"So, who haven't you fucked yet? Because this is just getting out of hand." Seraph sighed, stealing out of the window of the carriage.
"Well, there's Vael... Lyra... and you. I-If you want to include you..."
Seraph's face showed Veronica everything she needed to know.
"You have: a hero turned teacher, your childhood best friend, and chieftain's daughter, THE royal family, a Duke's daughter turned into a pet, two Beastkin, a Goblin mastersmith, a zombie, a literal dragon, and a succubus. Is there anyone I'm missing?"
"Technically, two goblin smiths."
"Do not tell ..."
"My lips are sealed."
"So, are you planning on joining or sothing?"
"No! Not at all! I didn't even want a harem in the first place. It was Cass' plan, I rolled with it, and I don't really regret it."
"I was well aware of that. It just seems like every girl you spend a decent amount of ti with joins your harem without any issues. It feels like you're using that Charm skill or whatever it is."
"No! No. I've only used it on Tisha, by accident, and Vael. Uh... to my knowledge."
"And you're not attempting to pull into your harem."
Veronica shook her head in response. "Not at all. I-I an, it's not like I'm not interested in you in that way, but I won't force you into it."
"Hm. You do know I'm interested in n right? Tall, muscular? Or the small cute ones that wiggle at the slightest touch."
"Don't worry about that, Ver can fuck you gay!" Cassidy blurted out.
"You're not helping!" Veronica and Seraph yelled at her in unison.
"And then there's that. Soone keeps bugging to join the harem. Look, I do like you, Veronica. But not in that way."
"I'm aware. How uh... how about we change topics?"
"Yeah! Let's plan out a custom collar for Sable!" Cassidy interjected again.
"Have you been drinking?" Seraph asked, almost like she had a headache.
"Never touched a drop in my life."
"Ugh... This is going to be a long ride..." Seraph muttered, staring back out the window.
Veronica, however, leaned over into Cassidy's ear and whispered, "I want you and Avi in my office later tonight to discuss that."
"I can still hear you. I'm sitting two feet away."
"Impressive. Ver would've fucjed at that distance."
"Was she always like this? I feel like she wasn't."
"Honestly, I think I fucked her stupid." Veronica responded, finally getting a positive reaction out of Seraph, a light chuckle.
Though, Seraph was right. Amidst the awkward talks and even worse silence, the ride back to the Capital was long.
But it feel refreshing when they did, a mission successful, plenty of rewards, and so ti off from things. Right?
