As everyone knows, there are very few forensic doctors in Japan Police Station. People who have watched "Unnatural Death" know that in Japan, most murder cases don’t involve autopsies; the cause of death is determined solely based on the criminal police’s experience.

But considering Akishino Mako is a royal family mber, special arrangents should include an autopsy. Minamoto Tamako was worried that the handling officers might be irresponsible, hence her question.

Ono Ken explained, "Madam Nakako couldn’t bear to let outsiders dissect the young lady’s body, so Mr. Fukuyama did it instead. He perford a basic autopsy without damaging the body, confirming that she... drowned to death."

Yazaki Momo caught the scent of gossip and quickly asked, "Is Mr. Fukuyama the butler?"

"He is Miss Akishino’s personal doctor, responsible for her routine check-ups," Ono Ken replied.

In Minamoto Tamako’s view, the case was handled rather carelessly. But upon further thought, there seed to be no distinct doubts.

When Akishino Mako jumped, Ono Ken was in the kitchen, with the chefs as witnesses; Nakako was in the room asleep, with no motive for murder; Dr. Fukuyama Toshin appeared to be the biggest suspect, but in reality, he was the least. If he were the real culprit, why would he jump into the pond to save her? He could just pretend not to hear the splash.

After much contemplation, suicide seed to be the most reasonable explanation.

But then again, why would Miss Akishino commit suicide?

Could it be that it was truly the work of ground spirits? Miss Akishino’s past ghost encounters, could it be seeing the spirits imprisoned here? And was the act of suicide all due to the curse imprinting?

Minamoto Tamako’s mind conjures unpleasant guesses, prompting her to recall watching "Spirit dium Secret" last night, which ntioned ’evil spirits possession’ incidents—where vengeful spirits possess weak individuals, controlling their bodies to perform abnormal actions.

No, no! One must trust science!

Minamoto Tamako shook her head repeatedly, dispelling the chaotic thoughts from her mind.

Yazaki Momo suggested going to the pond for a walk, and no one else objected. Ono Ken led the three downstairs and, just as they stepped out of the inner hall, they ran into Fujiwara Section Chief in the corridor. He had grown impatient waiting in the eting room and stepped outside for fresh air and a smoke, spotting Ono Ken entertaining other guests.

Speaking fairly, Fujiwara Homare could be considered handso, only falling short with his height, just over 160 cm, and counting the gelled airplane hair, scarcely reaching beyond 170 cm.

His trench coat was lined with burgundy, paired with a dark green shirt. While stylish, he hardly looked like a criminal police officer.

With a cigarette dangling from his lips, Fujiwara Homare glanced sidelong at Ono Ken: "What’s going on? I’ve been calling for a while, and didn’t even get a cup of tea. Doesn’t Madam Nakako discipline you servants?"

After saying this, his gaze wandered, sweeping past Fushimi Roku, pausing briefly on Yazaki Momo’s chest, and finally landing on Minamoto Tamako’s face: "Oh, Momo, is this your colleague? Cute."

"Ah, no, they are..."

Before Yazaki Momo finished speaking, Fujiwara Homare pulled out a shiny gold business card from his collar, printed with his na and contact information in ornate script, as flashy as it gets.

Clasping the card between two fingers, he handed it to Minamoto Tamako, smiling as he said, "Let’s have dinner soti."

Minamoto Tamako pinched her nose, as she detested the sll of smoke. People around her rarely smoked in her presence, and when encountering smokers, she’d usually steer clear. Unable to avoid it now, she reluctantly extended a hand to accept the card, quietly saying, "I’m Minamoto Tamako, a trainee criminal police officer at the Feng Island Police Station, pleased to et you."

She gave a tug, but it didn’t budge. Looking up, she saw Fujiwara Homare gripping one corner of the card firmly, demanding gravely, "Do you look down on ?"

"Uh... What, what’s wrong?" Minamoto Tamako couldn’t fathom her mistake.

"Take my card with both hands! Didn’t your parents teach you any manners?!" Fujiwara Homare’s stare was nacing, as if he’d tear her apart alive: "Are you, a re probationary trainee not even a formal criminal police officer, unaware of saluting and greeting the section chief?!"

"I-I’m sorry, Section Chief!"

Minamoto Tamako hurriedly received the card with both hands, like formally eting a leader.

Fujiwara Homare positioned himself with an authoritative stance, instructing Minamoto Tamako to stand at attention, asking why she ca here. She felt guilty, glancing fleetingly at Yazaki Momo, and began stamring lies: "B-because, I’m a fan of the supernatural, and heard that there are ground spirits here, so... I ca to take a look."

"You’re off duty these days?" Fujiwara Homare raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, yes."

Minamoto Tamako didn’t know why he asked that, feeling worried that Miss Yazaki’s complaint about assistance in the investigation might slip out.

"Then accompany for dinner tomorrow night." Fujiwara Homare commanded with a raised eyebrow, his tone indisputable.

"Eh? W-why?" Minamoto Tamako was baffled.

"Do you have brain issues? How did you pass the initial training like this? A senior offers you an opportunity, intending to train you, and you don’t know to cherish it?"

He added a defensive statent: "Don’t misunderstand, this is a necessary work engagent."

Minamoto Tamako thought, truly, one becos a section chief at a young age due to such earnestness. In daily life, he remains rigorous and serious, never forgetting to ntor his juniors, even taking them along for social engagents.

Such a good thing, she felt she shouldn’t enjoy it alone, prompting her to give Fushimi Roku a glance, hinting for him to salute the senior promptly. Then, when they dined with the ntor, learning about career advancent together would be delightful, wouldn’t it?

Fushimi Roku exchanged a glance with her, conveying understanding. Minamoto Tamako rejoiced internally, never expecting Mr. Fu Jian to be so astute; it seed they were quite in sync!

"Hello, I am Spirit dium Detective Fushimi Roku," he extended a hand: "Pleased to et you."

Minamoto Tamako snapped back, thinking it was close; she nearly blew their cover, with Ono Ken observing at the side! Mr. Fu Jian’s quick thinking, right in such a tense mont, to maintain his act...

Fujiwara Homare looked on suspiciously, darting looks at both of them: "You two know each other?"

As the words fell, Fushimi Roku shook his head, and Minamoto Tamako nodded.

The two exchanged glances, with Minamoto Tamako hurriedly shaking her head, while Fushimi Roku began nodding.

"What’s going on? Are you toying with ?" Fujiwara Homare’s tone was hostile.

Yazaki Momo quickly interjected, saying, "They t on the way here."

Minamoto Tamako imdiately chid in: "Yes, yes, that’s it!"

Fujiwara Homare let out an ’oh’, giving Fushimi Roku a sidelong glance; a spirit dium detective, clearly a na for con artists.

One Oogami Nui was enough to vex him, now here ca another unheard-of guy. Fujiwara Homare gestured for Fushimi Roku to crouch down: "Who sent you here? Do you even know where this is?"

Fushimi Roku didn’t move, looking down at him with a gaze reserved for fools.
