"Are you one hundred percent sure their enmity is real?" Althea couldn’t afford to make a reckless decision because one wrong move could destroy her kingdom.

"Based on what happened to them, I believe the hostility is genuine," General Dylan shared his reasons why he believed their enmity was not staged.

As Althea was thinking about General Dylan’s suggestion, a blue-haired soldier stepped into the throne room.

He halted a few steps from the throne, straightened his posture, and bowed his head respectfully. "Your Majesty, a lady by the na of Diana adows requests an audience."

"Let her in." Althea agreed at once upon hearing the na.

"Understood, Your Majesty." The soldier responded.

A few monts later, the soldier returned with Diana.

The soldier left imdiately after that because his task was only to bring Diana to the queen.

"It’s been so long, but you are still the sa as when we last t, Althea." Despite speaking to a queen, Diana’s tone was casual, as if they were of the sa status.

A fierce light flashed in General Dylan’s eyes.

Diana was speaking to a queen, yet her behavior and words showed no trace of politeness or respect.

She even had the audacity to address the queen by her na without any formality.

General Dylan could not tolerate this, as it was akin to openly disrespecting and dismissing the queen’s authority.

But just as General Dylan was about to warn Diana, Althea’s voice rang out.

"There is no need to act, General Dylan. Diana’s behavior is permitted as I’ve given her the freedom to speak as she chooses." Althea knew what General Dylan had in mind, so she stopped him before he could reprimand Diana.

Of course, not everyone had the sa privilege as Diana.

Althea allowed Diana to act as she pleased because Diana was her savior.

When she and her husband were heavily injured thirty years ago, Diana was the one who saved them.

Even though her husband passed away shortly after they parted, Diana’s kindness always remained in her heart because, without her help, she would have been dead.

"As you wish, Your Majesty." General Dylan was still uncomfortable with Diana’s behavior, but he suppressed it because it was not his place to challenge her authority.

Diana crossed her arms over her chest and shot a sharp glance at General Dylan. "Hmf! This is why I can’t stand places like this. You can’t even speak freely without soone getting offended."

General Dylan remained silent and acted as if he heard nothing.

"It’s been a long ti, Diana. Did you co to use the wish I granted you?" Althea had granted Diana one wish after she saved both her and her late husband.

She had told Diana she could ask for anything, whether it was status, power, becoming a city mistress or sothing along these lines.

"Yes." Diana didn’t ask why Althea was the new ruler because she already knew what had happened to Althea’s husband.

"What is your wish?" Althea inquired.

"I want you to save Nightshire City from the Tuiziya Kingdom." Diana answered, "I’m sure my request is not too much because you have been fighting the Tuiziya Kingdom all this ti."

"Nightshire City?" Althea was startled by Diana’s request, but her expression remained unchanged.

"Yes. Nightshire City." Diana believed other people might consider her foolish for not using the wish for her own gain, but she didn’t care.

As long as she could win Ren’s heart and save his hotown, using her wish to save Nightshire City was worth it.

After all, she would live there with Ren if he accepted her love, so it was not a loss in her eyes.

It was simply a sacrifice for love.

And for soone like Ren, it was worth using her wish.

"Why do you want to save Nightshire City? Did you move there?" Althea knew Diana didn’t live in Nightshire City because she had stayed at Diana’s house for a month thirty years ago.

"I haven’t moved there yet. It’s just... soone I like lives there, and I want to help him protect his hotown," Diana gave an honest answer. "Who knows? Maybe, it will beco my hotown in the future."

"Oh? Soone you like? Who is he?" Althea asked curiously.

"His na is Ren. He is the most handso and amazing man in the world." Diana’s mood lifted instantly as she spoke about him.

General Dylan turned to Diana in surprise.

’She knows him?!’

He didn’t expect her to know Ren because there were many n in Nightshire City.

"Ren?" Althea suddenly rembered the news given by General Dylan a few minutes ago. "Is he the one who caused chaos in the capital of the Tuiziya Kingdom? The man King Aldric has declared a wanted criminal?"

"Yes. It’s him!" Diana answered, "Wait! The news has already reached here?"

"Our spies shared it with us." Althea revealed the truth because Diana was not on the Tuiziya Kingdom’s side. "No wonder you are willing to use your wish to save Nightshire City. It turns out the man you fancy is no ordinary man."

"We are not a couple yet, but I believe I can win his heart soon." Diana said confidently.

"Alright. I will grant your wish. But can you let et Ren and the city mistress of Nightshire City?" Althea wanted to know what kind of person Ren was, so she wished to et him in person.

"Sure! I will arrange after I return." Diana agreed instantly.

At the sa ti, in the Crown Princess’s chamber, Zaria was drinking tea alone. She had risen to the position of Crown Princess after defeating her younger sister and two brothers.

She didn’t kill them, but they were completely under her control.

They even could not leave the palace as they pleased because she had imprisoned them within the palace, turning their lavish quarters into gilded cages.

Of course, Althea did nothing to her.

As long as Zaria didn’t kill her siblings, Althea would turn a blind eye because it was normal for royals to fight over the throne.

And actually, she quite liked the outco because, from her point of view, Zaria was the most capable and fitting heir to the throne.

"Princess, I have a shocking news from the Tuiziya Kingdom." Ariana entered Zaria’s chamber with an excited face.

"What is it?" Zaria asked calmly as she brought the cup to her lips, sipping her tea elegantly.

"It’s about the young man we encountered at the Moon Temple." Ariana started sharing the news with Zaria.

At first, Zaria could keep calm, but everything changed when Ariana told her what Ren had recently done to the Tuiziya Kingdom.

She even put her tea down on the table because her mind was completely captured by the news.

"It seems like he is much stronger now. He even caused chaos in the palace and managed to escape unhard. I’m sure the royals of the Tuiziya Kingdom are furious now." Ariana was thrilled by what Ren did because the Tuiziya Kingdom was their enemy.

"He is indeed amazing." Zaria stated.

’Wait.’

She suddenly realized sothing.

"Doesn’t this put Nightshire City in a very dangerous situation?" Ren had created chaos in the palace, so Zaria believed King Aldric would seek revenge.

"Well, he humiliated the king, so I’m sure he will attack Nightshire City soon," Ariana responded.

"I need to et my mother now." Without waiting for another second, Zaria rushed to the throne room.

"Princess, wait for ." Ariana followed Zaria from behind.
