"What? This is outrageous! She took so much money from us and dared to deceive us!"
"Is there any way to contact that obstetric director?" Faye Sterling asked.
Rosalie Ray clenched her teeth in anger, "She has long left and disappeared, there’s no way to contact her. She’s probably feeling guilty, afraid we will track her down if the truth cos out."
Suddenly, sothing seed to occur to Faye Sterling, and she asked, "Mom, when Grandpa sent Eleanor Sterling abroad, did he give her a sum of money?"
Rosalie Ray squinted her eyes, recalling carefully.
At that ti, Old Master Sterling did indeed give Eleanor Sterling a sum of money when he sent her abroad.
She rembers how furious she was when she found out.
"That did happen."
Faye Sterling said firmly, "That obstetric director must have been greedy and intended to keep the child and threaten us for more money.
No wonder Eleanor Sterling found out the child wasn’t dead; she must have bribed that obstetric director with that money!"
"Exactly, that’s definitely the case!"
The two of them quickly pieced together the truth without needing to investigate further.
Faye Sterling’s eyes were vicious, "Damned it! I should never have let them go back then, should’ve dealt with Eleanor Sterling and that obstetric director together."
This way, she wouldn’t have been detained just recently, back then George Sterling stopped them, so they let her go.

"Mom, what should we do now? If Alaric finds out about this, I’ll definitely be kicked out by him."
Currently, Alaric Faulkner is extrely indifferent towards Faye Sterling, no better than a stranger, which makes her panic a bit.

Hearing Rosalie Ray’s words, Faye Sterling finally felt a bit reassured.
Back then, she pretended to have both children killed. Eleanor Sterling doesn’t know she took one away, probably still thinks Caleb Faulkner is her child with Alaric Faulkner.
Faye Sterling gritted her teeth, "Alaric seems to care about Eleanor Sterling. If this continues, Eleanor Sterling will easily replace in no ti."
