Waking from her terrifying nightmare, Alisha realized she was not in the bed, but at the hospital instead.
She tried to move her neck but her head ached terribly. So she gave up moving and just rotated her eyes around the room.
She saw the machines and infusion bag beside the bed, and she saw Ren standing on the other side. His back was to her, and he was mixing sothing.
She opened her mouth, wanting to call his na. But her lips were extrely dry, and her throat was so sore she dared not make a sound. As a result, she could only turn her head a bit, to look at Ren, who was busy making sothing for her.
They had only known each other for less than a day but he was doing so much for her.
When she saw Ren almost throw the spoon away, but then test it in his mouth to see if it was too hot, she could not help but smile.
Her Uncle was too cute!!
She could not help but laugh seeing that. Her slow laughter was like a sparkle of light in a dark night.
The soft laughter interrupted Ren and he looked back to see Alisha staring at him with bright eyes.
Suddenly he felt a bit shy as he said.
"Eh, it is still hot… You're awake?"
It was an obvious question.
Alisha wanted to nod her head, but she didn't have the energy, so she just smiled softly.
"Here, finish this."
Ren gave the cup and spoon to Alisha, and she looked at the black pasty substance and frowned.
"What… is this?"
She asked with an expression that said that she didn't want to drink it.
"Sesa paste!!"
In order to get it, Ren had spent a long ti looking for it, and had to go so distance to a larger Chinese supermarket.
He did all this while Alisha was still unconscious. The "black sesa paste" was a common redy in China.
A strong fragrance ca from the cup and went up Alisha's nose. She took a deep breath and tried to take in the sll. It was definitely the sll of sesa.
She really wanted to try the sesa paste, but her hands had no strength to hold the cup and carry the spoon to her mouth.
Seeing that Alisha hesitated, Ren then realized the reason. Patients often need soone to feed them when they're sick.
How could he forget that? So, he took the spoon from Alisha's hand and held it in front of his own mouth.
Alisha stared at him and realized that Ren was actually blowing on it because he did not want the paste to burn her.
She lowered her head and softly said. She was feeling really grateful in her heart.
"Thank you."
"Thanks for what?"
Ren put the spoon in front of her face.
"We've only known each other…"
Ren gently pushed the spoon into her mouth to stop her from speaking.
Hearing Alisha talk like this, Ren shrugged his shoulders and said.
"I just didn't need the hassle of the police asking why a pretty girl died in my room? They will not even listen to as I am not even a local."
Alisha had not expected his teasing reply. He had a way with talking to girls.
In response, she pretended to pout angrily and bit the spoon hard inside of her mouth. Ren was surprised at the girl's reaction. He tried to take the spoon out of her mouth and failed. He stared at her.
Alisha who was still biting the spoon, gave him a triumphant look.
Ren laughed, took out his phone, opened the cara function, and pointed it at Alisha.
"What are you… ah?!"
Alisha, alard, forgot the spoon, opened her mouth to protest, and the spoon dropped onto the bed.
At that exact mont.
'Kacha!'
Ren pressed the cara button. The photo ca out great.
"It's a great photo."
"It's not fair."
Alisha mumbled like she was greatly wronged but Ren just laughed. He was earlier worried about her condition but now, he was relieved that she was fine.
"It's fair because I am a bad person and a bad person can do anything."
Alisha shook her head when she heard that. She looked at Ren with a smile as she said.
"No, uncle, you are a good person. A really good person!!"
Ren and Alisha both laughed after that but their laughter soon died down when Ren heard soone calling him from behind.
"Ren."
He turned around and saw his mother and father standing there.
'How should I explain it?'
Ren scratched his head as he thought about what to say to his parents.

"I have already explained it to you several tis. I won't co ho and I will surely not stop acting. Stop trying to force your ways on ."
In a room, Xiao Rin was talking to soone on the phone. Her expression was one of angst and she was tightly clenching on the bed sheets.
-I don't want to hear it this ti. Why do you hate your family so much? We are not your enemies.
There was a female voice on the other side of the phone. Xiao Rin sighed when she heard that.
She didn't know how many tis she had heard the sa sentence. She was sick of it now.
"I am telling you this last ti. Please don't interfere with my life."
-I have all the rights to interfere with it and you are still a child.
"I can take care of myself."
-I don't think so. You yourself know that you can't take care of yourself.
"I can and please stop disturbing during work. Bye!!"
-Wait! Don't end the....
Before the female voice can say anything else, Xiao Rin has already ended the phone.
She sighed with dropped shoulders as she lowered her head. In the quiet room, she softly muttered.
"Brother Ren, when will you co back?"
