"Si Yu," Shu Yong’s old face broke into a pleated smile as he approached Fu Siyu ingratiatingly, "you’ve co to work so early, you should take good care of your health."

Before he had married Shu Wan, Fu Siyu had reviewed the Shu Family’s information. Though two years had passed, Fu Siyu’s exceptional mory allowed him to recognize the people before him instantly.

His expression remained indifferent as he glanced at Shu Yong, "Who are you?"

Shu Yong’s smile almost faltered, and with an embarrassed grin, he said, "Look at Shu Wan, she hasn’t even introduced you to her family. I am her father, which ans I am your—"

Shu Yong’s phrase "your father" never made it out, withered under Fu Siyu’s icy stare.

"We are family after all, and it’s a pity we haven’t t before."

As Shu Yong spoke, the good-looking woman standing behind him tugged at his sleeve, prompting him to rember sothing.

He stepped back, revealing a young man and woman behind him. "This is Shu Xue, Shu Wan’s sister, and this is Shu Fan, Shu Wan’s brother. Co on, call him brother-in-law."

Shu Fan was short and plump, only able to look up at Fu Siyu. Despite trying to appear humble, his eyes betrayed that he was a spoiled child, "Hello, brother-in-law."

Shu Xue was different; she was slender and beautiful, dressed in a pink Chanel-style suit that made her look like a pink princess in the cold winter.

She looked at Fu Siyu with a mix of shyness and admiration, "Hello brother-in-law, I’m Shu Xue."

Fu Siyu didn’t look at her for the whole ti, "Qin Lv, take them to the reception, I have a eting to attend."

"Yes, Mr. Fu."

After Fu Siyu left, Qin Lv smiled warmly at the three of them, "So you are the lady’s family. We’ve prepared so tea, please follow ."

As he spoke, Qin Lv began to walk outside; Shu Yong and the others still wanted to search for Fu Siyu inside the company, but Qin Lv’s cordial deanor made it difficult for them to refuse, and they had no choice but to follow.

Qin Lv didn’t take them far, soon stopping at an ordinary coffee shop.

Before they could ask, Qin Lv explained with a smile, "This place was personally designed and built by Mr. Fu; we only co here to entertain honored guests."

Qin Lv’s words flattered Shu Yong and the others, but as they observed the peeling paint and tasted the cheap coffee, they felt sothing was off.

"This coffee tastes weird." Shu Fan, who knew his food and drink, noticed sothing wrong with the coffee.

"Maybe it’s handmade," Shu Xue also sensed sothing was amiss but knowing Qin Lv was a high-ranking assistant to Fu Siyu and his respectful attitude made it difficult for her to doubt.

Qin Lv accompanied the Shu Family at the coffee shop for half an hour, esteed, enthusiastic, but evidently clueless.

By the ti Shu Yong and his company were sent off, they were still sowhat confused.

Soon after, the news that the Shu Family had established a connection with the Fu Family spread, and Shu Family’s stocks soared.

Shu Wan wasn’t surprised that the news was circulated, but what truly surprised her was that it was Fu Siyu who had it leaked.

Based on her understanding of Fu Siyu, he must have had other motives. "You don’t need to worry about them."

"I wasn’t planning to. I only want to take care of you."

"But—"

"I know you don’t have a good relationship with them." Fu Siyu smiled and kissed Shu Wan, "Let them work for you for free."

Shu Wan’s eyes flickered, "You an the Shu Family?"

"Yes, most of the Shu Family’s assets were originally left to you by your birth mother."

Fu Siyu’s words had previously crossed Shu Wan’s mind, but she had been busy with her beauty company and hadn’t pursued it. Now, with Fu Siyu bringing it up, it reignited her thoughts.

"Just right, the Shu Family is mainly involved in dical equipnt." Shu Wan nodded, "Okay."

As she spoke, Shu Wan seed to think of sothing else and teasingly looked at Fu Siyu, "I heard Shu Yong ca looking for you with Shu Xue."

"I wouldn’t know what she looks like." Fu Siyu raised his right hand, "I didn’t even glance at her."

"I didn’t say anything," Shu Wan said, a hint of laughter in her eyes.

"Does that an I deserve a reward?" Fu Siyu smiled as he embraced Shu Wan, "May I?"

With his warm breath on her ear, Shu Wan’s face flushed, and just as she was about to say sothing, she looked up to see Fu Yang standing at the door with a look of disgust.

Shu Wan pushed Fu Siyu slightly, "Fu Yang is here."
