Down in the lab where secret projects were being conducted, Mrs Horton was going over the silver tal gathered from space. From initial testing prior to this incident, she already knew how valuable the tal was and how it could amplify a woman’s powers, but now that she had gotten a lot of it, she wanted to develop technology to make it useful in the field.

"Any luck making this into a weapon?" She asked one of her lead engineers.

"Mrs Horton, this tal is extrely dense and is hard to cut through. Even these special laser cutters that were made to cut this don’t do so with ease. We need to co up with a better way to cut this tal."

Mrs Horton sighed. "That’s not what I asked."

"Sorry!" The engineer bowed. "W-Well, it’s very difficult to graft this into technology, even using won who can control tal. But, for primal weapons such as swords, spears, and such, we were able to craft a few of them." She handed Mrs Horton a sword.

"Simply touching this tal can make a woman’s power burst with new vigor. Test it."

Mrs Horton channeled her power through it, cutting the air, which then created a void that made the air in the lab nonexistent for the next ten seconds.

She had to make her own air bubble for the workers to breathe and so that the air pressure wouldn’t slam onto everyone, hurting them.

"What the heck? I did not an for that to happen! Let try using fire this ti." She ignited the sword, and the sword simply gained an orange-red hue. It looked as if it was glowing orange, but the fire was burning so intensely while rotating so smoothly that the flas didn’t even run wild.

When she went up to a target and tapped it, the target was sliced in half, even though Mrs Horton didn’t even attempt to cut the target. After getting cut in half, the target burst into flas and turned to ashes.

"Damn, this is insane." Mrs Horton was greatly impressed

"Right! And that’s just a weapon. We’ve also managed to create a bracelet so that it can amplify powers without getting in the way of anything. It would be pretty uncomfortable carrying a sword around all the ti, you know." She handed Mrs Horton the bracelet, but Mrs Horton didn’t take it.

"My powers are too... strong. How about you hand it to soone else to demonstrate?"

"Ahh, right. I can if you want. Check it out. My powers allow to see through objects, x-ray vision. But with this bracelet on. I can do more than that." She then demonstrated her abilities.

"I can see up to a microscopic level now, which is actually way creepier than it seems, and I can even extend my vision onto any inorganic substance I touch, see." She looked through the ground, then touched the ground.

The floor vanished as if it had been teleported elsewhere and was replaced with rock and dirt. In actuality, this was simply what the engineer was seeing.

"Amazing. And you have this buff as long as this tal is attached to you?" Mrs Horton asked

"That’s right. We haven’t had it long enough to test if there are any side effects, but we’re doing so as we speak."

Mrs Horton nodded. "Good. Also, make sure it’s not radioactive."

"Pwahaha! That was the first thing we tested. And, unfortunately, it is. Like, I’m actually dying right now. Blegh!" She coughed up blood. "That’s not good."

"Call a dic!" Mrs Horton shouted

"Wait! I’m kidding. It’s not radioactive. This is a blood packet that’s used in props and movies. Heh, I thought I’d play a prank on you. Did you like it?"

Mrs Horton laughed, finding the prank really good. "Thank you for giving a good laugh. Oh, and you’re fired."

"A-Ah. I-I understand."

Mrs Horton turned to leave the room. "By the way, I’m just kidding."

The engineer stood there in silence.

"This could work, but it’s pretty dangerous."

Jin has shown Tessa what he was working on so she could go over it to see if there was anything that needed to be looked over. He had already tested it on himself, and it proved to be successful, but that didn’t an it would work on others.

"Your body is different. Not only are you enhanced technologically, but your body was honed to the max, and you’ve undergone multiple body evolutions to house the current level of mana you have. Even though your current body is nowhere near the level of your main body, it’s still significantly stronger than the people of this world." Tessa pointed out.

"So people won’t be able to handle the effects of the bioelectrical field enhancent stimulant because their bodies are too weak. I knew this would happen. But if I lower the dosage, it wont be powerful enough to combat the Láspi."

Jin knew he could handle things without this stimulant, after all, Láspi’s only get strong after absorbing new material, and this Láspi was a new strand without any prior world-conquering events.

"Not necessarily. The won with stronger powers would be able to handle this stimulant. Also, if you use this with a, what do you call it, a power kit, then it could still work." Tessa pointed out.

Jin’s eyes lit up. "Right! I could also amplify the electrical signals using a power kit as well. This would make it even harder for the Láspi to dissolve a person. Food thinking, Tessa."

"I think you an, good thinking. You might wanna get sothing to eat."

"Yeah, maybe. But thanks for helping out. Did you co up with anything?" Jin asked

"I did, but it’s not as useful as yours in the short term."

He squinted his eyes. "Explain."

"I realized the reason why you were never able to kill the Láspi in your previous life. The central Láspi hive. With the central hive alive, the rest of the Láspi won’t die, even if you attack the colony hive mind, the ones who actually do the world conquering." She explained

Jin already knew this. "Right. It’s also a part of the reason why Zion blew up the Láspi planet."

Tessa nodded. "Right. But currently, there is no more Láspi planet."

Jin realized what she was talking about. "The colony Láspi is the only center they have to regenerate after total destruction. I know where it’s located, but I don’t know where it is specifically located."

"And that’s why this is a solution for the long term." Tessa handed Jin a bottle of grey liquid. "This can only be used on the Colony Hive mind. It wont affect the individual Láspi that you’ve encountered recently."

"Thanks. This is better than nothing. I’ll see what I can do with everything we’ve accomplished here. Thanks for taking my call."

She smiled at him. "No problem. Anything for a friend."

"So, unlimited access to your database?" He asked

"Fufu, fuck no." She vanished in a beam of light.

"Dammit."
