"Jo-Pil, are you really considering going to see a therapist?" Seo-Jun asked.

Jie-Yu had returned to her room and Cha Hyun-woo had resud patching up my elbow when Seo-Jun, who had pondered on her words deeply, asked this.

"Why not?" I asked and then saw the disturbed expression on her face. I rembered that Seo-Jun had visited a therapist before when his sexualizing problem began, but it didn’t help much, and he ran away from it.

But this problem was different from his. I don’t think I have anything to worry about if I go to an experienced therapist.

Ah, on that note, what do I even tell the therapist that doesn’t make him conclude that I’m just a crazy person seeking attention?

This is hard.

The reason I never thought about going to a therapist despite all I’ve been through is that it’s hard to explain to them.

Especially so when there’s no evidence.

"Jo-Pil," Ki-hoon asked. "You need to think this through properly and don’t decide on a whim. Do you really want to go to a therapist?"

I looked at Ki-hoon. He looked just as disturbed as Seo-Jun. How is it? Did he also visit the therapist with no luck? Was it after his father died by his hand?

"I think I’d like to give it a chance," I said to him, my hands resting on my lap gently. "But maybe not right now. After your cooperation is done."

I would hate to have to be down and under the weather when a big event in the plot was coming soon.

I wanted to be present and ready for action.

But more than that, I wanted to give myself so ti.

Who knows? This might be a once in a life ti occurrence.

But for the sake of Jie-Yu, who was worried for my safety and ntal well-being, I would have to go.

"In the anti," I reached for Ki-hoon’s shirt and pinched it, trying to get his attention softly, and mumbled. "You guys shouldn’t leave alone to myself."

If they were by my side when I slept, maybe I wouldn’t end up harming Jie-Yu or soone else subconsciously again.

They could stop .

I looked up at Ki-hoon and saw the blush on his cheek. The others held the sa blush, as if they were looking at sothing absolutely adorable it was hard to look away from.

It made feel shy and I looked away, brushing the back of my neck. But then I noticed Hyun-woo also had a blush on his cheek.

Though the others wouldn’t be able to see because he was bowing his head, did he really have a death wish?

He was bold, I’ll give him that.

But quite reckless.

Maybe he wants us to get a new doctor.

"Of course," Ki-hoon answered, covering his face as he glanced away shyly. "I’ll stay by your side, Jo-Pil."

" too," Seo-Jun added. "I’ll stay by your side so you don’t have to worry and sleep in peace."

", too, Hyung. too." Min-Cheol added and I smiled.

Yes, but maybe having all three of them next to would be too much.

This reminded of that ti after I woke up from my coma. They surrounded because they didn’t want to wake up and see that I had once again fallen into a coma.

Or realize that all of it had been a dream.

"Thank you," I said, my voice soft and warm. I clutched the robe lightly. "You guys take such good care of ."

"As we should," Seo-Jun said. "We may have many more shortcomings, but we’ll definitely make up for it with our numbers."

Yeah, your numbers would definitely make up for it. I thought and laughed.

"You should be healed by the morning." Cha Hyun-woo said to and I nodded. "Lucky, the scraps aren’t serious."

You know, with their advanced technology, it was very possible for a wound like scraps to heal by the morning.

They were no different from bruises.

"Will it leave a scar?" Ki-hoon asked but he shook his head.

"Fortunately, no." He said and took a look at .

If I were him, I’d stop staring because Seo-Jun already had his eyes on him.

"If you discover you have a problem sleeping, just let know and I’ll prescribe a sleeping dose for you." He said. "In the anti, you should just relax and try not to think too much since that will affect your health."

I nodded at each of his words.

"Then, if there’s nothing else, I’ll get going." He said, bowing his head slightly, and began to head out.

As he walked out, Seo-Jun kept his eyes suspiciously on him. You know, Seo-Jun has such keen insight that he can pick up one or two just from a few hints.

Still... He’d like to believe he was wrong this ti.

I thought it would just end there but then Seo-Jun said,

"I’ll see you out."

I paused for a mont. That didn’t sound like anything good.

If Cha Hyun-woo ssed up then it might just be the end for him.

"Ahem," I cleared my throat and they turned to .

"What’s wrong? Does your throat hurt?"

"Are you having a cold?"

They were worried instantly but I shook my head.

"No, I’m fine. I just had sothing to say," I waved it off, smiling awkwardly. "Doc,"

"Yes?"

"Can you please check on Little Min?" I asked and Min-Cheol blinked, surprised. "It was so chaotic but I rember what I did at the end." I turned to Min-Cheol. "The back of your neck... How is it doing?"

"Ah," Min-Cheol exclaid and then rubbed it. "I don’t feel anything. It’s nothing to worry about, Hyung." he smiled.

He might say that, but I rember dropping the chair on him. It can’t be anything.

"Still, I insist," I said, and then patted on the side of the bed next to . "Co and sit."

Seeing that I was asking him to co sit, even if he wanted to argue that it was nothing, he didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to sit next to , so he obediently ca to sit.

"I’ll check now." Cha Hyun-woo said. "Could you take off your shirt and turn around?"

Min-Cheol was reluctant and said to .

"I’m really fine, Hyung."

"If it were , would you let be just because I say I’m fine?" I asked, and that proved the end of the discussion.

He turned around, crossing his legs on the bed, and then took off his shirt.

A gasp escaped my lips and I stared with a disturbed expression. There was a heavy and dark bruise on the back of his neck where the chair had fallen.

"It’s a relief it didn’t affect his spine." Cha Hyun-woo said. "That could’ve been bad. But this isn’t good either." He touched the bruise but Min-Cheol did not move, as if he couldn’t feel anything. "Does it hurt?"

"No, it doesn’t." He answered and that made my heart ache.

My eyebrows furrowed and my forehead creased, knowing I had done this to him.

"It’s a good thing the damage wasn’t any lower. That would’ve caused a lot of issues. Right now, you might be numb to the pain because of the nerves being damaged but it’s not sothing too worriso." Hyun-woo said and started taking out a few things from his bag. "I don’t have what I need to treat you here. You need painkillers, because once the nerves begin to co back, you’ll be in a lot of pain to the point you can’t move your neck. I’m thinking of getting a neck brace for you so you don’t move your neck unnecessarily as well."

"All that and it doesn’t even hurt," Min-Cheol said, snorting with discontent. "You’re just making Hyung worry unnecessarily."

"But that’s how grave the situation is." Cha Hyun-woo said. "You’ll have to co with to the hospital for now so I can run further tests to make sure the nerve tissues weren’t completely broken and there was no further effect on your spinal cord. I’ll also administer active painkillers and then the neck brace. When you get back, you can apply an ice compress to help feel better and..."

Cha Hyun-woo kept talking on and on and on and I could tell that this was not a simple issue.

The neck is important for a human being to function.

With such a wound, his life could be threatened. And with the slightest mistake, he could beco a cripple.

This... This was all my fault.

"I’m really sorry, Little min," I said, taking his hand into mine.

"Please don’t apologize, Hyung. I told you I’m fine." He said but I began to snifle, my eyes tearing up gradually.

"What do you an you’re fine? Just look at the state you’re in." I cried. "You don’t even feel the pain because it numbed your nerves for a while. It would’ve been very bad if the chair had fallen any lower. I caused this. I’m so sorry."

Min-Cheol pulled closer, hugged , and planted a kiss on my forehead.

"It’s going to be fine, Hyung." He smiled. "It’s not like I’m a weakling. Nothing’s going to happen to ."

Though his words were reassuring, I couldn’t help but shed more tears.
