Early September, Friday.

Brilliant High School started today, and at six in the morning, the familiar phone alarm rang.

Aozawa woke up from his sleep and yawned.

The current powers of the Nightmare Party have weakened to the point where it can only pull a hundred people into dreamland, and a layer of fog shrouds the surface of the dream ball, preventing him from peeking into all the dream balls.

But this approach actually makes Aozawa enjoy diving into other people's dream balls, like opening a blind box—the fun is in not knowing what dream is inside.

Absurd, ridiculous, filled with pink vibes; each dream is srizing.

This also led to him appearing to sleep at nine but actually going to bed at around eleven or twelve.

Sotis, when he plays too much, he ends up going to sleep at one in the morning, and yawns are unavoidable the next day.

He stretched, leaped up, landed on the ground, and put on his Brilliant High School uniform.

Aozawa stood in front of the mirror and checked himself out; still a handso high school boy.

He opened the sliding door, with a long corridor connecting all the rooms on the lower level.

Aozawa headed towards the washroom, brushed his teeth, washed his face, then turned towards the living room.

The rectangular window where dishes were passed through opened.

Morimoto Chiyoda bent over, long black hair draped over her shoulders, three unbuttoned collars revealing a view Aozawa found intoxicating, "Aozawa, place the sandwiches on the table."

"Sure~"

Aozawa replied with a smile, quickly stepping forward to take out two plates of sandwiches and arranging them on the table, "Anything else?"

"I baked so soft cake."

Morimoto Chiyoda said, directing him further, "Make so instant coffee, and add sugar."

"No problem."

Aozawa picked up the thermal kettle, quickly brewed two cups of coffee, and put in half a packet of sugar.

For his cup, he added one and a half packets of sugar.

Chiyoda doesn't like her coffee too sweet, often adding just half a packet of sugar.

Aozawa didn't mind those details.

In a bit, Morimoto Chiyoda walked out holding a plate piled with a cake tower, placed it in the middle of the table, and grinned, "Did you forget your sumr howork?"

"Chiyoda, I've already finished it long ago."

Aozawa shrugged, picking up a cake, "I don't need your reminder."

Morimoto Chiyoda took a sip of instant coffee and said leisurely, "I wasn't talking about you; I was asking you to remind Iroha."

"Chiyoda."

Aozawa was about to speak up for Ayatsuki Ayaka, thinking there was no need for such reminders, but the severity of the issue suddenly dawned on him.

Iroha is the type of student who realizes there's a final exam only at the end of the term...

Oh no!

He imdiately pulled out his phone and sent a ssage, "Iroha, is your sumr howork done yet?"

Not just this; he also ssaged Hojo Tetsuji, thinking he too might have forgotten about the sumr howork.

...

"Nani?!"

The extrely shocked shout almost blew the roof off the Akizuki Residence, and Ayatsuki Ayaka's expression shifted from joy to fright, then to a disbelief that wanted to escape reality.

In such a short ti, her face-changing skills could rival that of Sichuan opera actors from so country.

Ayaka almost dropped her donut, looking tense, "What happened?"

Ayatsuki Ayaka, looking distressed and tearless, said, "I haven't even touched my sumr howork at all.

Why is school starting today?!"

"You were still looking forward to it yesterday, saying you could see Aozawa every day once school starts again."

Facing her sister's teasing, Ayatsuki Ayaka replied with grievance, "But you didn't tell that I had to do my sumr howork."

"Don't bla ; I reminded you several tis. It's your pig brain that always says 'I know, I know' but forgets about the howork after two or three seconds.

Do you have fish mory?"

Ayaka didn't want to cover for her sister's foolishness, imdiately turning into the stern elder, ready to recount the sins of gluttony and laziness committed during the sumr vacation.

Ayatsuki Ayaka had no intention of listening to her sister's long-winded lectures; she finished her breakfast, turned around, dashed into her bedroom, grabbed her backpack, and shouted, "I'm heading out."

"Be careful, don't fall."

"I'm not a child."

Ayatsuki Ayaka retorted to her sister's excessive concern and ran out of the house, her heart full of grief and indignation. Clearly a superpower user, yet unable to escape the clutches of sumr howork.

Is this the fate of a Japanese JK?

At this point, not wanting to face the Demon King's scolding, she had no choice but to use her trump card—copying a friend's sumr howork.

She quickly mined the golden intellect of her brain from dense sand, ssaging her friends to gather while calculating the ti needed to copy the howork.

Ayatsuki Ayaka hadn't run far before she spotted Miyahara Kaoru, whom she rarely saw over the sumr.

She was leaning against the wall, her fashion still as trendy, with several small green turtle ornants pinned on her short skirt.

But her face looked sowhat haggard, with dark circles that even makeup couldn't hide, and her eyes were filled with traces of blood.

"Good morning, Iroha."

"Kaoru, what happened to you?"

Ayatsuki Ayaka tossed her sumr howork concerns into the clouds, more worried about her friend's health.

"Haha."

Miyahara Kaoru chuckled.

Since that night, she has been thinking about Iroha and Aozawa's destiny together, tossing and turning, unable to sleep.

This sign becos more obvious as the start of school approaches.

"There must be a lot of work at the farm back ho."

Takahashi Saeko hurried over, seeing the two had just t, she felt relieved.

She quickly joined the conversation, putting her arm around Miyahara Kaoru's shoulder to prevent her from acting on impulse, and said with a smile: "Look, our little beauty has beco so thin, the dark circles under her eyes are so obvious, so pitiful~"

To this well-aning but actually teasing gesture, Miyahara Kaoru really wanted to punch that cheeky face. What kind of best friend is this!

Ayatsuki Ayaka sighed: "It's really not easy on the big farm, you must take naps in class to catch up on sleep."

"Haha, that makes sense."

Miyahara Kaoru could only laugh along, crying silently inside.

Yet, Takahashi Saeko kept adding salt to the wound, asking: "Iroha, did you and Aozawa get together eight tis during the sumr break?"

"N-No way that many!"

Ayatsuki Ayaka blushed instantly, stamring shyly: "Only three tis, including dreams it'd be four."

Miyahara Kaoru felt a taphorical arrow shot through her heart, turning to glare at Takahashi Saeko with eyes full of murderous intent.

"Alright, let's end this topic here."

Tama Chan also ran over, worried that Kaoru couldn't control herself, so she blocked the way ahead of ti.

Looking at it now, she might have worried too much as she noticed the green turtle charm motivating Kaoru.

She shifted the topic back to the main issue, "Iroha, why did you urgently call us over?"

"Oh, right!"

Ayatsuki Ayaka suddenly rembered she hadn't done her sumr howork, "Maru, Saeko, Kaoru, can I borrow your sumr howork to copy?"

"Is that how you ask for a favor?"

Hearing Tama Chan's elongated tone, Ayatsuki Ayaka skillfully clasped her hands together, staring at the three with a pitiful expression, saying: "Maru-sama, Saeko-sama, Kaoru-sama, as long as you give your sumr howork, I'm willing to serve you loyally."

"That's more like the right attitude."

Takahashi Saeko laughed: "Let's go, we'll lend them to you when we get to school."

When it ca to Ayatsuki Ayaka's studies, the three of them had already given up hope, so they didn't insist on doing the howork themselves but directly offered the answers for her to copy.

Ayatsuki Ayaka imdiately smiled and asked: "Can you help copy it?"

Bang, bang, bang, three fists gently knocked on Ayatsuki Ayaka's head, wiping away her smile.

She had no choice but to copy it herself.

...

The sumr vacation ended so quickly.

Morimoto Chiyoda couldn't help but sigh in her heart about how fast ti flies.

Thinking carefully, she realized that she and Aozawa didn't watch a single fireworks festival this sumr.

What a loss.

Every year, Morimoto Chiyoda and Aozawa would watch it together, but this year, due to her continuous promotions, her workload increased, leaving no ti for the fireworks festival.

Sigh, the woods by the fireworks are such a precious place for couples.

Morimoto Chiyoda felt her heart ache.

Beep beep, her Bluetooth headset indicated a call coming in, she quickly answered it while on her way to work — in fact, on her way to work.

"Morimoto, I'm facing a bit of trouble right now."

"Jack Norbit, what trouble are you having?"

Morimoto Chiyoda casually retorted.

Jack was about to ask why he was given a Japanese surna but suddenly gave up, thinking such things weren't important, "Well, it's about HQ, they sent a White House advisor to Tokyo the day before yesterday."

"Did he find out about your embezzlent and misconduct?"

"Of course not, I have always been clean and have never engaged in any misconduct."

Jack's confident declaration received no response from the other side of the call, causing a flicker of embarrassnt on his face. He then continued: "The White House advisor requested to conduct inquiries at the Bio-Nineteen Laboratory, concerning the case of Iwaai Takehiro.

He believes that Iwaai Takehiro is under Zhong Theos's hypnosis, not due to high-concentration stimulants from the laboratory, he wants to apply to view the so-called special stimulant and funding issues."

"What does this have to do with you?"

Morimoto Chiyoda didn't quite understand, Bio-Nineteen Laboratory wasn't under the jurisdiction or monitoring of the CIA.

It belongs to an overseas subordinate institution under the U.S. Departnt of Energy, which has another set of regulatory procedures.

The CIA's involvent would be overstepping boundaries.

Jack showed a bitter smile: "The problem lies there, Bio-Nineteen Laboratory refused Frans's visit, considering him unreasonable.

Frans, in turn, requested us at the CIA to diate, to investigate the Bio-Nineteen Laboratory, claiming it has a significant connection to Dio."

"Did you agree to it?"

"I actually wanted to ask you how to refuse him."

"Does Frans hold a significant position at the White House?"

"I heard that the President dislikes him and kicked him to Tokyo."

"Then what's bothering you, as the head of the CIA Japanese Branch, just say you're busy, and tell him to get lost."

Morimoto Chiyoda didn't need to think twice, suggesting the simplest solution, using authority to pressure people.

Jack suddenly realized.

He held a bit of respect for those intellectuals, forgetting that with his current position, he could simply say no to them.

"Alright, I'll reject him imdiately."

Jack didn't want to offend the Departnt of Energy, nor did he believe Frans's delusions, claiming Dio might be a student or teacher.

What a joke.
