call you Xing Tian?"

Li Yang murmured to himself, then shook his head:

"Best not infringe on the War God’s na, let’s call you... Celestial Ghost."

To humans, ghosts were a source of fear.

Celestial Ghost, the fear of the Celestial Race.

After everything, Li Yang lit a cigarette.

All smokers were the sa; after exhaustion, a cigarette’s nicotine eased the fatigue, and the Death God was no different.

His mind slowly ticked over:

"The Celestial Race’s corpse from the Dragon Palace Treasury.

Should I take a trip to the Dragon Palace?"

He wanted to learn more about the Wandering Ones and gather more historical information about that era.

ng Xing warned not to visit the Lost City under the Great Pacific before reaching Tier Seven.

Li Yang intended to heed this advice.

The Undersea Dragon Palace might hold information from that era, and he could also check on the Dragon he had created.
