"So, you’re the one who took on the Plagueclaw Vermin quest," the manager began, his tone serious. "That’s quite an impressive feat, especially for soone of your level."
Lun nodded, his expression neutral. "It seems I did more than what was asked."
The branch manager studied Lun for a mont before continuing. "I won’t beat around the bush. We don’t often see hunters of your calibre here. You ntioned your level, but is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself? Your class, perhaps?"
Lun considered the question for a mont. While he had nothing to hide, he preferred to keep certain details to himself. "I’m currently at level 51, and I’ve evolved to the D tier," he replied, choosing his words carefully.
"Not budging on the class ’ey, no matter, this isn’t of much importance." The branch manager didn’t seem too bothered about Lun not giving up any information about himself.
The branch manager nodded, seemingly satisfied with the answer. "Thank you for sharing. Now, let tell you a bit about Veridia. Our city is under the rule of the city lord, who is the strongest individual in Veridia. He’s a formidable C tier hunter with a level exceeding 100, though the exact number is a closely guarded secret."
Lun listened intently, absorbing the information. Veridia was no ordinary city, and its ruler was a force to be reckoned with. He had never encountered nor heard of any C tier being before so the ntion that there was one right in this city was quite a surprise to him.

Lun took the badge, studying it for a mont before eting the branch manager’s gaze. "What’s the catch?"
The branch manager smiled. "No catch, I assure you. We believe in nurturing talent when we find it. You’ve proven yourself capable, and we would like to offer you the opportunity to take on greater challenges. Of course, the decision is entirely yours. There are no contractual obligations or anything like that. The freedom to do whatever you like with this badge is entirely up to you."
Lun considered the offer carefully. It was an enticing proposition, one that promised greater rewards and opportunities. He had co to Veridia seeking adventure, and it seed that the city had much more to offer than he had initially imagined.
After a mont’s pause, he nodded. "I accept."
