"Humph!" She coldly harrumphed seeing his stuttering mouth that was unable to speak the kind of words she wanted to hear. How can he not be able to say so sweet words to calm her heart?
Why was it so difficult for n to say exactly what was in their hearts? It doesn’t require much of his strength to spell out those few words. It wouldn’t cost him anything to say I love you.
Deep down, she was feeling bitter; with her stray fingers, she pinched his waist, venting her anger.
"Auntie, they are people whom you studied with in high school; they were just wondering if you are okay; nothing much to be worried about." Twilight ca back reporting but realized things weren’t normal anymore with the way those eyes looked at her. It was like they were prying to see if whatever she was saying was purely the truth.
She had actually scared the boys away and didn’t want to hear any of their nonsense. Probably soone behind the scenes was scheming on how to make Huo Ting Cheng and Tang Fei fight today when they have guests, and it seed to have worked with the way they were eying her.
She vowed inwardly to find those boys and take care of them properly.
"Ooohh? Have I been to any high school? Classmates? Since when did I have such caring comrades from there? It has never happened! This could be history." With her blurred mories, she couldn’t recall much, and all she thought of was her previous life as Assassin Ice; she had done strict hoschooling and never attended any public school, just like other normal students. All she wanted to do now was pin Huo Ting Cheng down and ravage him thoroughly.
She sniffed around his neck inhaling that unique scent that always captivated her. It was sothing that always made her even more attached to him.
"You haven’t?" Huo Ting Cheng teasingly pinched her waist as she wiggled on his arms while teasingly licking his neck. He knew she was either acting or she was trying to brush off the entire matter.
"Did I have? If I did, how co I was never in the sa class as you? Were you in your sophomore year? But there’s nothing like a sophomore there, it’s all about blood and sweat." She couldn’t understand what he was trying to insinuate here. All her life, she has only been to the Assassin camp; she was raised there, and all she ever did was kill people. She forgot that she was still Tang Fei, the girl who had lived a normal life.
"What do you think?" With her charred mories, he actually didn’t doubt anything about her even though she seed to be talking in parables and narrating sothing different from what he knew. Since he knew her mories were erased, it was normal to be confused.
"Can I take her upstairs to rest? I can watch after her while you entertain the guests. She seems to be sleepy." Twilight hurriedly stretched her hands to get her but was imdiately stopped by Huo Wu who had walked over and held her hands before she lost them.
How could Huo Ting Cheng let anyone carry his wife while he was present and capable? Wasn’t this like brewing so fights? Huo Ting Cheng didn’t care if it was a woman carrying his woman, so long as he was capable, no one should assist him.
"She is with her husband; nothing would go wrong. Let him handle his wife as he deems to be the best way." He dragged her over to the empty seat, took a seat there, and watched things unfold themselves from miles away. It was best if they didn’t get themselves involved.
Twilight wasn’t worried about her making a ss and what of few, but more worried that she would expose who she truly was, and she could tell her momma loved her current life, she enjoyed being a mother and wife what she yearned for in her previous life, so, how could she watch her ruin these things she had earned for herself after losing her entire life? She just couldn’t seem to sit still.
She was so nervous! She had already exposed herself to the fact that they never attended any school with other students. They did study, but there was nothing like schoolmates; everyone in the Assassin Creed was your enemy because you would one ti fight for your life against them; it was either them staying alive or you. It was all about survival, living, and eting the targets.
"Why are you that nervous? Is there sothing wrong? You can talk to , you can tell anything so that we know how to handle the situation." Huo Wu, who had noticed her clenched hands, gazed at Tang Fei before looking at Twilight, whose entire body was nervous and sweating, indicating that their relationship seed to be even more complicated than they thought, ’Had she fallen in love with their Mistress? Were they planning to escape? He made up his mind to stay closer to her this entire ti, they would soon expose their relationship.
"Nothing...." She couldn’t hide her nervousness and luckily, Tang Fei was ssing around with her husband and wasn’t saying anything else to imply more than what their master knew.
"Honey.... You haven’t told ... I want to hear... I want to hear it... Be good and tell ..." Tang Fei wiggled in his arms while her lips moved around his neck, sotis caressing it and sotis nibbling it.
"I will tell you upstairs when the guests are all gone when it’s just the two of us... Stay still, or you won’t like what will happen next if you continue provoking like that!" He kissed her on the forehead while she wiggled around naughtily. It was best she didn’t drink completely. She would beco too naughty.
"You are threatening ...." Tang Fei imdiately stopped what she was doing and sat there on his lap pouting her lips while her eyes suddenly welled with tears threatening to spill. She looked like a spoilt princess who had been wronged.
"I wasn’t; I was worried that you would bla tomorrow when you sober up if you see what you did today... Mnnnh? Be good." He dragged her into his arms and let her lean her head on his chest while he cuddled her tiny body.
"Humph! She snorted but listened to him and stayed still.
"Hehe... It’s best if you keep her indoors. She is just ant to be a housewife. Look at how she is behaving after a few sips of wine." Yu Jing spoke up while eying Tang Fei mockingly. She took a few sips but she was so wasted like this already. She was letting everyone know what kind of an embarrassnt she was and how she would ss it up in the public space while accompanying her husband. Huo Ting Cheng was a proud guy and didn’t deserve such a lowly-graded woman to be his wife. He deserved better, soone like her.....
Between her and Tang Fei, she was more fitted to be his wife; she was more elegant, and she was more adaptive to all circumstances; compared to Tang Fei, she was superior, and she was the only one worthy of Huo Ting Cheng.
"Her husband doesn’t mind her being a housewife, what’s bothering you anyways? Or do you want to replace her? Do you want him to be your husband? Look at those eyes of yours that are lusting over soone’s husband. You can’t be this obvious, right?" Twilight was burning with anger while she tightly clenched her hands, Tang Fei wasn’t soone she could listen to people mock her. She was her world and everything to her.
Tang Fei deserved the best and no one had the right to ridicule her. If she was in her previous body, she was capable of taking strong whiskey and still being sober; what’s now wine?
Huo Wu was surprised by her outbursts; it seed to be valid, but at the sa ti, it felt like a little mini version of Tang Fei. Now more than ever, he felt like their relationship was very unusual.
