"Hmm?" They had just finished their lunch, with all the creatures around them, and most of them had gone to their daily lives in the forest.
Izzy loved them all quite a bit, but she knew getting attached to these creatures wasn’t a good thing. She couldn’t be with them for long even if she wanted to... they were beings of this forest. And they belonged here.
Still, she was having fun with what had stayed behind for a while, like the rabbit family, and was playing with them when KiRA suddenly felt sothing.
"Uni?"
[{ Yes master. I felt that as well. }]
The bloodthirst.
It was the killing intent that only those with a powerful will to kill could show.
"Hmm? Did sothing happen?"
It wasn’t nearby but his heightened senses and his sensitivity to Mana inford him of the distant ’people’ that were showing this bloodthirst.
"Can you go and take a look? Be quick, there might be soone in danger." Standing up with a concerned look, KiRA looked at confused Izzy and shook his head when he saw the rabbit mother picking up on sothing as well.
"Viii."
The mother said her goodbye to the three, and while the children wanted to play a little more, she dragged them with them, away from the calm place.
"It seems like there are murderers around here," KiRA inford the confused Izzy and those words were enough for her to understand the situation.
"Let’s be careful. We don’t know how many there are yet." He packed up the rug and the food basket and placed everything back in his inventory.
Izzy was also ready to leave, however before they left the warm place, she kissed him a thanks for the fun lunch.
She knew she was going to have a tough few weeks but if they were going to have a lunch like this every day, then a few hours of searching around was not that bad.
[{ Master. Found them! }]
She knew it was still going to be boring but the two moved first. She could think about those things later.
-Shrrrrr...!
The two of them had leveled up quite a bit and thanks to the demoness, even Izzy had crossed (Level-25). Both of them were pretty strong compared to the other players, however, it may not be enough against the murderers that grew on the deaths of the other players.
"Use the {Mind link} from here on out, Izzy."
[{ "Roger that." }]
When it ca to the player killers within the tower, the scales were completely different from dealing with monsters, corrupt monsters, or beasts.
These humans were smarter. They were criminals who killed for the sake of killing and not because they had to.
They were evil. The ones that the association as well as the northern forces were targeting vigorously right now.
’I didn’t think I’d find one so soon.’
They were in a part of the forest that wasn’t very famous. If soone was here, then it ant they had co here after either running away from sothing in the northern forest area or by spawning here randomly at the start.
’They must have been chased here.’
Unity saw a group of six people fighting against a three person group. The three seed to be covered in blood, wearing dark capes and having strange dark energy around them.
Unity knew this energy very well. They were murderers that grew from killing demons in human flesh that was nothing better than the demons.
[{ "Split from here. They’re right up ahead." }]
[{ "I’ll go. Cover without worrying." }]
[{ "Fine." }]
KiRA wasn’t taking charge here. He was going to provide support instead.
This wasn’t a fight against a monster but a human instead, so the strategy was different as well.
-Clank! Clank! Clank!
So tal clashing sounds were heard in the distance. There was also muffling noises of humans, panting noises shrouded behind explosions.
-Booooooooooooom!
The group that was fighting against the hooded killers had a mage among them who shot explosive fireballs at them.
They had a sword user, an archer, a tall shield user, and all of them seed to be pretty skilled individuals.
They also had a porter with them who seed to be carrying their loot and spoils, soone the entire group was trying to protect right now.
The three that were attacking the group were not fighting them directly. They were chipping away at the group’s pillars, attacking their mage and sword user one by one.
As they faced them, the killers had smirks on their faces as if they enjoyed every bit of the scenario.
They played with them as if they were predators praying with their food.
"Haaa..."
"How... long, captain?"
The group was on the verge of falling apart. The killers were enjoying it till the end. All of them looked grim with the mages nearing [Mana Overflow], and soon they would all have fallen to these murderer’s blades... had it not been for their saviors.
-Swiiiiiiiiiiiish!
Covered in Holy power, buffed with just the energy, Izzy used the strength of her stats as well as her normal footwork and closed in on one of the murderers in an instant.
"...!"
She ca out of the blue, catching them off guard. And as soon as she appeared, she punched the predator in the worst place possible– breaking the balls and shattering their arrogance.
-Swish!
The killer fell to the ground without even being able to make any sounds, stunning the two partners further.
"...!"
But, even they had the sa fate as the first one as Izzy closed the gap between them using her highly trained Close Quarter Combat techniques.
She may be sensitive to Mana but, when it ca to hand-to-hand combat, she was much better than both Ziggy and KiRA.
There was a reason the two of them feared her. If they were talking about raw fighting power, there was no way they would win against her. In a battle of strategy, they would be lucky to even survive a few minutes against this fearso force.
-Thud. Thud. Thud.
The three killers were nothing more than a dummy in front of her. She took them down faster than the mage was able to blink, stunning the entire group of six...
"Cool..."
"Damn."
"Who... is she?"
So of them were guards while so were instantly relieved to at least be freed of the killers.
The main problem had been taken care of.
"Are you all alright?"
And from the looks of it, it did not seem like she was soone who intended to hurt any of them.
Which relieved the group for the ti being...
