"Little Min, what are you doing?" I asked, shading my eyes by looking away. "Don’t you..." My eyes road around the wall as if searching for sothing, but I just wanted to avoid his eyes. My heart couldn’t take it. "...have sothing to do right now?"
Min-Cheol lifted his body and looked over , pressing his head on mine as he gazed at quite intimately while sulking.
"I’m still on my day off, Hyung." He said with a childish tone.
Oh, right. The day was still bright. It was as if the day was moving very slowly.
It was slow days like this that I liked to bury my face in books and binge-read several Chapters.
It was too bad I couldn’t go to the library because of Seo-Jun, and my other masters were busy with the installation of the caras. So, in the living room, it was just clingy Min-Cheol and .
"Hyung, do you not like anymore?" He asked, and it caught my breath for a mont.
I couldn’t speak for so reason and could only gulp as our faces were so close and his eyes were directly on mine.
His lips, too. If he leaned down a little bit, he would end up kissing by ’mistake’, but I hoped he wouldn’t make that mistake because once he did, it would light up sothing inside him.
Sothing called ’greed’.
"What are you saying, Little Min?" I asked. "Why wouldn’t I like you anymore?"
"But you don’t want to respond to ." He said. "Are you very upset with the arrangent?"
Yes, I was upset. Very, in fact. You guys should go put caras in your rooms and bathrooms, too. Then, it would seem fair.
But I couldn’t say that out loud, obviously.
"I don’t like it." I said. "But I know it’s the only way to ensure my safety."
"Yes, Hyung. We need to see what that old man is up to at all tis." He said, and I darted my eyes away.
This was technically that old man’s house, and though I didn’t know the details, I was sure it wouldn’t sit well with him to know he was being monitored.
Jin-Yeok planned to station so guards in the viewing room, the room where the caras would be connected to, and watch the screen at all tis.
If ever they noticed Seo-Jun being hostile with or trying to sneak into my room, they were to alert the rest of them right away while ’sacrificing’ themselves to protect .
It was called a sacrifice because neither of them would be able to go against Seo-Jun without hurting him. They couldn’t lay a hand on him and could only stand in defense. Sowhat like at shields.
But was this okay, though?
They were literally treating Seo-Jun as a criminal and denying him his rights over . It’s not that I was worried about him. I an, what do I care? If this ensures that he doesn’t suddenly crawl into my room and try to steal my ass then if was fine by .
What I was worried about was whether this safety asure taken wouldn’t infuriate Seo-Jun, worsen their relationship, and force him into action?
I already told him to watch , so I assud he wouldn’t do anything rash until he had figured out. But the others decided to be extra cautious because they cared too much and knew the kind of disgusting, perverted things Seo-Jun was into.
If I fell into his grasp, then it was ga over for .
"Little Min," I called, reaching my hand towards his face and caressing his cheek. "How long has it been?"
"How long has what been, Hyung?" Min-Cheol asked.
"I miss you, smile." I suddenly said and smiled at him. His eyes widened. "It warms my heart a lot, and I feel less stressed when I see it. So, smile for ."
What was I talking about? Min-Cheol had been smiling for a while, so there was no way I would miss it. I said that because it seed like he was faking his smile.
And as if confirming what I thought, his face contorted as his eyes teared up.
"Hyung," he called, leaving speechless.
He was... Crying? Why? And what for?
Was it because I said he should smile more often?
I had to drop my legs and hug his head as he cried.
"Sorry, Hyung. I’m sorry." He apologized as he cried.
Silly boy, just what are you crying about?
It seed like Min-Cheol had a lot on his mind as well. This silly kid... he should worry more about his company, family issues, and the cooperation they had so carelessly postponed.
Seriously, I still think about it and think they were immature to make such a decision.
"It’s alright, Little Min," I said, stroking his hair. "You should get things off your chest once in a while. So, if you want to talk, I’m here."
Though I said that, I desperately hoped he wasn’t going to do a confession. Maybe that was what weighed in his mind, and seeing unconscious for so long crushed his heart and spirit.
He should refrain from confessing, though. I would hate to break his little heart this early.
I patted his back while stroking his hair. This should take a while.
"Jo-Pil." I heard Jin-Yeok’s voice and turned my head around.
"Master," I called. "Are you done already?" I asked.
He and Ki-hoon had supervised the people who were mounting the surveillance caras.
He walked closer and then saw Min-Cheol in my arms, hugging like a baby bear. His eyes slightly twitched, but he did his best to hide it and said to ,
"Yes, it’s done."
Wait, co to think of it, I doubt these jealous Alphas would let the people in the viewing room watch as I sleep or as I bathe. They would blind them if they did. So, was the cara in my room connected to their own devices instead?
