Seo-Jun looked at and I looked back at him. The expression on his face was plain and the look in his eyes was blank.
He wasn’t showing any emotion, as if he had prepared himself knowing I was heading for the dining table.
"Everyone’s busy," he suddenly said and I gulped, my throat feeling sowhat itchy.

Seo-Jun observed for a while instead of giving the response I was waiting for. It got feeling antsy.

"They’re not skipping als." He finally answered. "They’re just not having it together. Why would they? They weren’t exactly buddy-buddy before you arrived, so this is the norm." He picked up his glass of red wine and slowly pulled it to his lips. "It only beca a ss after you arrived."

I wasn’t joining them for dinner so they probably had no reason to eat together. And since they could only see for a while in the day, they didn’t even need to remain in the mansion either.
Before I ca into the picture, there was no vivid relationship between the four Alphas and nothing connected him besides their titles and their businesses.

Because of that surprise current, I felt a sprain on my ankle and nearly fell. Even with the exercises I was active in, it still didn’t feel the sa as using my legs normally.

It also seed like he was being cautious of my back so he wouldn’t cause any harm.

But from the way I saw it, Seo-Jun did not know what to say. He was out of words.
What was he trying to say that it felt so hard to form words? What was it that was making him so cautious when choosing the words to say?
"I’ll try." He suddenly said and my eyes widened. "I’m not telling you I’ll be a better person. I... I’ll still be like this. But I’ll try... Not to hurt you when all you want to do is survive." He said and then let go of my waist, freeing my hands gently and slowly.
I stared at him in disbelief. Had I just heard what I thought I heard, or was I in so kind of dream?
Seo-Jun just... With that ek expression on his face that was so not like him... He just said he’d try?
