Mason Langley let out a cold laugh. "I know your daughter was dumped by Thomas Quincy. You must be quite upset, right?"
Yara Yates’ face darkened. "If you’re here to mock , then it’s unnecessary. I already helped you steal the poison last ti. We’re not connected anymore."
"Oh, not connected? You say it so lightly. When you asked to get rid of the Nash Family’s eldest daughter, why didn’t you say we had no connection?"
Upon hearing that, Yara turned pale instantly.
She gritted her teeth and snapped, "What exactly do you want to do?"
"It’s simple. I heard that Thomas Quincy’s newlywed wife is Eleanor Sterling’s close friend. You should have your daughter target her, draw Eleanor and the others in, so I can escape."
Yara let out a cold laugh.
"I don’t have the capability to deal with the Quincy Family. You know they are the most dominant poison-making family. How can I make a move?"
"I know you can’t, which is why I have sothing good here for you to use."
"What is it?"
"The Infatuation Gu."
At the ntion of this, Yara’s eyes lit up instantly.
"The Infatuation Gu by the recluse master perfur lanie? I heard it’s fed with various top-notch fragrances since childhood. Where did you get it? lanie would never give it to you."
Mason let out a cold laugh. "Of course, I stole it from lanie. Since she’s in seclusion, I had the chance.
She only has one disciple, Wendy Carson, managing things now. Wendy can’t break the Infatuation Gu, so it’s the perfect ti for such a good thing to co into use."
Yara’s deanor eased considerably, losing her earlier irritation and impatience.
"Even without that incident, I would have helped you. We’ve wanted to deal with the Quincy Family for a long ti."
Mason laughed ominously several tis and said, "I’ll have soone bring you that thing. Just make sure to use it well."
Yara nodded repeatedly. "Alright, I’ll be waiting."
Just before hanging up, she seed to rember sothing and asked, "By the way, where did you dump that girl back then?"
Nathan Nash and his ex-wife’s daughter had always been a hindrance to Yara. She had tead up with Mason to get rid of her and then beca pregnant with Nancy Nash, which led Nathan to marry her.
This was known only to Mason and her.
Nathan Nash had been searching for his daughter for a long ti but never found her. Yara was now afraid Mason hadn’t handled it thoroughly.
Hearing Yara’s words, Mason let out a cold laugh and said, "Don’t worry. I threw her in an orphanage in Lyria. There’s no way she’ll return to the Nash Family."
Yara breathed a sigh of relief, a sly smile spreading on her lips, "Alright, send over the Infatuation Gu quickly."
After hanging up the phone, she walked back into the room.
Nathan Nash had already left, and Nancy Nash still sat there with a gloomy expression.
Seeing her daughter like this made Yara feel a bit distressed. Her daughter should’ve been a shining star, yet a woman with no background had snatched her man away.
If it were her, she wouldn’t be willing to accept it either.
Yara sat down beside Nancy.
"Xiner, I’ve thought of a way to deal with Clara Thornton. I’ll definitely get Thomas Quincy back for you."
Nancy looked up at Yara and asked, "Mom, what thod did you think of?"
Yara curled her lips into a cold smile, "I just got sothing good. Use it, and Thomas Quincy will be in the palm of your hand."
