Chu Mo glanced in the direction of the residential complex’s gate, and although he could see nothing, the image of that stunning girl with a troubled expression, waving her hand with an indifferent look, still ca to mind. He said casually:
“Just say I’m not here.”
“Yes, Mr. Chu.”
The butler took two steps back, turned around to inform the community security, and at that mont, Li Tingting appeared before him.
Seeing the hint of excitent and eagerness in her expression, Chu Mo teased:
“Had a good al?”
“Mhmm.” Li Tingting responded softly and pursed her lips, saying:
“I think…”
“You want to go back and share the good news of my reinvestnt with Dean Lu, don’t you?” Chu Mo finished speaking and saw the short-haired girl nod vigorously. He then instructed the head maid at his side:
“Arrange for soone to take Miss Li back to Fudan University.”
The head maid bowed imdiately and went to prepare the vehicle. Chu Mo turned his attention back to Li Tingting and said in an even tone:
“When you get back, tell Dean Lu that I plan to donate a teaching building and library to Fudan University. Another hundred million scholarship fund should be made available to all students of Fudan University. Co up with a detailed plan on your end, and if it’s viable, I’ll transfer the three hundred million for research funding and the hundred million for the scholarship fund within this week.
You and Dean Lu will have to work a bit harder.”
The Bentley slowly drove out of the garage towards the mansion’s gate. The maid helped Li Tingting open the rear door of the car. After taking one last deep bow to Chu Mo, she said with a sincere face:
“Mr. Chu, you are a good person.”
Once the girl got into the Bentley, the luxury car worth ten million disappeared from view, and Chu Mo touched his own cheek, saying with a wry smile:
“I didn’t do anything, and yet I’ve been given the ’good guy’ card.”
After he spoke, a faint smile lit up his eyes, and even his mood seed a bit brighter.
He took the phone from the head maid’s hand and called Zhan Bingxue at Bafang International, instructing her to personally go to Shi Yuan Entertainnt tomorrow to et with Chu Wen and Zhao Shuangshuang, sparing no expense to grant their wishes.
Chu Mo hung up the phone, stretched out luxuriously, closed his eyes contentedly, and then instructed the maid nearby:
“Bring the book from last night on my bedside table that I haven’t finished reading.”
The petite maid imdiately turned and left. In a short while, a slightly breathless Little Bell handed a book to Chu Mo with both hands.
He adjusted the backrest of the recliner, then casually leaned back in his seat, opened the book in his hands, flipped to the last bookmarked page, and browsed through it calmly.
The book in his hands, “April Travel Guide,” a travel narrative, recounted the author’s journey through the majestic landscapes of Hua Country. Having read a third of it, he continued where he left off, the protagonist of the book was visiting the Snow Domain highlands when they encountered a motor ho. The author was invited to tour the vehicle, prompting a lengthy exploration of its anities.
This midsized motor ho had been converted from an Iveco, featuring a cozy living room, a simple kitchen, a snug but inviting bedroom, and even a shower area. The character in the book quickly grew fond of the motor ho, and reading Chu Mo beca equally interested.
Chu Mo had seldom traveled far in the past and had little need for a motor ho, having only seen them in a few TV or movie scenes. But now, with limitless wealth, enjoying life and traveling were almost imperatives.
He already had a luxury yacht, a helicopter, several luxury cars, and even a private plane that had been refitted and was scheduled to fly from the U.S. to the tropolis that afternoon. He lacked for nothing, but when it ca to traveling far away, owning a motor ho indeed seed a very comfortable prospect.
Chu Mo put down the book in his hand, suddenly deeply interested in acquiring a motor ho, and the greatest advantage of possessing endless wealth was that he could buy whatever he wanted as long as he found it interesting.
He picked up his phone, opened a web browser, and started to look up information on motor hos.
One doesn’t know the full picture until they delve into it; he discovered that motor hos co in so many varieties, from the simplest ones costing tens of thousands for DIY modifications, to those worth tens of millions with all manner of living anities included, akin to mobile luxury hotels.
After browsing for quite so ti on his phone, Chu Mo felt a bit dizzy with options and was montarily unsure which one to choose.
Of course, following the principle that the most expensive must be the best, he ultimately focused on two luxury motor hos, each priced over ten million.
One, with a price tag of three million US dollars, boasted of being a palace on wheels, with a living space jutting out that increased the total area by eighty percent. It featured an integrated kitchen with stovetop, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, and sink all included, plus a built-in coffee maker and ice machine.
This motor ho even had underfloor heating, an interior pop-out bar, and a fireplace, and even featured a rooftop terrace.
The other, also priced at twenty million, had an appealing convertible lounge. With just a push of a button, a luxurious, spacious lounge appeared before one’s eyes.
As Chu Mo weighed his options between the two motor hos, there was a faint commotion at the entrance of the courtyard, but because his view was blocked by a large artificial rockery, he couldn’t see what exactly was happening at the gate.
