The buildings were being torn apart, and the houses were burning with fire.
The smoke rose into the air, and the ashes fell on the ground.
The monsters were everywhere, and the people were nowhere.
They were hiding, or trying to hide.
So of them were running, and so of them were lying dead.
So of them were trying to save themselves, and so of them were trying to save their friends.
So of them were running toward the monsters, and so of them were running away from them.
So of them were trying to fight back, and so of them were giving up.
The city was in chaos.

There was a lot of commotion.
It was utter mayhem.
