Chapter 667: 380 Chapter 667: 380 “Xien Waidao, why are you calling ? Holy crap, what’s all this?”
Seeing the Black Tech in its current state, the Monkey was utterly shocked.
Since when did the ga have this feature?
Is this abstract art sothing people my age should be looking at?
In an instant, the Monkey’s brain was flooded with all sorts of age-inappropriate content like “Multiple Personality Detective,” and then he cautioned, “Did you guys install a MOD? You can’t just randomly add adult-only Easter eggs, you know. These gas are already pretty sensitive.”
Xien Waidao patted the Monkey on the shoulder, “Relax, it’s an in-ga Easter egg, nothing like sensitive skin. Besides, these days, who could even mod a ga from Fang Cheng Studio?”
“Good point.”
The Monkey’s go-to character here was also a monkey.
One saw a golden macaque monkey circling the little flower that had beco the Black Tech a few tis, then he said in confusion, “Weird, since when did ‘Animal Crisis’ have this Easter egg? Why haven’t I heard Liu Bei ntion it?”
“Must be your boss’s twisted sense of humor. I can tell now, your boss is one of those guys who can’t go a day without sneaking so personal touch into his gas. That said, your boss and I are quite alike; I definitely need to et him if I get the chance.”
The Monkey looked at Xien Waidao and suddenly felt that his own boss would absolutely not like Xien Waidao.
Maybe he’d want to punch him on sight.
Although the Monkey had never seen the boss angry or hitting soone, he just had the feeling his boss would do that sort of thing.
After learning about what Xien Waidao and Black Tech had planned, the Monkey nodded, feeling that this could be interesting.
Finding an Easter egg in a Fang Cheng Studio ga was fun in itself.
After all, his boss was well-known for loving to plant Easter eggs in gas, and one Easter egg could dramatically change the way a ga is played, often making it even more enjoyable.
Not just him; Liu Bei also loved hunting for Easter eggs in gas.
But Liu Bei was getting on in years; often his brain thought he could do it, but his hands would beg to differ.
After understanding the whole situation, the Monkey declared they were good to go, let’s begin.
Before starting the action, Xien Waidao specifically instructed, “Monkey, this might be a bit difficult, so keep an eye on and try to stop from being too reckless.”
“Don’t worry, with here, you can only go a tiny bit wild.”
Listening to their exchange, Mukuai 1234 on the side felt a bit more at ease.
The Monkey was a gifted individual personally endorsed by the Great Heavenly Lord, and with such a person around, Xien Waidao probably wouldn’t be able to cause too much trouble.
However, once the four of them agreed and the ga began, Mukuai 1234 understood what the Monkey ant by “a tiny bit.”
Because compared to the Monkey, Xien Waidao’s recklessness really could only be considered a tiny bit.
Right off the bat, the Monkey unsheathed his Ruyi Stick and joyously charged into the horde of zombies, dismissing everything else and starting to ss around.
Those who wield sticks always have a bit of a wild streak – it’s just that their idol is always the Monkey King; the crazier they get, the closer they are to their hero.
Ard with a heavy machine gun, Mukuai 1234 couldn’t stop the Monkey in ti and saw him plunge into the zombie crowd, then begin to swing his stick, killing his way through the incessant hordes of zombies.
“Holy crap! He’s been bitten! Holy crap! He’s back again! Holy crap, why is he provoking that elite now! Holy crap, he actually took down the elite!”
As if entering an uninhabited territory, the Monkey wielded his stick unbeatably, harvesting the zombies in front of him like crops, leaving Xien Waidao to realize he had nothing to do.
With a four-person team, the number of zombies attacking was four tis the normal situation, and usually, only teams with extrely good coordination could succeed. Yet now, the Monkey alone was managing it all.
“Picking the Monkey was the right move, I’m truly aweso,” Xien Waidao said proudly, “Hey, Mukuai 1234, why are you so far away from ? It’s dangerous, you know?”
“I feel it’s more dangerous to be near you,” Mukuai 1234 stated confidently.
As the Monkey continued to slaughter, piles of zombies accumulated around them. Despite the massiveness of the oncoming creatures, none was a match for the Monkey, who knocked each and every one of them dead with his stick.
Finally, after the one hundredth wave of zombies was cleared, the Monkey halted.
Standing aside with his stick, the Monkey said contentedly, “See, close combat weapons really are my thing; ranged weapons are just so weak.”
“Alright, we get it, you’re amazing. Black Tech, how’s it going over there?”
During team play, experience was split evenly among teammates to prevent so players from hogging all the kills, or from there being too great a level gap which could cause so players to fall behind later on.
So, even though Black Tech had simply stayed buried in the ground, he still received quite a bit of experience and leveled up significantly.
Before the next ga started, Black Tech reassigned all his skills comprehensively and then signaled Xien Waidao, the Monkey, and Mukuai 1234 to silence themselves so he could listen to the sounds coming from underground.
With his skills synergizing, Black Tech’s perceptual abilities had greatly improved. Even if the noises were chaotic, he could hear them crystal clear.
“#$#$#”
“&%¥%…#”
“¥%¥#¥%”
Although he could hear clearly, Black Tech realized he couldn’t understand a single word they were saying.
