When they reached the capital of the Tartagia Kingdom, King Murmic’s zeppelin landed in the town square, causing all the residents to gather. The city guards imdiately went on high alert, wondering why a dwarf aircraft was landing in the square, but when King Vogir stepped down alongside King Murmic, the eyes of the townspeople widened. Their faces were full of questions as to why King Vogir was disembarking with the dwarf king, because as far as they knew, the two kingdoms were at war.

Vogir greeted the citizens and guards, but then they quickly ran with Murmic, Kresus, Lesnar, Thorena, Ard, Eva, Irina, and Hardim toward Kresus’s residence. Upon arrival, without any delay, Kresus imdiately led everyone to the room where Elr and Grethia were staying. Rosalind, Claudia, Pyria, Ainsley, Geoffrey, and Irwin welcod them and opened the door; then, once everyone was inside, they closed the door again and stood guard alongside Lesnar, who remained on watch outside.

Inside, Ard, Eva, Vogir, Murmic, Hardim, Kresus, and Irina saw Elr and Grethia already sitting on their respective beds, though they still looked confused and appeared dizzy. They were being assisted by Alicia, Milia, Mirea, Beatrice, and Adeline, who turned toward the door as Ard and the others entered. Ard and Eva imdiately approached Mirea.

"How are they doing, Mirea?" Ard asked.

"Their bodies are fine, but since they woke up, they’ve just been stunned like this," Mirea answered while holding Grethia’s hand.

"True, it seems they are still confused or their minds are a ss, probably because they’ve been asleep for so long," Alicia added.

"Let’s check on them," Ard replied.

Ard and Eva asked the others to step back and then moved forward. Ard imdiately examined Elr and looked behind his ear; it turned out there was a bulging blue vein, indicating that he, too, had drunk a potion to control him, just like King Vogir had when he was a puppet.

"Ard... Princess Grethia was apparently force-fed that potion as well," Eva said, having checked Grethia by climbing onto the bed and standing up just to see behind her ear.

"Yes, it’s the sa here; Prince Elr too. But since there was no need to use them yet, they were put to sleep in the basent," Ard replied.

"Hmm... let’s heal them," Eva replied.

"Yes, let’s go, Eva," Ard replied.

Without delay, Ard and Eva opened their dinsional storage and pulled out three blue potions. They imdiately gave the three potions to Elr and Grethia to drink. Then, Ard climbed onto the bed and placed his palm on Elr’s head, while Eva sat on Grethia’s shoulder and held her head with both hands.

The bodies of Ard and Eva, who both had their eyes closed, were instantly enveloped in a gray energy aura, and a brilliant light suddenly shrouded Elr and Grethia. The light was so intense that everyone in the room shielded their eyes with their arms.

Perhaps because of Elr and Grethia’s sitting positions on the beds, their bodies shook violently until their beds rattled, making loud noises. Their faces looked strained, their eyes rolled back, and their mouths hung open as saliva dripped out.

Ard and Eva were sweating to the point of dripping, but they continued to hold onto the heads of Elr and Grethia with bright light streaming from their palms. Murmic, standing next to Hardim, shifted over and whispered:

"What is this... what are they doing?" Murmic asked, confused because he didn’t know.

"Ssh... be quiet, brother. Just watch if you can handle this blinding light; they are healing your son," Hardim answered.

A loud scream erupted from Elr and Grethia, and Murmic and Hardim imdiately looked forward, as did Vogir and Kresus. Then, two red shadowy figures that looked like blood—and resembled the forms of Elr and Grethia—erged from their bodies, hovering above them before vanishing into thin air. "Thump," Elr and Grethia’s bodies instantly fell back onto their beds; Eva, who had been sitting on Grethia’s shoulder, jumped down just as Grethia collapsed.

Both Elr and Grethia lay unconscious, but their skin now appeared bright, and the veins that had popped up across their bodies vanished. Their faces, which had looked older than their actual age, beca flushed and youthful once more, and finally, their breathing began to return to a steady rhythm.

Seeing Elr and Grethia finally back to their forr selves, Ard and Eva let out a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat from their foreheads with their sleeves. Then, the two turned to look at Vogir and Murmic, who appeared anxious, confused, and clearly wondering what had just happened, while Thorena rushed over to Elr’s side.

"They’re going to be fine now. Let them rest for a bit, and they’ll wake up before long," Ard said.

"That’s right. Their bodies have been asleep for fifty years; let them recover for a mont," Eva added.

"Thank you... but just now... what exactly did you do?" Murmic asked.

"Good question. Could you please explain it to as well?" Vogir asked.

Without further delay, Ard and Eva recounted what had happened at the academy regarding the Dark Sect and the Orthus Empire when Emperor Ellard III, Eva’s father, was no longer himself. Their story was supported by Alicia, Milia, Mirea, and Beatrice, who also understood the situation. Vogir and Murmic listened intently, and naturally, they couldn’t help but believe it—especially after witnessing what had just happened before their eyes and seeing what Ard and Eva were capable of doing.

"So that’s how it is," Vogir muttered.

"I know you’ve told before, but now I truly believe and am certain. Thank you, Ard, Eva," Murmic added.

"You’re welco. Glad we could help," Eva replied.

"Now we just have to wait for them to wake up," Ard murmured, turning to look at Elr.

Suddenly—"ugh"—Ard spun around to look at Elr because he was squirming on his bed. His face looked troubled and his eyes were darting beneath his closed lids, as if he were having a nightmare or rembering sothing he wasn’t supposed to. Naturally, Murmic, Hardim, and Thorena, who were already sitting by the bedside, imdiately looked at Elr and watched him closely, as did Vogir, who moved closer to Elr and watched from behind the bed.

"Ugh... Lugerna... run... take the egg away... to the... north... the northern continent,"

Elr was delirious and said sothing, though his voice wasn’t very clear. However, Ard, Eva, Murmic, Thorena, Hardim, and even Vogir heard the words Elr uttered in his sleep. Thorena imdiately covered her mouth and her eyes widened, as did Murmic, Hardim, and Vogir; they knew all too well that daring to cross the ocean was the sa as facing a death sentence and ant they certainly would not be able to return. Furthermore, according to Elr in his dream, Lugerna had crossed over while carrying the Githiess egg.

"Sister Lugerna went to the continent across the sea?" Thorena asked, her voice trembling and shaken.

"It’s impossible... no one can cross over there... what has beco of my daughter," Murmic added, looking down with a face full of sorrow.

"Hey... don’t lose hope yet, brother. Stay strong. I’m sure Lugerna is alright," Hardim said, gripping Murmic’s shoulder, though his voice also made it clear he wasn’t certain of Lugerna’s fate.

"This is... heavy and completely nonsensical... I don’t even know what to say," Vogir said, bowing his head.

Ard and Eva looked at each other, then turned back to see Alicia, Milia, Mirea, Beatrice, Adeline, and Irina, who imdiately nodded in response, even though everyone’s faces looked tense. Then Ard and Eva turned to face Vogir, Murmic, Hardim, and Thorena.

"Once we get a clear account from Elr and Grethia about what happened 50 years ago, I, Eva, and my friends will cross the ocean to the continent on the other side," Ard said.

"That’s right, so please give us permission to go," Eva added.

"But no one can cross the ocean. Lucathan will not allow it, and if anyone dares to break her law, she will make seafaring ships and airships vanish without a trace or a single scrap left behind," Hardim said.

"It is true. The goddess Lucathan would not make an exception for you; since ancient tis, no one has ever returned if they dared to try and cross the sea," Murmic added.

"It would be best if you didn’t push yourselves, and we cannot possibly violate the rules made by the goddess," Vogir added.

"Fine, then let us go to the seashore. We will speak to Lucathan," Ard said.

Hearing Ard’s words, Hardim, Murmic, Vogir, and Thorena imdiately stared at him with wide eyes as if he had grown two heads. anwhile, Eva just nodded beside Ard with her arms folded across her chest. Alicia, Milia, Mirea, and Beatrice looked completely relaxed since they had already t Lucathan before, while Adeline and Irina simply smiled; even though they didn’t quite understand, they were just happy at the thought of riding an airship across the sea.
