Jin-Yeok walked closer and then saw Min-Cheol in my arms, hugging like a baby bear. His eyes slightly twitched, but he did his best to hide it and said to ,
"Yes, it’s done."
Wait, co to think of it, I doubt these jealous Alphas would let the people in the viewing room watch as I sleep or as I bathe. They would blind them if they did. So, was the cara in my room connected to their own devices instead?
Wow, I felt chills run down my spine, and the hair on my body stood erect.
They were acting like stalkers now.
I hadn’t confird it, but I would have a lot of chances in the future.
For now, I could just stick to my intuition.
"What’s wrong with him?" Jin-Yeok asked, and I smiled, brushing Min-Cheol’s hair with my fingers.
"Little Min feels tired and has sothing weighing on his heart. I’m just waiting to hear what he has to say," I said and looked up again, only to find Jin-Yeok’s face very close to mine.
It took by surprise, and sweat dropped down the corner of my face.
How was he so fast? And more than that, why couldn’t I hear his footsteps at all? I knew he was a mafia, but maybe he should consider switching professions and becoming an assassin.
He liked killing people, after all.
With this stealth skill, he would definitely make a na for himself.
He suddenly pressed his head on mine, just as Min-Cheol had done, and his erald eyes looked deeply into mine.
"You’re not hot." He said. "Thank goodness for that."
So, what? This was the new way of checking soone’s temperature? Co on, my heart was skipping for no reason.
"I have to go sowhere right now." He said and moved back. "I wished I could spend the whole day by your side but..."
"No, it’s fine. You should go if your attention is needed. Besides, I’m not alone." I said, and his eyes traveled to Min-Cheol.
I could feel a rather slithering feeling from those eyes as they gazed coldly at Min-Cheol.
He closed his eyes, sighed, and nodded.
"Yes, you’re right." He leaned closer again and kissed the top of my head. "So, I’ll leave you in their hands." He said. "I’ll co back as soon as I can."
"Yes, I’ll be right here. In this mansion." I waved as I watched him leave, and seeing wave, his lips curled up in a pretty smile.
He liked , this man. He definitely liked .
"Jo-Pil," I heard Ki-hoon call out to just as Jin-Yeok left.
"Yes, Hyung?"
"Cha Hyun-woo will be here in an hour." He said, and my eyes slightly flinched.
That bas-- I an, that doctor. I really wished I wouldn’t get to see him for a long while, especially when my spirit no longer aligned with him.
Though I didn’t want to see him, I couldn’t reject getting treatnt. My head might’ve been healed, but he would still need to check my condition.
I was actually expecting them to call him in the middle of the night after I woke up just so he could check my condition, but surprisingly, they didn’t.
As much as I’d like to say they were mature enough to be sensible, I couldn’t say it with my full chest because I knew the reason why they didn’t call Hyun-woo.
They wanted to spend the ti I had woken up with and not be disturbed by an outsider. Yeah, they were still pretty childish.
"Shall we have lunch before then?" Ki-hoon answered, and that jogged my mory.
I almost forgot. With all the ruckus, I didn’t feel hungry one bit, but food was essential to my bony body.
"Yes, let’s have lunch." I said and looked down at Min-Cheol. "Little Min, let’s have lunch." I said, my voice was soft as a whisper.
He wasn’t sleeping, but I felt it was the right tone to convince this kid to let go of .
He was holding so tightly and yet so gently at the sa ti.
Min-Cheol finally raised his head and then looked up at . He really felt like a puppy. A super clingy puppy.
"Hyung," he called and snuggled on once more, which was sowhat ticklish, but I tried to contain my laugh.
It would be kind of awkward if I started laughing out of the blue.
"Ahem, why are you like this today?" I asked, grabbing his arms and trying to take them off, but he was holding tightly again. This kid... "It’s not like anything happened to ." I said but pursed my lips as I recalled I had my arm bruised and my lips kissed. "Okay, it’s not like anything major happened to ."
Surely, he wouldn’t count those things as ’sothing major’ right?
"I’m completely fine." I said to him and turned to Ki-hoon, who was simply staring at us, wondering what we were doing.
At this point, I didn’t even know whether to call him innocently stupid or if he was just pretending. Could he not see what Min-Cheol was doing? So what was with that inquisitively curious and innocent expression while watching us?
Hm, it couldn’t be that he was observing so he could act this sa way later, right? They’re already acting like a bunch of crazies, so I couldn’t exactly rule out the possibility.
I awkwardly and stylishly avoided his gaze, looking towards the other direction. Just eting his gaze made it seem like I was giving him ideas.
Then, my stomach growled and my face burned.
Great. Now, of all tis.
"Pft!" I heard Min-Cheol laugh. "Hyung’s stomach has a mouth."
Yes, yes. My stomach has a mouth and it will eat you up if you don’t stand on your feet and let go to the dining table.
"You’re hungry." He said, raising his head to smile at , and I exhaled.
Obviously. My stomach wouldn’t growl for no reason.
"I told you," I said to Min-Cheol. "But you wanted to be stubborn." I flicked his forehead lightly out of nowhere, startling all three of us.
Seriously, where was my mind?
"Did it hurt?" I asked, panicking inwardly. I felt I could grab my head and scream at the top of my lungs for the mistake I had made.
Deciding to clear this matter before it escalated, I kissed his forehead, the sa spot I had flicked, and said,
"There. It won’t hurt anymore."
I smiled, but I knew it. I knew I had only ended up making things more complicated with that kiss on his forehead.
Can soone interrupt us already? I feel I’m going to have holes in my head from the way their eyes bore curiously at .
"What are you lots doing?" I heard Seo-Jun’s voice and turned to find him with that displeased frown and his hands in his pockets. "If you’re not here to eat then pack up and go sowhere else. You’re ruining the scenery."
