I stared at him, waiting for an answer.
"Well," he nervously – if you can call it that – chuckled. "Okay, I was looking for you." He smiled, looking more like a human than a frosty Alpha. For a mont, I saw a bit of warmth flash through his eyes before it returned to how it has always been— cold and frosty.
"You were looking for , why?"
Fan stayed behind , giggling and making fun of , but I ignored the stupid system. He might have grown and gotten a bit wiser than he was when he was in his animal form, he’s still the sa stupid system I t on the day I transmigrated into this comic.
"I was saying the truth when I told you that I wanted to be friends with you, Brys. As a new principal, there are so things I don’t know about this school. I need soone familiar with the school to help out. And you Brys are the right candidate for the job." He gently smiled at , making blush from embarrassnt. It seems like he’s gradually trying to shed his coldness.
"I’m afraid; I’m not the appropriate candidate for the job. I haven’t been here for long. Others can help you."
It’s not as if I’m the star of the school or sothing like that. I doubt he would have known about had it not been for Storm, who helped during the ga. The ga was what boasted my popularity. a
"But I don’t want them, Brys. I have taken quite a liking to you. You are not like other Ogas. There’s this special light you have." He smiled kindly – not any less predatory, mind you – before he tugged towards the teacher’s hostel. If any of the students around saw us, none batted an eye at that.
"Have a nice ti with your principal, Brys. I’m going over to ss a bit with that handso Alpha with an orange sll." Fan waved at before he disappeared.
Bastard!
I gritted my teeth, infuriated with the stupid system I was unlucky to have. The principal dragged towards his room the mont we reached the teachers’ dorm. There was no teacher in sight — similar to when I ca over for the ’interview’ yesterday.
"When I was posted to this place, I thought it will be like my forr school, but it turned out to be better."
I know he was likely expecting to reply to those words or ask what the na of the school he worked in was, but I’m just not in the mood to entertain anyone. I just need to have breakfast with him and run away – as far away from him as I can afford.
He unlocked his door and ushered in before he closed it. "Welco once more to my humble abode, Oga. I hope you like it here?" he smiled at .
I stiffly nodded, not ready to say a word. I walked over to a couch and sat down while he went over to what, I assud, was his kitchen. There was a bit of noise in there before he appeared with a tray of food and a smile on his face.
I frowned when I noticed he had removed the shirt he was putting on earlier. Though he’s not naked, there isn’t much difference between the two. The singlet he was putting on did nothing to hide his pronounced muscles. It’s evident that he works out.
Though Alphas are naturally muscular, his seems a bit too much. He winked at when he noticed that I was staring at him. I blushed and turned my head to the side, suddenly feeling shy. I gulped as I tried to think of a way out.
I can’t have him staring at that way. It made feel like a kid caught with a cube of sugar in his mouth.
"Was this the room the forr principal lived in?" I glanced around the room, eager to find sothing to take my mind off the Alpha and the knowing smile he had on his face.
"No, this room hasn’t been occupied since this school was built." He dropped the tray of food on the table in front of before he sat next to on the couch. I froze, not batting an eye as I gulped.
He didn’t seem affected. "This room was built with the intention of using it as the teachers’ eting place. However, the teachers back then chose the room on the second floor. That’s also where the forr principals lived. Do you wish to check it out? I can take you there after breakfast," he offered. He sounded like he wanted to take him up on the offer.
"It’s okay; I don’t want to see anything. I was just curious," I gave the al on the table a look before I glanced up at the principal, who was still staring hard at . His gaze made feel self-conscious. I furrowed my brows and gulped.
"Let’s eat then," he gave one of the plates with three slices of bacon in it. "I haven’t had ti to visit the market. These are all I can make." He gestured to a steaming cup of tea, "I brought this with . It’s stronger than the ones served here," he winked.
I stared hard at the slices of bacon on the plate, and the steaming cup of tea, before I took a bit of the bacon. My eyes widened at the burst of flavours. I licked my lips as I slowly chewed on the one I took a bite of.
Wow!
This is so unlike any I have ever tasted. Not even the ones I’ve had back on Earth can compare. This is freaking delicious.
"How is it? Do you like it?" he asked with his eyes locked with mine. He looked anxious to know what my answer will be.
I nodded, "hmm, it’s delicious. Better than the one the cooks make."
He nodded with a smile, "then, let’s eat." He took a sip of his tea before he took a bite of his bacon – with his eyes still on , and a playful smile on his face.
