Chapter 174 - Protection (3)
Shu Yan paid particular attention behind herself and didn’t noticed anything. She has, again, saw Feng Zeyu after she got onto the bus.
After she has gotten off of the bus, she ran over to Feng Zeyu and asked, “You were outside of the shop the entire ti?”
“I’m not too busy these few days so I thought I’d hang out around your shop.” Feng Zeyu frowned a little and said, “You don’t want to be seen with right now.”
“I don’t think we need to be this worried. I think the chance of them finding is pretty slim. You can... just keep company on my new few trips to City Han.”
“It’s fine. Oh, yeah, Duoduo had woken up and he asked to thank you for him after finding out that you were the one who saved him.” Feng Zeyu changed the subject.
Shu Yan didn’t know what to say. She hesitated for a little bit and asked, “Any news on the kidnappers’ end?”
“I don’t know much about that either. I trust that my friend will let know when it is resolved.” That information was need-to-know only. As much as Feng Zeyu was a comrade, his friend couldn’t possibly tell him much.
“Sorry. I didn’t an to rush you.” They had just arrested the two yesterday afternoon. It was not possibly for them to have arrested the rest of the gang by now.
“That’s quite normal. Don’t worry. I have arranged for a couple of my people to keep an eye out at the school as well. I won’t let anything happen.”
“You have arranged for n around my children’s schools as well?” Shu Yan gave him a surprised look.
“Yes. They are all veterans so you can relax.” Feng Zeyu gave Shu Yan a look and said, “You go pick up your rchandizes. Don’t worry that I will lose you.”
Shu Yan hesitated for a little. “Why don’t you walk with ? It’s too difficult for you to follow behind .”
Feng Zeyu shook his head. “No, that won’t be right.”
That won’t be right? Shu Yan wanted to say sothing else but Feng Zeyu had always walked away from her. It was long before Shu Yan had lost sight of him.
In the following few days, Shu Yan couldn’t even pick up any traces had it not been him being on the bus with her.
She needed to return to the hospital today. She had already completed the three treatnts of the Chinese herbal dicines. She wanted to find out if she needed to have more.
The treatnt was very effective. Shu Yan could tell that the symptom of her cold sweat had been much alleviated. She no longer shivered all the ti like she used to. The only drawback was how disgusting it tasted. It stunk and was bitter. Even just thinking about the taste, it was enough to give Shu Yan acid reflux and made her want to vomit.
“Much better. You won’t need to take the dicines anymore. Just watch your diet. You should avoid anything icy or spicy,” said the old doctor to her after he had taken her pulse.
Shu Yan could avoid icy food, but avoiding spicy food would be difficult for her.
“Occasionally is fine. Just not excessively,” said the old doctor as he casted her a look and had her stick out her tongue for him to see. “I’ll give you so more herbs for you to soak your feet in.”
“Okay.” After having the herbal dicine, her period was more normal; she was not cold all the ti, and even her cheeks were rosier than before. But her spots remained. She asked the doctor, “Any herbal dicines for the spots?”
“You wanted them removed? That would be difficult.” The old doctor shook his head.
Sure enough. Wanting to have so sort of magical pill that would give her beautiful skin like how it was described in novels was unrealistic.
She suddenly recalled a custor suggested laser spot removal to her in the past. She should go find out more about it when she has ti.
Since she was at the hospital, she decided to also go and weigh herself. 132 pounds. She had lost 9 pounds in a month. No wonder Wu Xiuyue said she had lost weight. She pinched her stomach and it was still pretty chunky. She got more work to do.
Walked outside of the hospital with her herbal dicines in hand, she spotted Feng Zeyu under a tree not too far away from her. Shu Yan ran over to him.
“I didn’t go to the shop today. You didn’t need to follow .” Shu Yan started to feel bad. She thought he was only going to follow her on her way to and from work. As it turned out, he was following her around day and night the last few days. She felt safe, but also sowhat uneasy at the sa ti.
“It’s fine.” Glancing at the Chinese dicines that Shu Yan was carrying in her hand, he asked, “Are you not feeling well?”
“No, just to regulate my body.” She didn’t want to elaborate too much to him about feminine issues. “You know, we have never introduced ourselves this entire ti. Let’s do it official now. My na is Shu Yan. Shu as in comfortable and Yanas in color.”
“Feng Zeyu. Fu as in square, Ze as in being blessed, and Yu as in universe.”
