Even though it’s already afternoon, the amusent park is still bustling with visitors coming and going.

Justin Battleson and Charlotte Thompson stood there, two exceptionally attractive people, becoming a splendid sight in themselves.

"Is this where you wanted to co?" Justin asked, looking at Charlotte with a sowhat puzzled expression.

"The internet says the amusent park is the best place for couples to go on dates," Charlotte replied with a blink as if it were the most natural thing.

Justin responded by wrapping his arm around Charlotte’s waist, drawing her a bit closer into his embrace.

"That’s for couples on dates. We’re more like an old married couple, aren’t we?"

"Who’s an old married couple with you?" Charlotte shot Justin a glance, her expression both charmingly innocent and stunningly beautiful.

Then she took Justin’s hand and walked towards the entrance of the amusent park.

"I don’t care; I’m here to take you on a date. You have to accompany ."

Justin followed Charlotte’s footsteps willingly, his gaze always fixed on her, with a hint of deeper aning.

This wasn’t the first ti Justin and Charlotte had been to the amusent park, but the last experience was sowhat regrettable. So this ti, Charlotte didn’t choose many rides, preferring instead to stroll hand in hand with Justin.

"Aren’t you going to ask why I chose to co here instead of going for the wedding photoshoot with you?"

As they walked along the riverside, Charlotte turned to look at the silent Justin beside her.

Justin spoke in a deep voice, but it was full of infinite tenderness.

"Because it’s your choice. Whatever you decide, I’ll always be by your side."

Charlotte stopped walking.

The late sumr wind still carried intense heat, even resting in the shade of the trees couldn’t escape the swirling warmth. Charlotte stared at the rippling lake surface stirred by the wind, taking a deep breath, her gaze earnest as she looked at Justin, her face clearing of all emotion.

"Justin, can we... not have a wedding?"

But instead of Justin’s voice, Charlotte was t with his gentle embrace.

The dry sunlight and the scent of cologne lingered at Charlotte’s hair tips, as if bringing her into a tender dream she couldn’t help but indulge in, not wanting to wake up.

"Charlotte, didn’t I just say? Whatever you choose, I’ll be by your side."

Clearly, everyone had been anticipating their wedding, but it ended abruptly with that horrifying incident. Although Charlotte didn’t say anything, Justin knew the wedding had a significant impact on her.

Moreover, there was Vincent afterwards.

"But, we’ve never had a wedding," Charlotte said, looping her hands around Justin’s waist.

"Is that really such an important thing?"

Justin brushed away so stray strands of hair blown across Charlotte’s forehead by the wind,

"What I want is you, just you. All those elaborate things are just embellishnts; they can’t truly bring anything more."

We t in the bustling crowd but fell in love in a quiet, secluded corner.

What I wish to embrace is only you, not this complicated, chaotic city.

The sky unknowingly beca steeped in the hues of evening, like rich watercolor spreading over a blank canvas. The dappled sunlight filtered through the leave’s shadows, casting tight-knit shadows of Justin and Charlotte in an embrace.

Sincere words, along with the rhythm of a heartbeat, engraved deep into Charlotte’s mory.

"Charlotte, I love you."
