Brys
"Where are you taking to?" I worriedly glanced around as I tried to follow where we were.
"I have sothing to show you," he tightly held my wrist as he continued to drag forward. His steps were hurried. It was as if he were trying to get to sowhere, fast.
"Sky—"
"What’s wrong?" He stopped and slowly turned to face .
"Why are you crying?" I stared into his red, puffy eyes as I tried to understand what the hell was going on with him. First, he was acting too strange, and now his eyes are red as if he has been crying for a long ti.
"Crying?" He chuckled. "Why will you think I’m crying?" He wiped the tears from his face. "Leaves on a branch entered my eyes now. I guess it left teary," he smiled, yet, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that sothing was seriously wrong with him.
"Sky?"
"Let’s go," he turned and continued to drag down the path until we got to the thickest part.
"Sky, I—"
I didn’t get to complete my words before my head was covered behind with a dark cloth. I couldn’t even throw any punch as I was forced down until I lost consciousness from being suffocated.
*****
My head hurts like hell as I slowly opened my eyes. It felt like a very heavy lid was placed on them, making it difficult for to properly open them.
I slowly peeked an eye open before I did it to the other one. Ever so slowly, I raised my head. The sharp light, caused to cover them, wincing from the pain in my iris.
"You are awake."
I raised my head at the sound of his voice. I had to squint, to be able to keep my eyes open, in the bright room.
Mr Kim stood in front of with his arms folded, and an amused expression on his face.
"What —"
I tried to rise but discovered that I was tightly tied to the chair —with a silver chain. A sharp pain went through my body, and I gasped at the intense feeling.
"Shocked to see ?" He smiled as he squatted in front of , with a pleased expression on his face. "didn’t I tell you that I will have you as mine, Brys?" He laughed, sounding like one who needed water badly.
I stared hard at his face with my mouth pursed, and my brows arched. "what am I doing here? Where is Sky?"
Fear ramd into my ribcage in fear. Did they take Sky along with ?
I glanced around the room, searching for him. And that was when I saw them. All the Ogas that have gone lost over the months, were tied to chairs. They ford a circle around .
However, unlike , they are blindfolded and gagged. I sucked in a breath at the sight of the Ogas Ray and I have been trying to locate.
"Surprised to see them?" He chuckled. "I knew you will be," he rose.
"Where is Sky?"
All around are red-haired Ogas. There is no golden-haired Beta among them.
"You seem to be too concerned about him." He laughed once more, "pity how you still think of him as a friend when he was the one who tied you."
"What?" I gasped. "What do you an?"
He snapped his finger, and the door opened. Sky stepped in, with his face lowered.
I racked my eyes through his body, searching for any sign of injury on them, but there was none. He looked exactly like he was when he took from the garden.
"Sky?" I gently called out to him.
He raised his head at my call, but imdiately brought them down as he clenched his fists.
"You see, your friend isn’t who you think he is. He’s the one who has been kidnapping all the Ogas," Mr Kim said.
"That’s a lie!" I shook my head as I stared at Sky, who had his focus on the floor as if it housed any amusent. "That isn’t true!"
Sky can never be the one who kidnapped those Ogas.
"Are you trying to vouch for him?" Mr Kim laughed. "Okay," he turned to Sky. "The cute Oga thinks you are the innocent Beta you pretended to be. Why don’t you tell him what you did?"
There was enough silence before he slowly raised his head to look at .
".... I was the one who kidnapped all the Ogas. That was why I was sent to your academy, to get all the red-haired Oga, I could find." He said in a detached tone before he focused his attention on the floor once more.
"No! That can’t be true!" I frantically shook my head as I glared at Mr Kim. "You are lying! You forced him to claim cris he didn’t commit!"
"Oh?" He laughed. "It’s funny how stupid you can be, Brys. Okay, tell this. When did the Ogas start missing? Before he arrived or when he arrived?" He asked in a smug tone.
All the blood drained from my face when I realized that he was telling the truth. Dark Moon Academy was peaceful before the Betas joined us.
A week after, we started hearing news of missing Ogas.
"No!" I scread, not ready to believe what he said. "It can’t be Sky!" Tears stread down my eyes as I tried to deny that my Sky was the one who did all this. But I know the truth.
He was the one. Sky has always acted a certain way when talks of the missing Ogas are brought up.
Moreover, he seed to always be busy, especially after dinner. All those should have long exposed who he is, but we all chose to ignore it.
Mr Kim grinned, "do you know why I ca over, Brys?" He smiled at when I narrowed my teary eyes at him.
"Sky was delaying in the mission, so I had to know why. The spy I sent, found out about you, and that was why I ca, to see the Oga that’s unknowingly changing my cold Beta." He laughed, "funny how I ended up in the sa situation as my Beta. I had to fall for you!"
