Leon Battleson’s words were not surprising to Charlotte Thompson.
After hearing them, she couldn’t help but curl her lips into a cold smile.
"Leon, we both know very well what you want to do with Justin. Do you really think that after eting , you’ll clear up all those online rumors?"
Hearing this, a soft laugh ca from Leon on the other end of the line.

Charlotte had no desire to continue talking with Leon, so she hung up without waiting for him to say anything more.
She tightened her grip on the phone in her palm. Even after ending the call, the frown on her brow did not ease.

Especially regarding Oliver’s attitude toward Leon.

Before Henry could finish his sentence, Charlotte already understood what he wanted to express, and she denied it almost without hesitation.

Charlotte knew well that Oliver was desperate for Justin’s forgiveness; there’s no way he’d post such news online.
As for why Justin didn’t step forward imdiately—he would rather have soone else speak up.
That person would definitely be Justin’s biological father, Oliver Battleson.
No one understood the truth behind Justin’s origins better than Oliver.
Charlotte had thought of Oliver right away and had asked Henry to investigate his whereabouts, leading to this revelation.

Hearing Charlotte’s words, Henry curiously inquired.
"Brother, did you find any information regarding Mr. Battleson’s movents afterward?"

Hearing Henry’s denial, Charlotte confird her suspicion.
The reason Leon called and tried to et with her might partly be because of Oliver.
If she could think of Oliver’s potential to clear Justin’s na, surely Leon could too?
"Brother, I still want to ask you to continue investigating Mr. Battleson for ."
After speaking, Charlotte found Leon’s number in her call log and sent him a ssage agreeing to the eting.
As soon as Charlotte’s ssage was sent, Leon quickly replied with the eting ti and place.
