In the room, Clara Thornton dialed Eleanor Sterling’s number.
The call was quickly connected.
"Hello, are you having fun at the Quincy Family? Have you sparked any romance with Thomas Quincy?"
Eleanor’s teasing laughter ca through the phone.
Hearing her words, Clara felt even more like crying.
They did spark a fla, but now Thomas has been cursed by so unknown magic, and that small flicker was likely extinguished before it even ignited.
"Eleanor, we got married."
"Oh my gosh!" Eleanor was utterly surprised and quickly said, "You guys are swift, getting married secretly behind my back. Congratulations."
Clara instantly choked up, "But that mutt Thomas, he... he’s refusing to acknowledge it after getting what he wanted."
"What!"
After the initial shock, Eleanor imdiately asked, "What exactly happened? He slept with you and doesn’t own up? But didn’t you just say you two got married?"
Clara recounted all the bizarre events that had happened to her recently, telling Eleanor everything in detail.
After speaking, Clara helplessly asked, "Eleanor, do you know lanie? She’s the only one who can help now."
"I think I do. Hold on, I’ll call you back in five minutes."
Clara had always heard bad news, but now Eleanor was finally offering so hope, and her anxious heart imdiately felt relieved.

At the Keating Family, after Eleanor hung up the phone and headed out, Alaric Faulkner happened to walk in. Seeing her anxious expression, he imdiately grabbed her, "What’s wrong?"
"There’s no ti to explain, I need to find Wendy Carson to discuss sothing important."
After speaking, she broke free from Alaric’s hand and left.
Inside Xavier Keating’s villa, Eleanor and Wendy Carson sat in the living room. Wendy looked at Eleanor and asked, "Why do you have ti to co see ?"
"Big sister, do you know lanie?"
Wendy was startled, looking at Eleanor with surprise in her eyes, "She... is my ntor. Why are you looking for her? Did sothing happen?"
"Your ntor?" Eleanor didn’t expect such a coincidence; lanie turned out to be Wendy’s ntor, which made everything easier.
"A friend of mine has been cursed, can your ntor co and break the curse?"
Upon hearing this, Wendy’s expression suddenly beca serious.
"My ntor has already secluded herself; she won’t co out during her retreat, so I’m afraid it’s impossible for her to assist."
"Oh! What can be done? My good friend probably can’t wait any longer."
Wendy quickly reassured, "Eleanor, don’t worry. Although my skills aren’t as formidable as my ntor’s, I can still handle things independently. Let take a look."
"Okay, then prepare. I’ll go with you to the Quincy Family."
Wendy looked at Eleanor in surprise, "The Quincy Family? Is it that famous poison-brewing Quincy Family?"
"Yes, indeed, that Quincy Family."
"Alright, then I’ll inform Xavier, and join you."
From discovering lanie was Wendy’s ntor to setting out, it just took a few hours, and before they realized, the two were already on their way to the Quincy Family.
Though Alaric opposed Eleanor running around with her pregnant belly, he couldn’t resist her persistent persuasion, and ultimately had to accompany his wife.
Eleanor, Alaric, and Wendy quickly arrived at the Quincy Family.
