Storm's POV
"What do you want?" I glared at Mara.
Though it was my thoughts to bully the cute oga, I felt the need to return to the hall and help him out.
I intend to pretend that I was asked to do that, by the teacher. But this stupid Oga, who doesn't take 'no' for an answer, had to block .
"What do I want?" She furrowed her brows at . "I'm your betrothed, Storm. Must I have a reason to speak with you?" She asked in that sassy tone that always pisses off.
"You see." I took a step towards her. "Even if you report to my parents, my words still stand. Though we might be betrothed, this is a learning environnt and not a dating centre. I need to be left alone, to study. Is that too much to ask for?" I gritted my teeth, pissed at her.
"Others are dating in school. Why should ours be different? Dating won't interfere with our studies. It will only —"
"If you so badly want to date while in school, there are other Alphas out there who will be willing to date you. I won't change my mind about anything!"
I glanced down the hall.
It was crazy of to think of the cute Oga while I was with my betrothed, but I have this deep wish for him not to see with her.
"I don't want other Alphas. You are the only one I want, Storm." She took a step towards and made to place her bony hands on my shoulder, but I slapped it off.
"If you won't take my condition, then, don't bother! I'm not changing my mind about this. There will be no dating until we graduate. If you won't be patient enough for that, then, you don't deserve ."
I turned and headed down the hall.
"Storm!"
She yelled, but I didn't stop. I kept my entire focus on the hall and not on her.
If only she will understand that I don't want her. Hell, I've never even felt anything for her, not as a friend and certainly not as a lover.
I just see it as a restricting cage my parents placed on .
I turned the corner, expecting to see the oga, cussing and stamping his feet, but I didn't see him.
Instead, I saw the books he was holding, on the ground, with no sight of the oga.
"Where did he go to?" I wondered aloud.
Could it be that he was only pretending to be a good student?
No, that can't be the case.
I carried the books up.
I will just take it to the teacher before I set out to look for him.
A smile broke out on my face at the thought of the look of shock that will be on the Oga's face when he returned to get the books but won't find them.
He, he, he.
I dropped the book in the teacher's staff room before I proceeded to look for the Oga.
He wasn't at the cafeteria.
The only person there was his roommate, who was stuffing his face with beans.
I would have asked him about his friend, but I figured it will be awkward to do that. Instead, I set out, to search for the Oga.
"I bet that Oga is still shaking in the ditch!" An Alpha laughed, not too far from where I was.
Though I would have ignored them like I always did, the ntion of an Oga, caused to furrow my brows.
Could it be that they have caught the Oga?
I silently followed the Alphas and Betas through the school until they got to the Alphas' dorm.
For a mont, I wanted to turn back, but the thoughts of the oga they were referring to, being the sa one I'm looking for, made hasten after that.
When they ca to the garden, I realized the Oga I've been looking for, is busy playing the hero.
I didn't barge in, I stood at a distance and watched them, to know of the right ti to swoop in and save the day. But that stupid Beta had to do my job.
Pissed, I watched them converse before the Oga carried the female oga he had just saved.
Seeing her in his arms made feel emotions which were foreign to . I felt the need to rip the female oga from his arms, but I quelled down the urge to do so.
I silently followed them back to the Oga's dorm and watched them act like cute couples.
Goddess.
I angrily tugged on my hair.
Seeing them acting so close made so angry that I had to trample down the urge to match over there, and fling—
Wait, what the hell am I thinking about?
"Oh my, so Ogas are also two-tirs?" I couldn't help but mock.
I folded my arms and pursed my lips.
The Oga turned at the sound of my voice. He looked stunned for a mont before he masked his expression.
"What's wrong?" He placed both hands on his waist. "What do you want?"
"Never pegged you as a playboy." I took a step towards him. "First, you were flirting with the Beta, and now, you are doing the sa with an Oga, behind his back." I raised a challenging brow at him.
I don't know why, but I wanted him to deny those words.
"What concern of that is yours?" He glared at . "I can see you have so much ti in your hands that you know what to do with it."
"Why? Aren't you afraid that I will report you to your Beta, darling?"
He scoffed. "I don't have the ti to waste on a stinky Alpha like you. Unlike soone, I have sothing precious to do with my ti." He turned and hurried towards the hall he left the books at.
Oh.
Could it be that he discarded the books there, and rushed over to save the Oga?
"Why are you always pissed with ? You weren't this way with the Beta and Oga." I lazily followed him.
"That's because you are a douche!" He suddenly stopped. "Stop following everywhere. Surely, you have sothing precious to do with your ti, don't you?"
"There can be nothing as precious as following you." I smirked, "you are one funny oga."
He scoffed. "Do you think bullying others is fun? Do you get a kick out of it?"
"Of course," I closed the distance between us and leaned in so close that I felt his breath on . "I get a kick from riling you up, Oga." I held his hands.
"Let go of , you bastard!" He slapped my hand off him and stepped back. "I don't know what you hope to achieve by pissing off but know this. I'm warning you. Steer clear!"
"What if I don't want to do that, oga?" I cocked my head to the side. "Do you think you can defeat ?"
He smirked, "try ."
He turned and left, while I watched him with a smirk on my face.
Teasing him is getting fun.
I guess the school year wouldn't be as boring as last year was, with Mara following like a moth to a fla.
Now, I have sothing interesting to look forward to, each day.
