Ye Shiqi later thought that her two uncles were also people she could trust, and besides, she might often be away from the Capital City in the future, and her trips could be quite long.
She didn’t want so matters to rely halt in their tracks. Ye Shiqi hoped her business could be nationwide or even that she could travel the country to see it for herself. Therefore, she couldn’t allow herself to be confined to a few estates because of this.
Thinking thus, Shiqi made arrangents to have a worker notify her uncles to co to her house, as there were so matters that were still best handled by her uncles, to show her face at the appropriate tis.
The other mbers of her household began to gather luggage and prepare gifts for their trip to the Capital City, including food and other necessities.
Ye Shiqi thought of the abundant stock of rice in her space and the stores in the warehouse below her ho, and she had an idea for a business to undertake in the Capital City!
She could sell a batch of rice and have money to buy a shop, but have she thought about what kind of shop she would need to open?
Thinking it over, she felt that as newcors, they couldn’t possibly compete with the locals.
Food would always be needed by the people who must eat well and enjoy their food, which made selling it more practical than other products.
There would never be a shortage of rice with two of the three estates able to supply it.
When necessary, the rice from her space could be sold at a higher price, but she couldn’t just sell it outright; it needed to be mixed with the other stock.
Li Zhihao had arrived at his brother-in-law’s house the day before—this new family mber he had known before and was very satisfied with his attitude and manners.
That evening, he even found ti to tease his older brother, saying he was too busy making money and had no ti to attend his niece’s banquet.
He also highly praised his niece’s cooking skills and the generosity of her prospective husband’s gifts.
Li Zhijun responded to his brother with a snort—seeing the new family mber was not necessary as he could et him daily.
Finding his older brother’s comnt distasteful, Li Zhihao then freely enjoyed soaking in the hot spring, feeling comfortable despite the sumr heat, his whole body refreshed.
Upon receiving his young niece’s ssage, he felt as if he were about to fly again, hurried with excitent to his brother-in-law’s ho.
Unexpectedly, his older brother had arrived even earlier at the courtyard; indeed, the two brothers were of one mind!
"Big brother, good morning!"
"You little rascal, the sun is already high in the sky, and it’s hardly morning. Did you just get out of bed? It seems like my leg strength still beats yours!"
Li Zhijun had not co on foot; he had ridden Iron Bull, which was faster than his little brother’s ox cart.
Li Zhihao laughed heartily and then asked the workers at his brother-in-law’s house to unload the food from the ox cart, which was also a way to deliver fresh fruits, vegetables, at, and eggs to his brother-in-law’s family.
Li Zhijun lent a helping hand, and after the brothers were finished, they washed up and headed to the living room, waiting to speak with their young niece.
Ye Shiqi knew when her two uncles arrived but did not know how to put it into words.
So, she thought of a thod: writing letters. The content was the sa and quite simple, only stating:
"Prepare two large tanks and secretly place them in the estate’s storage room. Then, she’ll add so water, whose properties will improve the harvest of fruits and vegetables.
It’s also beneficial for raising livestock and fish, speeding up their growth and flavor. This water should also be added to the hot spring water, following the rule of adding a little every morning."
When Ye Shiqi ca into the living room and saw her uncles drinking tea, she greeted them with a smile, "Uncle, Young Uncle, have you been waiting long?"
"Ha ha ha, no problem at all, my dear girl. Whatever instructions you have, just tell us!"
Li Zhihao’s forthrightness echoed through the living room next door where Aunt Lai lay, her ears perking up.
Cautiously, she moved to the wall between the living room and her room, pressing her ear against it, no longer minding her frailty.
"Shh..." Ye Shiqi put a finger to her lips, her gesture imdiately conveying a sense of mystery.
Li Zhihao’s smile froze.
Li Zhijun gave his little brother a reproachful glance—such an adult and still not composed!
Li Zhihao sheepishly touched his nose, wondering how he could be the unruly one, but then again, better to admit his fault.
Ye Shiqi handed each uncle a letter, then said, "Read the letter and burn it afterward, keeping its contents in mind."
Li Zhijun nodded gravely, his excitent ignited; the sense of mystery filled him with a burning passion.
Li Zhihao, likewise, nodded in agreent, struggling to contain his excitent and curious about the surprise his niece had in store for them.
