"Huh... now you’re challenging ? How ridiculous, Atreus Vermilion...!"

Duke Archer laughed at dismissively as he readied his silver bow, which was increasingly emitting a blackish-purple aura.

Unlike before, the level of power I felt now was even more suffocating.

It seed Duke Archer had enhanced the capabilities of his silver bow to a new level.

"Since Vermilion existed, he believed that dragons and golems could coexist with humans... what a foolish and unreasonable statent! Dragons and golems live to dominate and destroy each other to prove who is the strongest! Who dominates this land? They would never allow humans to live on equal footing with them! It’s ti for us to demonstrate our supremacy as humans! Humans are the strongest race in this world! Dragons and golems are our slaves!"

Duke Archer’s thunderous shout rang out loud, even though the surrounding area was filled with the crackling of fire and the sound of crumbling wood.

Under the shadow of the golden walls of the grand hall, Duke Archer and I glared at each other, preparing to launch an attack that would shatter this grand hall to dust.

"...and you, along with King Victor Dragomir, sealed the dragons and golems to demonstrate human supremacy. You seem to forget that countless humans had to be destroyed for the sake of sealing those dragons and golems, you idiot. Azalea and Sheiza are clear examples of your cruelty. You claim this is for human supremacy, but in the end, you only want to use them as weapons to maintain King Victor Dragomir’s power," I retorted calmly.

"So what’s the point of using them as weapons, Atreus Vermillion? They’re tools! Weapons for humans to maintain human dominance!"

"Yeah... a weapon that ultimately harms humans too. Including you, who’s gone mad from focusing too much on sealing the dragons and golems, Duke Archer. Lord Vermillion believes that dragons and golems are a natural part of this world, possessing their own sphere of power. Killing them by sealing them would upset the balance of nature and corrupt the human mind. This imbalance would retaliate and bring about a karma that King Victor Dragomir and his loyalists could never imagine!"

"Ah... such shallow and superficial wisdom! You know nothing of human power...! King Victor Dragomir and his loyalists are no longer humans, but gods who rule over humans, dragons, and golems...!"

"Keep babbling, Duke Archer. Let strength and power determine who will win...!"

My Black Star in my right hand radiated a blackish aura, while at the sa ti, Duke Archer’s also emitted a blackish-purple aura.

The two powerful auras clashed, causing the golden floor of the grand hall to shake violently.

"Interesting...! I’ll prove to you that your foolish thoughts are those of a naive wizard who will perish! Just like your parents!"

Duke Archer drew his silver bow, then readying a purple magical arrow that grew thicker and larger on its own.

From the proportion of the arrow’s magical power, I knew it would deliver a single hit that had penetrated my previous black shield.

Even though I had quadrupled my black earth magic, the massive magical arrow still managed to penetrate it.

I know Duke Archer can be annoying when he acts arrogantly and underestimates his enemies, but I still can’t deny that he’s indeed powerful with his special armor.

Man, I even felt like I was fighting a demigod with Duke Archer’s level of power which difficulty quite gripping !

Instead of focusing my elental spell, I activated my ti and dinsion spell.

About two ters above , the large magical circle that would beco the warp gate ford.

"HAH...! WARP GATE...?! YOU WANT TO ESCAPE, RIGHT? LOSER...! I KNEW YOU VERMILLION ARE A BUNCH OF COWARDS WHO CAN’T WIN AGAINST KING VICTOR DRAGOMIR...!"

Duke Archer’s belittling exclamation rang out loudly as the magical arrow he had ford beca improved and more perfect.

But I wasn’t afraid or nervous.

I controlled my breathing to remain steady so I could keep my gaze sharp and focused.

Duke Archer’s intense killing intent was becoming more and more evident, making the atmosphere feel increasingly thin.

But that wasn’t enough to break my focus on the magical warp gate I had ford above .

"DIE, ATREUS...!"

Duke Archer drew his bow, launching his javelin-like magical arrow that shot through the air, the golden walls, and the golden floor in its path.

In a split second, I cast a summoning spell, summoning a force that could match the impact of Duke Archer’s attack.

"Go forward, Terra...!" I shouted as a giant golem fist erged from the magical warp gate above .

’BOOMMM....!’

A flash of explosion erupted as the Terra golem’s giant fist collided with Duke Archer’s magical arrow.

The golden floor of the grand hall shook violently, cracking and creating a crater from the explosion.

"G-golem...?! Y-you can control Terra Golem...?!" Duke Archer exclaid in disbelief.

Well, with my summoning spell, I knew I couldn’t summon the entire Terra Golem because my magical warp gate had limited area and capability to penetrate.

But that didn’t an I couldn’t exploit it.

I could still make the magical warp gate strong enough to launch a single golem attack, much like I did when I summoned The Great Wyvern to unleash its poisonous gas when I fought Zeraxion.

’CRZZZZZTTT.....!’

The flashes of fire and electricity from Terra’s fists and Duke Archer’s arrows grew wild and uncontrollable, etching the remaining wooden tables, along with the golden floor and walls of the grand hall.

I could sense that Terra’s fists were able to match the incredible power of Duke Archer’s single-hit strike, that previously had penetrated my black shield.

Watching Duke Archer growl in annoyance at having his attack blocked like that made want to continue, because I knew he hadn’t expected the power of Terra Golem’s fists.

The Black Star in my hand now radiated a brighter black aura, boosting Terra Golem’s power with an energy boost through my magical flow.

’GRAAAAKKK....!’

Gradually, Terra’s fists advanced, and Duke Archer’s magical arrows disintegrated into millions of magical particles, losing their power.

I saw Duke Archer quickly form his silver shield, which ant he knew his attack was inferior in terms of power.

"Destroy him, Terra...!"

"GRRROOOOO.....!"

Terra’s giant fist shot through Duke Archer’s magical arrow, shattering it into pieces, then hurtled toward Duke Archer, who had his shield at the ready.

"BOOOOOMMMM.....!"

"AAAAGHHH.....!"

Terra’s giant fist struck Duke Archer, even though he blocked it with his silver shield.

Duke Archer was sent flying, crashing into a golden wall that happened to have Archer’s flag pinned to it.

He fell to the ground, his bones cracked, and he vomited blood repeatedly from the powerful impact and the resulting shattered bones after my Terra fist struck him.

Heh....I win.

It seems Duke Archer underestimated , and he lost due to his own stupidity.

"Go back, Terra. Your task is complete."

Terra’s giant hand retracted into my warp magical gate, and then a few seconds later, it vanished.

I knelt for a mont, sweat mingling with blood from the wounds along my right arm and thigh from Duke Archer’s previous arrow.

Damn, it seems I’ve expended too much energy on the summoning spell.

But at least I’ve managed to subdue Duke Archer with this, a gamble and sacrifice worth it, I suppose.

I slowly got up and approached Duke Archer, who was still knocked down, his silver shield dented beside him.

He tried to get up, but with so many broken bones, he fell back down, holding back the pain.

My Black Star blazed with a bright black aura.

Black flas surged from my right hand, which I can use to easily finished off Duke Archer.

He’s currently lying helplessly about 10 ters in front of .

"You didn’t expect to make Terra my partner? Figures." I said calmly, pointing my right palm, ready to incinerate his body.

"B-bastard...BASTARD...! BASTARD...! BASTARD! BASTARD! BASTARD! BASTARD! BASTARD!"

Duke Archer scread hysterically even though his body was already roaring in pain.

He was so angry, I even saw the blood slowly trickling down his temples for a mont as he scread so loudly.

"Well...I thought you were the type to beg for rcy when your life was on the line, Duke Archer. Turns out you’re just a madman who can’t admit defeat," I said, shaking my head, astonished by his attitude.

"BASTARD...! ATREUS VERMILLION...! YOU’RE THE FIRST TO FORCE TO USE THIS...!"

What?

STAB!

In re seconds, I felt a purplish-black flash flash past.

At first, I thought it was just a hallucination or a feeling, but it wasn’t.

My stomach ached, as if sothing had stabbed it deeply.

Blood slowly gushed out of my mouth, and I realized that a black spear had just pierced my stomach.

The black spear, with its sharp blade resembling a dragon’s fang, had pierced my stomach.

In front of , the purplish-black shadowy figure manifested itself increasingly clearly, forming a black figure.

A knight in full black armor from head to toe.

From the blackish-purple aura emanating from the black-armored knight, I knew he wasn’t human, but a spiritual elent.

And that spiritual elent belonged to Duke Archer.

Fuck!

I didn’t expect him to have such a secret weapon!
