"Old Lady, Lady, how long do you plan to stay here? Would you like to freshen up first or have dinner downstairs? We can have dinner brought to your room!"

The staff opened the door and respectfully addressed them.

Ye Shiqi did not imdiately respond. She first surveyed the room; upon entering there was a screen that separated those coming in from the entrance, then she stepped further in.

Behind the screen was a slightly larger guest room, and inside it, a smaller room, possibly a temporary toilet or washroom.

In the room was a kang bed, large enough to sleep four or five people, offering convenience for guests.

The staff was very perceptive, quickly realizing that the one in charge was not the older woman, but the little girl of about eleven or twelve years old.

Furthermore, the man who had paid the deposit earlier, along with so other n, did not co in; instead, following these two won, were seven or eight maids and two old won.

It seed evident that these individuals were from a wealthy family, not an ordinary trade caravan!

"Have dinner brought to the room; a maid will order the dishes shortly."

Ye Shiqi replied, supporting her grandmother into the room, ignoring the staff further, aware of the differences between n and won. The staff remained at the door while a maid attended to him, requesting hot water for the Old Lady and young Lady to wash their faces.

A maid went to order food!

Other maids took turns going to the kitchen to fetch hot water, and despite the servants being busy, everything was orderly!

Upon disembarking their carriage, they had simply brought in a few bundles containing the Old Lady’s and young Lady’s belongings, along with their basic toiletries.

Ye Shiqi did not idle; she ensured that neither her grandmother nor anyone in their party drank the inn’s water, the food being the only exception!

She personally washed the inn’s teacups and teapot, using warm water from her mind space, washing them over and over again, then infused the teapot with this warm water. This water could be used to brew honey tea, but if used for any other tea, it must be boiled.

In the room, there was a stove and a large ceramic pot for brewing tea.

She also personally washed it with space water, then brewed a large pot of tea.

Her actions were not concealed from her grandmother; by this ti the room’s door was closed, leaving only two maids by her side, while the others were busy outside!

The Old Lady seed to sense that her little granddaughter harbored significant secrets, but she and the Old General rely thought their granddaughter was extraordinarily talented, dismissing any notions of her being a monster!

In the hearts of the two elders, this granddaughter was kind and filial, having learned so tricks as if she were an immortal with a few abilities akin to ordinary people learning different skills!

The country still had divine fortune tellers, witches, and legendary immortals!

The two elders felt that this little fairy had undoubtedly awakened so abilities due to her genius, perhaps explaining her dical skills?

She possessed so trickster magic, capable of hiding people or objects.

They didn’t believe this little granddaughter was secretly placed in their son’s ho as a spy, especially since the old housekeeper had investigated this aspect!

The old housekeeper had once reported that this granddaughter was unusual from birth!

"Grandmother, let’s have so honey tea!"

Ye Shiqi personally handed her grandmother a cup of honey tea!

The tea was completely brewed from the spiritual spring water in her mind space, intended to relieve fatigue and prevent any poisoning from the inn’s food!

After a day’s travel, they had also consud spring water in the carriage, using snow water blended with spring water to brew tea, which naturally was not as good as this water!

She instructed the maid to serve the brewed water from the ceramic teapot to everyone, reminding them not to eat in the main hall, but only consu water delivered to them here!

Especially for the soldiers on duty, food safety must be taken even more seriously!

The Old Lady smilingly accepted her granddaughter’s filial gesture, appreciating the young girl’s ticulous arrangents, leaving no concerns beyond the door!

Despite feeling weary and ntally exhausted, after drinking the tea, she felt rejuvenated!

The sweet honeyed water gently slipped down her throat, mirroring the sweetness within her heart - a pleasure of her later years!

Ye Shiqi drank a cup of honey tea, as a maid brought in washing water, allowing them to simply wash their faces together with her grandmother!

In no ti, another maid brought in snacks, followed shortly by dinner!

Ye Shiqi checked and found no issues with the food!

She and her grandmother ate a little dinner and a piece of pastry, without overindulging!

No fruits were served; instead, she picked so fruits from her space, lons grown in the south which included waterlons and sweet lons that could be grown year-round in her space, though quick cultivation was prioritized over planting other fruit trees.

In the south, there were lychee trees, longan trees, and other favored fruit trees; she liked apples or snow pears but had not encountered such fruit trees yet.

Upon reaching the border, she regretted not planting these kinds of fruit trees earlier, as it ant having fewer fruit options to offer her family!

Southern fruit trees were excellent too! If planted, different seasonal fruits could be readily available for family mbers, always offering off-season fruits from her space!

After dinner, she let her grandmother sleep, opting not to enter her space but rather stayed beside her grandmother!

Like cautioning the Guard Captain to be alert, she utilized her space to explore Zhejiang Inn for any hidden places while keeping her eyes closed.

Room by room, she checked with her mind’s sense; besides their group, there were a dozen other guests, none appearing suspicious!

The other guests were either sleeping, drinking together, playing cards, or chatting!

Ye Shiqi then observed the owner, the staff, and their families!

Still, nothing unusual was found!

Ye Shiqi felt she had missed sothing, so she decided to check the cellar to see if there were any secret passages in this place!

She even checked the roof of the building!

Upon searching, she found a cellar where wines and so vegetables were stored separately!

What caught her attention was a peculiar spot in the inn’s courtyard, a small tunnel opening next to an underground drainage ditch!

Initially, she thought it was the entry to a drainage pit, given that this was an inn which might have drainage channels or a septic tank of sorts!

Following this tunnel, she discovered that about ten ters underground there was a passage leading outside!

Ye Shiqi’s mind space could only search places up to 200 ters away!

Searching further, she saw that this tunnel branched out into two exits on the ground: one leading to the main road beyond the small town, and another connecting to the residential area of another town!
