Chapter 82: Big Snake Mobius
The Land of Healing, Life. This nation was a gathering place for patients with serious illnesses from all over the world. "No Honkai Energy readings... Elysia, you’ve been hiding a secret like this?" a magnetic and alluring voice spoke.
The person Elysia had brought with her was a green-haired woman in a white lab coat. However, she looked to be in rough shape, with dark circles under her eyes that suggested she had been working overti for many days straight.
It was Mobius. And not "Little Snake Mobius," but "Big Snake Mobius." Her figure was magnificent—mature and full-bodied. She definitely wouldn’t have to sit at the kids’ table with little Griseo.
Damn that Sesa-type Honkai Beast factor, Kenji thought. It was responsible for slowly shrinking Big Snake Mobius’s body into Little Snake Mobius. Couldn’t the evolution have at least allowed her to keep her figure after death?
At this point in ti, Mobius likely hadn’t yet t the truly flawless person, Klein, and was buried under a mountain of work.
Mobius stared at Elysia with deep, searching eyes.
So, Elysia, who are you, really?
The ability to travel to another world... Mobius realized she still didn’t understand Elysia at all. What was Elysia’s true self?

"Mobius, you’ve looked so tired these past few days, so I brought you here today to relax a little♪" Elysia said with a cheerful grin, standing behind Mobius with her hands on her shoulders.
You’d better thank your big sister Elysia for this, Big Snake.
"Fine," Mobius conceded after a mont’s thought. The research on the Sesa-type Honkai Beast had indeed kept her too excited to sleep properly for days.
"Kenji, although you already know her, let introduce you. This is Mobius, a good friend of mine♪"
"Who said I was friends with you?" Mobius retorted stubbornly.
This was the first ti Kenji had t Mobius in person, and she was just as sharp-tongued as the legends claid. No wonder that even after the Herrscher of the End had scoured the planet, she still managed to leave behind a mouth that could utter: "Elysia, you’ve gotten fat."
Little Snake Mobius was great, but the Big Snake Mobius before him was even better. Of course, if she could be both big and small, then that last statent could be disregarded.
"You two seem to have a good relationship. Is he your boyfriend, Elysia?" Mobius asked, sizing Kenji up with great interest. A perfect little guinea pig. His physique is quite impressive. Elysia has good taste; this pink fatty sure knows how to pick them.
"Of course not♪" Elysia’s cheeks flushed slightly as she shook her head.
"Heh. Even if you’re not, your relationship definitely isn’t ordinary," Mobius said, rolling her eyes.
"Mobius, let give you a simple introduction. This is the Gourt World. Honkai doesn’t exist here," Kenji explained.
"Now I rember. The strange foods you’re always giving , Elysia... they co from this world," Mobius said, her brow raising in realization. "I have a question. I detected a very special type of cell in those foods. What is it?"
Kenji wasn’t surprised by the question. The Gourd-Dropping Hermit had ntioned three ways to introduce Gourt Cells into the body: ingestion, direct injection, and what Kenji believed was the third thod—being born with them. Ingestion worked because the ingredients themselves contained trace amounts of Gourt Cells, making it the slowest thod, one that might never lead to an awakening in a person’s lifeti.
"They’re called Gourt Cells, a unique type of cell native to this world," Kenji explained. "When they successfully rge with a human body, they allow the host to evolve and gain superhuman strength. The more delicious the food one eats, the stronger they beco. But if the integration fails, the host either dies or is corrupted and transforms into a monster."
The ancestors of the inhabitants of the Gourt World had been transford by the injection of Gourt Cells, passing those altered genetics down to their descendants, who were no longer truly human. For geniuses like Ruan i and Mobius, researching a special and ancient entity like Gourt Cells would be no easy task.
Evolution...
That word struck a deep chord with Mobius. Gourt Cells might be the key, but for her, they were filled with too many unknowns and uncertainties. Her current research was focused almost entirely on Honkai Beasts; she had virtually no data on Gourt Cells and would need to consider this very carefully.
"Alright, Mobius, I brought you here to relax♪" Elysia interrupted her thoughts, pushing her towards the main area of the Land of Healing. With Atashino as their local guide, they avoided a lot of potential trouble.
"Healer Cacti. They stimulate pressure points to regulate your body’s energy flow, relieving soreness and fatigue," Atashino explained.
Human-shaped green cacti were laid out on the ground, looking like beds of nails. Mobius frowned. If she lay down on that, wouldn’t she be turned into a pincushion?
"Here you go♪"
Elysia selected a cactus that matched Mobius’s size and, before she could even react, tossed her onto it.
"Ah! Elysia, you big fat woman!" Mobius shrieked, though it was unclear if it was from the shock of the cactus or the shock of Elysia’s actions.
"Are they... friends?" Atashino’s mouth twitched.
"That’s right. This is how good friends treat each other," Kenji nodded sagely. Aren’t friends ant to be ssed with? That was the whole point of having good friends: sharing good things and sharing good fun.
Atashino looked on, completely bewildered by this type of friendship.
"Elysia, could you please give a warning next ti? Also, I can walk on my own."
After the cactus acupuncture session, Mobius’s complexion had improved significantly. She couldn’t help but stretch languidly, but she still shot Elysia a dirty look.
I knew it. I really do hate Elysia the most.
"But wasn’t the effect great?" Elysia just smiled.
Kenji lay down to try it himself and was instantly invigorated. Sweep away fatigue, be yourself again!
The next stop was the giant Hot Spring Shark. The Doctor Fish inside, though small, were incredibly effective. There were fish that cleared arterial blockages, so that sucked out excess subcutaneous fat, others that ate tumors, and even so that whitened the skin.
Back on his original Earth, these would have been blockbuster services, worth more than money could asure. He could make a fortune with this, charging even more than they did here. After all, this was all-natural and highly effective.
"These fish also evolved this way because of Gourt Cells, didn’t they?" Mobius asked in astonishnt. She could imdiately see the imnse value of these Doctor Fish. The ones that could eat malignant tumors, for example, were life-saving. While 200,000 yen an hour wasn’t cheap, having money you couldn’t spend because you were dead was the real tragedy.
Kenji nodded. If sothing couldn’t be explained, Gourt Cells were usually the answer.
"Incredible," Mobius breathed.
After experiencing a few more treatnts, Mobius’s earlier exhaustion had completely vanished. She was already considering having Elysia bring her back to this world for a spa day the next ti she pulled too many all-nighters.
Kenji’s inner thoughts: No, I have a feeling that when the ti cos, Klein will need this more than you do.
